Comments : This is my infamous trademark deck, the Deck of Hell. I've been perfecting it for months and this is the end result. It's still not perfect yet, though very close. The strategy is simple. Set up sneasel as fast as possible with a full bench for early sweeping of prizes. Chansey is a staller or back-up attacker, since Double-Edge is one mean attack. Murkrow's Feint Attack gets past Mime and Erika's Dratini as well as enables me to attack the active when Unown D is in play. Elekid is for the dry spells when none of the energy shows up as well as FTK squirtle in raindance decks. Cleffa explains itself. Now for the technical details. You may notice the single cards in there and say, "You said singles are bad!" Well, they are, provided they're not tech cards. Super Potion works where Gold Berry fails. It completely heals a Chansey so that I can double-edge 5 times in a row if I'm lucky, and keeps Sneasel alive against the common Scyther. As you notice, only Chansey has a retreat cost, so I don't have to worry about poison. For other status effects, however, Full Heal Energy comes into play. Only one because status effects aren't very common in Unlimited format. As for the Elm, my energies are precious and only Elm gets them back into the deck instead of Oaking. Plus, it slows down the decking process so I'll survive longer. Now for Weakness. My environment is especially packed with Clefable and as you know, Sneasel is Clefable food. The counter? Chansey, of course. Send it out and we'll see if they dare metronome Double-Edge. The biggest weakness is removals, however. Unlike what many people think, Ecogym and No Removal Gym aren't enough to counter removals. Here's where disruption becomes survival technique. Lass removes trainers from both player's hands, which means any removals or cards that can be used to get to the removals are shuffled back into the deck, hence buying me time. 4 is essential so as to get rid of potential removals as often as possible. Another weakness is the low HP, apart from Chansey. That's why I included Focus Band, to extend the life of my Pokmon. When Focus Band is attached, Gold Berry can't be, and here's another reason why there's Super Potion. That's the full breakdown of my deck. You can see how well the deck is thought out. This is the way decks should be made. Of course, playing with it as often against as many different decks helps too.
