Card Game
I'm not sure where this game is hiding on the stage (once they've shown the whole stage when this game was going to be played, and this game wasn't shown or anything it could be hiding behind)--maybe while the camera's on the car, the beauties roll out this game like they roll out Hi Lo.  Anyway, the prize for this game is a car (from about $11,000 to $17,000).  The game starts with the contestant drawing a card from $500 to $2000 (this is how close the contestant has to come within the price of the car without going over.  Then, Bob starts the contestant with a bid of $8000.  Then Bob asks the contestant to cut a regular deck of cards (though for this game, since the cards are spread out about the table, that's really not necessary), and then he spreads them about the table.  The contestant draws cards to increase his/her bid.  Number cards are worth the number on the card times $100.  Face cards are worth $1000.  Aces are wild--the contestant can make the aces worth anything s/he wishes, and s/he can use them right away or save them for later.  If the contestant's ultimate bid is within the selected range without going over the actual price, s/he wins!  I find that of all the pricing games, the funniest contestants play this game (i.e. January 26, February 26, April 1, June 4, etc.).  Of the 4 "card games," this one is by far the best--which isn't saying much, though.  (This game used to start at a $2000 bid.)
HOW TO WIN
This game should be easy for most contestants, since most contestants get either a $1500 or a $2000 range to win (I think most of the cards in the special deck are $1500 and $2000.  Ever notice how RARE it is for someone to draw a $500?  Actually, I think they "evened out" the deck in season 28, however).  The biggest mistake contestants make is that they do not go high enough--this happens much more often than going over.  Most contestants will stop at around $13,000 or $14,000, no matter what kind of car it is, just so they won't go over.  That's not how to win.  You should keep going until you get to about what you think the lowest possible price for the car is.  Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the kind of car you're playing for.  If it's a cheap car, like a Ford Focus, then stopping around $14,000 is fine, but don't be afraid to go as high as $18,000 if you're playing for a more expensive car, like a Chevy Malibu.  DO NOT let the audience pressure you into stopping too early--they WILL do this--ignore them!  Also, the ace is quite valuable (you can make it anything you wish).  Bob will let you just say what you want your bid on the car to be if you have an ace--you don't have to say what you want the ace to be worth.  In any case, if you get an ace, USE the ace, PLEASE!
