*Maria Simoneta also wore the pearl and diamond tiara that belonged to her grandmother Maria de las Marcedes. This tiara originally belonged to HM Queen Maria Cristina (nee Archduchess of Austria) second wife of Alfonso XII. It was a wedding present to the princess from Alfonso XIII and Victoria Euginie when she married the Count of Barcelona.
