Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, working on opposite side of ch, sc in each ch across, join with a sl st to 1st sc. (28 sc) Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 1 now and throughout) skip next sc (dc, ch 1, sk next sc) 9 times, join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. (14 dc and 14 ch 1 sp) Rnds 3-7: Ch 4, sk next ch 1 sp, (dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next ch 1 sp) 9 times, join to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Rnd 8: (Sc, ch 3 sc) in each ch 1 sp around, join to first sc.
