About Adoptions
Okay,
so here at Oracle we do adoptions a bit differently. I am so tired of seeing
babyz being
adopted and then dumped to another center one month later. So here at Oracle I decided to
take one extra precaution, just to be sure our babyz go to the best homes.
We require that our babyz be fostered for a 1-2 week period before the adoption becomes final.
Sometime during that week, I will expect an update on how the baby is doing, along with a
few photos.
Step
by step:
1. First, you apply for the baby you want. It will be a simple
form. I don't believe in making people write long winded
reasons about why, after only seeing one photo,
this baby is just perfect for them.
2. If all the information on the form is completed,
and I think that you would make a good parent,
your form will be excepted (I will very rarely
not except a form. Only if it is incomplete/
did not follow directions)
3. Soon after your form is excepted and you
are determined a suitable parent, the baby
will be sent to you.
4. You will then foster this baby for a 1-2
week period. During this time the adoption
of this baby will be listed as "pending".
I would like to give parents a chance
to get to know a baby and see how they
fit in to there family before making anything
final.
5. During this 1-2 weeks period I will expect
at least one update from the parent-to-be
about how the child is doing.
6. If I get NO feedback from the parent during this
time, or during the foster-period the parent
decides the baby does not fit well in to
their home, the baby will be listed as "adoptabe"
again.
7. Otherwise...the adoption will be listed as final and
we would love to hear how the baby is doing every
once in-a-while. =)
