I'm not sure exactly what hides this game--I suspect that the beauties roll it out like in Hi Lo, but they just do it while the camera is showing the car. There are 5 prizes in this game--a car (usually from ($16,000-$22,000) and four 3-digit or 4-digit prizes. If the car has 5 digits in its price, the first digit is given. The first, second, third, and fourth digits (ungiven) in the price of the car are the same as one of the digits in the prices of the first, second, third, and fourth prizes respectively. Nowadays, the prices of these prizes have only 2 different digits (in the past I've seen prizes where there were 3 different digits). These four "small" prizes are given to the contestant (actually, these prizes' totals range from $2000 to $6000; not bad!). That's right! The contestant doesn't have to do anything! S/he can just take those prizes doing nothing. Anyway, care to guess why this game is called "Temptation"? That car I mentioned earlier is the temptation. If you try to win the car, you must have every single digit right--if you have even one number wrong, you don't win the car, and you lose the 4 prizes given to you earlier. |

I'll be honest--this is probably the hardest game on the show. All I can say to help are two things: one, listen to the kind of car it is so you can at least get the second number right, and two, the last number is usually a 5 or a 0. Unfortunately, the last prize is usually $500 or $500, making the last number the hardest to figure out. Also, in this game, the last number has about an equal chance of being 5 or 0. I think this game should start having cars like on 3 Strikes (over $30,000). |
