COMMENTS

*Pretty good show.  Switcheroo was won, Elva, Armond, and Peter were fun contestants, and Riki, though not too exciting, was very, very pretty... that counts for something, right?
*Bob used "lollygagging" today, in telling Peter to hurry up with him at the turntable.
*Peter had hoped he'd get 5 minutes to play Switcheroo... boy, that's an awfully generous amount of time.  Even Shirley in Make Your Move in Season 27 only took about 4 and a half minutes!
*Riki said she wanted to freeze the frame at $1287 originally, but Bob said she couldn't, that it'd have to be $1283.  Bob was wrong, of course, but I do wonder if it affected her decision to stop at $2748 at all...
*Heh, Armond knew he didn't want to bid first on the picnic table... though he won on that attempt anyway.
*Boy, Bob sure gets upset with Fortune Hunter contestants lifting the lid wrong... though not as bad as January 22, he was complaining when she lifted the whole box too early (when Bob goes 1, 2, 3... what would...)... the contestants are nervous enough on stage, Bob.  If you want them to lift the lid correctly, make it simple... it's NOT the time to tease them!
*You could tell there would be no money in the box just by how easily Elva lifted the box... no way little her could've lifted it so quickly if it were filled with $1 bills (this was before the empty boxes were weighted).
*For that matter, Bob, when Elva said she wanted you to lift the lid, you should've just done that... would've saved a lot of trouble on the poor girl!  Don't argue when someone asks you to lift it for them, please!
*Bob said Dice Game wasn't originally going to be played today, but someone in the audience said they loved the Dice Game, so they brought it out anyway.  Course we know they'd have played Dice Game regardless.
*The Made for the Water showcase used the TPiR '94 car cue, yet no car was offered... hmm...
*This episode was originally preempted during Penny Ante the first time it aired... during the summer reruns, the showcase results got preempted, meaning I needed to watch 2 tapes to get all the information on the episode!
*Last week, we had 2 fun contestant #9s, Janna and Tammy... Roxanne, while a contestant #9, was pretty dull, though.  Just wait until February 16 for a great #9....
