This is a poem I wrote for my mom, Carolyn. I was a rebellious teen, and she has put up with alot from me. She has always loved me, and never gave up on me. She trained me up well. Thanks MOM! I love you!

Mother Of My Life

You gave me life; you gave me love.
You calmed me with the words you said.
You protected me from the bogeyman,
And the monsters under the bed.

I had bad dreams and you were there,
To tell me itd be Ok.
And when I didnt know what to do,
Youd guide me with the things youd say.

I always had essential things,
Like clothes, food, and shoes.
And even though funds were tight,
Candy, toys, and crayons for me to use.

I grew up unappreciative,
And yet you stuck it through.
No matter how much I cursed and swore,
And said I hated you.

And now that I am all grown up,
Im wondering how to repay,
All those things you said and did,
And still giving me today.

There are no words to express,
The love I have for you.
The things you taught me in my life,
Has helped me to get through.

Mother you are so dear to me,
I hope that one day Ill be,
Half the mom to my kid,
As the mother youve been to me.

I LOVE YOU, MOM!!
