Beautiful Countries
I was fortunate to visit N. Cascade, Olympic and Mt. Rainier National Parks in Washington state and HuangShan area within weeks of each other. Each park is beautiful in its own way. Please enjoy.
From Hurrricane Ridge, Olympic National Park.
Glaciers linger on the peaks of 2500m high.
Rock out-croppings called Sea Stacks, isolated from the shoreline by erosion, are commom on the northern cost of Washington. This is off the port of LaPush, a very interesting place to see wildlife. There are sea lions, brown pelicans and thousands of gulls.
The dam was build 600AD and rebuild in 15th century with stone with stone hinges and locks. The dam was used as place to dry nets for crabs and fish, washings and boat building/repair. Several trained Cormorants rests  upstream, ...
Downstream, people washes vegetables, cloths. Where's the fisherman of the boat? He's probably napping after a hard day's work.
Pines with extended branches are thought to be extending welcoming arms. HuangShan is famous for them. Here is one near ShiXingFong, North section of the Mountain range.
West of the mountain range provide a wonderous panarama with well eroded rocks in shapes of old men playing go with each other, Fairy embroidering, Boot sunning, Tiger wrestling, etc.
As the sun poked through the horizon, the clouds blanketed the mountains. A glorious day is about to begin.
Many look-outs in HuangShan provided views of layer after layer of mountains, often hugged by sea of clouds. It is truly beautiful.
