AUTHORIZED CARGO HANDLING OPERATORS

Filipinas Port Services, Inc. (FILPORT) and Davao Integrated Port and Stevedoring Services Corp. (DIPSSCOR). Both can handle domestic and foreign cargoes under the port’s open competition policy. They also provide mooring services.

PILOTAGE

Davao Pilots’ Association is the PPA-licensed Harbor Pilots. Pilotage services are compulsory in the port district. Arrangements for services must be done 24 hours before arrival of vessels.

PORT SECURITY

Provided by duly licensed security agencies and PPA port police personnel. Other agencies include the National Customs Police, Philippine Coast Guard and Maritime Police of PNP.

ANCILLARY SERVICES

Provided by the following PPA-licensed private companies ; open and non-exlusive basis ; arrangements have to be done before vessel’s arrival.
