| In Episode One, Anakin Skywalker was a nine year old slave on the desert planet of Tatooine. In Episode II, Anikin is nineteen years old and is a padawan under his teacher Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is known that during the period of episode II and III Anakin will become the sith lord, Darth Vader. |
| At the end of Episode II, Obi-Wan achieves the level of Jedi Knight and begins the training of Anakin Skywalker. Episode II will see a much older and wiser Obi-Wan Kenobi as he teaches Anakin the ways of the force. |
| Queen Amidalla successfully defeated the Trade Federation in Episode One. Episode II will see a strong love affair between her and Jedi Apprentice Anakin Skywalker. Between the time of Episode II and III, Padme' will give birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker. |
| A much older Owen appeared in Starwars: A New Hope as the uncle of Luke Skywalker. Owen became the adopted father of Luke Skywalker after Obi-Wan, fearful of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker and Emperor Palpatine/Chancellor Palpatine turning Luke to the dark side gave Luke to the secret care of Owen. |
| Darth Sidious played the role of a phantom menace durnig Epidode One. Episode II will see this character emerge from the shadows and play a crucial role in the upcoming saga. Darth Sidious will have another sith apprentice in Episode II. |
