| Deborah Ann Moore (the author) is a board member of the Autism Society of America, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She has two teenage nephews who have autism. Deborah earned a B.A. in English and Communications from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She, her husband and two preschool daughters reside in suburban Philadelphia. Marlene D'Orazio Adler (the illustrator) is a native Philadelphian residing in Glenside, Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and has a Masters degree from the University of the Arts - both located in Philadelphia. She teaches art at North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA, and is active as a professional artist working primarily in papermaking and printmaking. |
