I am 5'10" tall with brown hair and eyes and a florida native (imagine that!)born and raised in Central Florida. I am part American Indian and Irish (What a combo!)
I love to laugh, if you can make me laugh then chances are we will be friends really fast.
I work for a giant rodent here in Central Florida and have called that place my home away from home for over 15 years. I work for Walt Disney Entertainment/Disney Event Group as a Procurement Specialist! Ask me about my job! I love to talk about it! LOL!
I also love to cook! My real passion is baking breads, pies, cookies, cheesecakes... I like to start out with a recipe and then add my own touches! My in thing right now is learning to bake with artifical sweetners such as Splenda....
I also love to read those trashy romance novels (you can get some really creative ideas from some of those books!) (LOL!)
I also enjoy the beach ( I prefer the Gulf beaches over the Atlantic), boating, football games.
I love music! I will listen to just about anything but, I love Country Music! (Give me George Strait or Toby Keith any day of the week!) You can often find me driving down the road in my car singing at the tops of my lungs with the radio or cd player. I am also the sensitive kind of person that you will find crying at a sad song or sad movie. I can't help it! That is who I am!
The rest of my family consists of my father ( My mom passed away in January of 2004, I miss you and love you mom!), My oldest Brother Chuck who lives in Pennsylvania, My two sisters Judy and Ellie (they live here in Orlando) and another brother Tommy (also in Orlando) I have so many aunts and uncles that I can't keep track of them all! Ask me about the 23 aunts and uncles just on my mothers side of the family! (Wonder what my grand parents did for entertainment????) LOL!
I do want to mention my Brother -in-law, Richard (Ellie's husband). Richard was diagnosed with terminal cancer not long after my mother's passing. It is on most of his internal organs. It is un-operable as it was spreading to fast. He is undergoing chemo treatments at this time and he has passed the 6 months that the doctors have given him. Also, since he has started chemo, the cancer has not spread which is wonderful news as it is buying us more time with this wonderful person! If you are reading this and are religious at all then my family would appreciate any and all prayers in regards to Richards health!!!! We love you Richard!
*****Update 2/1/05***** Richard has now passed a year mark. He is a little weaker and a little lighter in weight. But his spirits are up and he is holding his own. The cancer has not spread. Thank you all for your continued prayers. Keep them coming!!!!
*****Update 3/25/05***** It has taken me a couple of weeks to update this. We lost Richard less than two weeks after the last update. This was hard on my sister and the whole family. Richard will be greatly missed.
*****Update 9/01/05******Today is the one year anniversary of my daughters accident. I pray everyday that God will see fit to keep my baby safe. I love her so much. I could not imagine my world with out her in it. I have made so many friends on here. But I am still single!!!! LOL! Oh well, I guess some of us are meant to be alone. It makes us stronger and builds character (at least that is what everyone tells me) Thank you to all my friends that have been there for me and continue to support me, even when I fall on my face. I love you all!
