| Baby Bottle Cover Materials: About 1/2 oz of worsted weight yarn 18" of ribbon or yarn in contrasting color elastic hair band to fit over top of bottle Size F hook Directions: Rnd 1: Ch 3, sl st to form a ring. Ch 3(counts as 1st dc) work 11 dc in ring, join to top of beginning ch 3. (12 dc) Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same space, work 2 dc in each dc around, join. (24 dc) Rnds 3-13: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join. Rnd 14: Holding elastic band along top of stitches and working over band and stretching it as you work, ch 1 sc in each dc around, join to 1st sc. Rnd 15: Ch 3, 2 dc in same space, work 3 dc in each st around, join. Fasten off and weave in ends. Finishing: Use ribbon (or contrasting yarn) to make one or more bows and tack them onto the bottle cover as desired. |
