This is for all of my cyberfriends on the internet. Pass it on! Thanks for visiting, and don't forget to leave a message in my Guestbook!!

*My Cyber Friend*
I sit at my keyboard, sometimes late at night,
Nothing keeping me awake but my thoughts.
At 3 am, there’s not much I can do,
So someone to talk to I sought.
Days upon days, they turn into weeks.
We meet here just about every night.
We talk about pasts, and things yet to come,
Even things we have done out of spite.
It is odd how some friendships come to be.
This wouldn’t have been my first choice.
Yet day after day, I look forward to chatting,
Even though I have never heard your voice.
I picture you at your keyboard,
Sitting just as I.
I can see your face as you patiently wait,
To hear what I say in my reply.
I wonder what you may look like,
Big or small, short or tall?
Brown hair or blond?
Even though I don’t know,
And probably never will,
We still share a special bond.
It’s funny how I can tell you anything,
My hurt feelings sometimes you mend.
You are more than just some buddy,
You see you are my Cyber Friend.
