JazzyDraw Operational Requirements:
(everything you typically need is in this ZIP distribution)
============================================================
 SD Card (any size)
 Any 320x320 or T|X hardware (not Z22; not Windows-based machines)
 Palm OS v3.5 (not Windows)
 plua2rt.prc
 JazzyDraw_v3.prc
 MathLib.prc (maybe)

IMPORTANT:

1.) If you uninstall the previous version of JazzyDraw (including Plua) then your old 10 pictures will be lost. To avoid losing your old work use a third-party application to screen capture the images to another format before uninstalling.

2.) JazzyDraw will NOT work without first installing the FREEWARE "plua2rt.prc" contained within this distribution. It has not been verified to function correctly with any other version.

About JazzyDraw:

Changed on: MAY2008 Ver: 3.0
Tested On: T|X; Treo700p; Plua2.0
Likely to work on all: PalmOS Treos & Centro

I, the author, do not accept any responsibility nor liability for damage caused by this software. This software is FREEWARE. It can be freely distributed on the condition of no modification. The "Plua" software required to activate this software is managed by its own policies unrelated to this software. As of the changed date listed (MAY2008), my understanding of Plua's policy was that plua2rt.prc could be USED freely for at least personal use, and one copy could be distributed freely with a Plua program. See the Plua website for all Plua policies. Any Plua policies shown on the Plua website override anything written here. I hold absolutely no rights to the term "Plua".

Install Procedure:
==================
1.) Install "plua2rt.prc" and "JazzyDraw_3.prc" from this download ZIP file.

2.) Synchronize your device with your computer and the application icon should now appear in your UNFILED category.

DONE... that's all you need. Enjoy!

3.) If you want to test out the application with the example images, then install the BMP files to the following directory:
{SD-Card}/DCIM/JazzyDraw/

4.) If you have any problems, you might try acquiring "MathLib.prc" and install it. Most systems already contain this file (not even sure if JazzyDraw requires it or not).

The Advertising Pitch:
======================
JazzyDraw is better than any other FREEWARE Palm OS 3.5 drawing application that I have found (if I do say so myself). It is designed specifically for people who want COLOR and want artistic features. It is missing some nice features that other applications have such as ALERTS. JazzyDraw will not allow you to set a timer for a picture to reappear. JazzyDraw is NOT better than all PAID drawing applications. If you want to buy an expensive drawing application, then I am sure you can find a better one somewhere.

JazzyDraw was specifically designed to be easy and fun for kids to use. Kids do enjoy playing with it. The younger ones like to use "FILL" on some of the pre-made shapes. Older kids tend to explore more.

One word of caution when letting your kids use it... they will eventually find the "Save" feature, so they might wipe out some pictures you wanted to keep!

Having Troubles? Here are some typical problems/answers:
=========================================================
Q: Hey!  Why can't I save a file?
A: The application requires you have an SD card installed.
However if you use third party applications, like FREEWARE 'Snap', then you can screen capture the images to files such as *.BMP, etc. without an SD card. One of the best parts about this version of JazzyDraw compared to the previous version is that you can share the normal images with your computer even without the third-party application... so long as you have an SD card.

Q: Hey! Why doesn't it work right?
A: Well... that depends, but the most common problems are:
   1.) You missed an install step (see above).
   2.) You ran out of memory.
   3.) You are trying to run the application on an unsupported device.
       Don't run it on z22 nor Windows based Treos... it won't work.

Q: Hey! I made a mistake and ruined my picture... what can I do now?
A: JazzyDraw contains a few copies of older versions of your work. Try using the "UNDO" feature to get back to a point you like. Be careful... if you "UNDO" too far, you have only 1 chance to use "R"-redo, to restore the last point. Good luck!

Q: Hey! Sometimes a stray line is drawn on my picture which totally messes up my picture! Why?
A: It is assumed that in most cases it is because the active screen sends the wrong coordinates to JazzyDraw. In a few cases it might also just be a defect in JazzyDraw. The only way to live with this problem is to use the "u" undo key command when it occurs.

Q: Hey! How come one or more of the key commands does not work?
A: Try different states of the key (CAPITAL, OPTION-KEY, etc.). The testers of JazzyDraw typically ran in LOWER-CASE mode.

Q: Hey! I have a problem not on the list... what do I do?
A: Well, it might be the amount of memory available on your system. Try freeing some up by eliminating some other older programs. If you continue to have problems, send the detailed recreation steps of what you did and the result it gave you, to:

Uninstall:
==========
Delete the following things and JazzyDraw should be completely removed from your device:
1.) JazzyDraw application (JazzyDraw_v3.prc).
2.) plua2rt.prc (if another application doesn't need it)
3.) Mathlib (if another application doesn't need it)

If you have removed these items, then JazzyDraw should be fully removed from your system.

Version History:
================
v1 = plua1.1, no save to SD, no BMP format, etc.
v2 = plua2.0, save to SD, BMP format, but included a defect whereby hitting 'S' the first time to save would not properly create the image directory, so it would fail to save. Work-around was to create directory manually or via Files option.
v3 = plua2.0, save to SD, BMP format, fixed directory creation problem so even intial save works now as the directory is created at start-up.
