Plum Cottage is a ground floor barn conversion. Photographs can be deceiving! Inside the accommodation is very spacious and most rooms have views over farmland often being grazed by cows. The picture on the website has been taken from the rear of the cottage. The approach at the front is through an archway into a large and very private parking area. (I have the measurements of the archway should you have a particularly tall vehicle - watch the bikes on top!) The garden continues around the side of the cottage and has a gate separating the parking area to make it safe for little ones.
Inside is all on one level and has many of the original beams of the barn. Kitchen: well equipped with plentiful crockery, cutlery and cooking essentials. There is an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cleaning stuff, clothes, and t-towels are provided. Utility room: washing machine and tumble dryer. No soap powder provided.
Bedroom 1: The large bedroom has a king size bed, with en-suite shower room. Plenty of room for a cot.
Bedroom 2: Double Bed
Bedroom 3: Twin Beds. This room can be arranged as a single room, or a single plus cot.
Linen and towels are provided.
Family bathroom.
Sitting room: comfortable sofas, TV with video, CD player and a French window opening into the garden.
The kitchen and sitting room are separated by the dining area.
The cottage is very suitable for some disabled. An accessibility statement is available on request. It is important to discuss any special needs with the owner to confirm the suitability of the cottage.
The property is within walking distance of the Lamb Inn (since the recent change of ownership it�s more a restaurant!) and the Shaven Crown which offers a bar serving bar meals.
My changeover day is Friday and the cottage will be ready by 4pm. Guests are asked to vacate by 10am on their departure day. When you see the garden you�ll realize that I need every minute of that day! It is appreciated if you leave the cottage in a clean condition.
