| My name is Liz Gigante Ulrich and I've been the Coach and Teacher Sponsor of the Port Moody Blues' since the beginning. Coaching is a hard job but the most rewarding one, in my opinion. I am constantly amazed by the athletes that come through the Port Moody program. Each are unique but all are top notch people with amazing spirit, enthusiasm and athleticism. Our program's philiosophy includes excellence and committment but focuses on acquiring lifelong skills, friends and most importantly, memories. I always love keeping in touch with the girls and boys who have helped make the Moody program what it is today. Each one of them keep the spirit alive with the pride they carry with them into their adult lives. There's always a story and always a memory to laugh about when we/they get together. This year's team has made coaching FUN FUN FUN! The Senior athletes have a lot of spunk and determination. They push themselves and set new goals for every practice. I wish other coaches could experience what I do every time I walk....no, drive...to practice!! To every BLUES that has contributed to the success of the Port Moody Program....Love ya Lots!!
