I am in love again! A
really wonderful person that I have met from Spain. Love seems to bring
out the poet in me - and so I have written another love poem. I wrote it
in English and then painfully translated it in to Spanish!
My love is too kind and does not tell me that the Spanish translation is absolute rubbish!
To My Love
Just smile, my love,
And like a bird, I take wing.
Floating upon the heights,
I bask in the warmth of your pleasure.
Just laugh, my love
And all around darkness flees.
Light sparkles, jewel-like,
Surrounding me in your joyfullness.
Just sing, my love,
And at the first note my heart leaps
High and higher, trying to catch
The delight of your desires.
But cry, my love
And down the shutters fall.
Darkness, silence, overwhelms.
My heart would break in your dismay.
Para Mi Amor,
Solamente sonrisa, mi amor,
Y como pájaro, tomo al cielo.
Flotación en las nubes,
Soy calentada por su placer.
Solamente risa, mi amor,
Y alrededor la oscuridad huye.
Chispas de la luz, como joyas,
Rodéme con su alegría.
Solamente cante, mi amor,
Y la primera nota envia mi corazón saltos
Alto y moy alto, el intentar para coger
El pacer de su deseo.
Pero llore, mi amor,
Y los obturadores sea corrado.
Obscuridad, silencio, está abrumando.
Mi corazón se rompería en su consternacíon.
