| Golden Clusters Ornament Materials: Twilley�s Goldfingering (Herrschners carries this) 1.75 mm hook Special stitches: Beg Cluster - (yo, insert hook in indicated stitch, pull up a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook) 2 times, yo and pull through all 3 remaining loops on hook. Cluster - (yo, insert hook in indicated stitch, pull up a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yo and pull through all 4 remaining loops on hook. Directions: Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc) work 19 dc into ring, join with a sl st to top of ch 3. (20 dc) Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining *ch 7, sk 3 dc, sc in next. Repeat from * around, ch 4, tr in beginning sc. (5 ch 7 loops) Rnd 3: Ch 2, beg cluster in same space as joining, *ch 11, cluster in 4th ch of next loop. Repeat from * around, ch 4, tr in top of 1st cluster. Rnds 4 - 5: Repeat rnd 3, at end of rnd 5 finish off leaving a long end for sewing. Slip ornament into bulb. Thread tapestry needle with long end and weave through the 6th ch in each ch 11 loop around, pull tight and knot end.
