Dear Prospective Toastmaster,
Welcome to PMAC Toronto Toastmaster Club website!!! We are here to help you overcome your fear of public speaking and at the same time improve your communication and leadership skills.
The PMAC Toronto Toastmasters Club began meeting in May 2003, as a means for procurement professionals to develop communication and leadership skills, while offering an opportunity to network with peers. It has since become an OPEN club. If you are interested in achieving personal growth, and overcoming your fears of public speaking, all within a friendly and supportive environment, we welcome you to join our club today.
A Toastmasters club is a “learn-by-doing” workshop in which men and women hone their skills in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Our club currently has 16 members.
At PMAC Toronto Toastmaster, you can get involved in various aspects of the meeting from counting the filler words such as ahs and ums (the “Ahm Counter”) to chairing the meeting (the “Toastmaster”) for the evening. In addition, you will learn communication skills by working in the competent communication manual, a series of 10 speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking.
You can register to become a member at any time. The cost of the membership for a new member for the first 6 months is $100.00; and the semi-annual membership renewal is $60.00. The renewal dates for the membership are April 1st and October 1st of each year.

Upon completion of the competent communicator manual and achievement of your competent communicator award, you will receive two free advanced communicator manuals in order to achieve your advanced communicator bronze award.
