The Bogarts live hidden away from mainstream society, fearing every day that they might be discovered and exterminated. Why...? They are mutants.

Martha- The central character in Mutations. She is related to the Bogarts, and has had to come and live with them because everyone in her close family has been moved into a mental asylum. She is ever-so-slightly overly-analytical.

Arthur Bogart- A bit of a ol' codger. However, his jolly exterior masks his true self- a troubled boy looking for comfort.

Doris Bogart- Arthur's sister. She is a psychotic little evil killer-girl with an unhealthy appetite for human flesh.

Lancelot Bogart- Arthur's brother. He is a world-renowned expert on Henry VIII. He never leaves his round (coffee) table.

Agrarian Reform Bogart- Arthur's cousin. He's a sensitive try-hard skatie.

Medweena Bogart- Agrarian Reform's sister. She's also a her-man (but nobody is supposed to know) Her life ambition is to join the armed forces.

Crispin Bogart- Crispin only plays a minor role in Mutations. He is the secretary for the Bogarts and can often be seen carrying around his typewriter.

Dougal Bogart- The leader of the Bogarts. He has an extensive collection of kilts.

Pam- Martha's friend.
