Recently I heard a story that finally sent me over the edge. Rush Limbaugh, the very icon of White, Angry, Conservative, Rich and Republican, just signed a contract for upwards of 250 million dollars with a 35 million-dollar signing bonus. Is this man worth that kind of money? No wonder he and other WACRRS are screaming for a tax cut!! Although, Ill bet he already has a way to shelter that money enough to pay about the same amount in actual income tax as I do--Im a waitress at a deli. To me hes not worth two cents but to the stations that carry his syndicated show he is worth every penny, and to the sponsors of his show hes a God, just ask Snapple!!!!

When does the American consumer say enough!!!

Have you tried to take your family to the baseball game lately?? Better eat before you go! Just tickets alone will set you back at least $100 bucks for a family of four--thats just tickets--cheap seats, no parking, no soda, no hot dog, no program and no hat!!!!! Think about that the next time you and your buddies are talking about the 250 million that the Texas Rangers ponyed up for Alex Rodriquez. Do you think that the owner in ticket sales and concessions wont recover that money?!?!?!

Forget about going to the game; try just buying a pair of running shoes. Nike forked over 30 million dollars to Tiger Woods in endorsements. Now he can afford a new pair everyday for the rest of his life, and Ill bet he gets em for free!!! Working class people buying shoes with a 900% mark-up recover the cost.

Still our politicians tell us that this tax cut will trickle down to us who are making less than $30,000 a year eventually. Do you think that they care that its going to have to trickle down to roughly 70% percent of working Americans? If you make under $20,000 a year forget it you wont feel a drop!!! Still they will tell you that its because you dont pay any income taxes so why should you get any money back?.

Well, lets think about that.

Most of the people who buy those products fall in the $20,000 to $30,000 ranges. We pay for those Nikes, and baseball tickets, Snapple's and lets not forget food and rent (the people who own the supermarkets and leasing companies will benefit a lot from those cuts). So we provide the income required to receive the cut--and we provide much more income than the actual services and products require because of high paid endorsements and CEO salaries.

They dont see it that way. So for one day, just one day, lets not go to work! Lets not buy one thing! The rich folks think we dont count. So lets see if we do. Even if they dont see it in their bottom line it would be fun to watch the get along for one day without the

And so on and so on...

Thats our money they want to get back from the government and think we dont deserve because we dont pay in enough. I say weve paid in plenty. So lets just give it a shot. Stay home with me on August 17th and see if they can get along without us!!
