FROM THE PRESIDENT

The holidays are over and I want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. Also, I hope everyone had a successful hunting season. Don't forget, there are still plenty of opportunities to get out for the late small game seasons and the primitive weapons season.

If you just want to work on your shooting skills, the sporting clays and 3-D schedules are included in this newsletter. For those of you with cabin fever, but don't want to be out in the cold, don't forget about the indoor pistol range and the upcoming pin shoots.

Thanks to Don Waugaman and the Archery Committee for their hard work on another successful gun raffle. Also, thanks to the members who supported this effort by selling and buying these tickets.

GUN TICKET COMMITTEE REPORT

Our second ticket did very well and, again, I want to thank all the people who sold and purchased tickets. Congratulations to all the winners. We are now working on a third ticket and it should be out sometime in January. We are going to change suppliers to try and make it a lot easier to pick up your prize. The new store will be Gander Mountain in West Mifflin. We will be putting some new items on this ticket. Gander Mountain will have at our request the following items:

(Anything in the store is available - hunting, archery, fishing, camping, clothing, and reloading equipment.)

That about does it for now, so be watching for our new fund raising ticket because it helps our Club and it is a lot of fun selling winners and making people happy.

The next deadline for newsletter submissions is March 16th. Please remember, when possible, to write your article in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect, using upper and lowercase and submit the information via email to [email protected] or [email protected] or both to cover all bases. New information and changes to the web site should be directed to Terry at his email address. Remember, the web site will only be updated when a request and information is received, it does not get done automatically (i.e. the web site manager is not a mind reader....)
