| This game is played behind the giant pricetag. There are five grocery items used in this game. The contestant must guess the prices of these grocery items. These prices are added up. Then the actual prices of the products are revealed, and these prices are added up. The contestant wins if his/her total is within $1.00 of the actual total of the products. (It used to be $0.50 within the actual price. Once the 27th season (I'm so proud of myself) my total for the products was $8.99, and the actual total of the products was (gasp!) $8.99! I had done perfectly!) | ||||||||||||
| HOW TO WIN | ||||||||||||
| Granted, this is probably the hardest of the grocery games (save for It's in the Bag), but it's still pretty easy to win. First, you should consider that the total of the products is usually around $10.00, so you should worry if your total is less than $8.00 or over $12.00. Also, if you think you've messed up on one product (either guessing too high or too low), you can guess the other way for another product to counteract that. Also, make sure your guesses are reasonable. Don't guess $2.00 for toothpaste or $5.00 for juice. | ||||||||||||
