| COMMENTS *Not the greatest episode, but it did have some nice moments. *Lawrence did a little harmonica playing to lead Bob into commercial after his pricing game, which was fun. *Joan tried a fakeout on Bob after the price of the second IUFB was revealed, trying to go up on stage as if she had won, when she had (stupidly) bid $20 less than the bidder who did win. *Laurie claimed to know how to play Ten Chances before she started to play... and of course, we find out she's a liar on national TV. Though I guess she has going for her that they've had a lot worse Ten Chances players... *Also, Laurie seemed to have a problem using each digit only once when she got to the car. *There was a shark fin chasing the sailboard (the third IUFB)... that was kinda' strange... *Guessing 9 JollyTime in Bullseye really wasn't a bad guess... at the time, JollyTime popcorn came in a $1.29 size and a $2.29 size... if it were the $1.29 size, Melinda would have won with $11.61! *Bullseye did the boring "all flash" when it was won today. *Pick a Number was tough... how often are grandfather clocks over $5000? *Not to mention, how often are they over $9000?! What WAS Matthew thinking?! Then again, he thought a spinoff at 55 cents with another spinner behind him was a good idea, so I'm guessing he wasn't thinking... *Sure, Bonus Game has been easy in Season 30... but remember back when they'd put the BONUS by the trickiest prize? Like this show? *Yep... back in Season 26, Lucky $even was quite frequently played sixth. Bob said Joan must be tired of sitting up and getting back down throughout the show, so he'd bring the prize out to her. *Even back in Season 26, vans were not only $15,000, making 5 a rather bad guess for the second digit... can't feel sorry that Joan didn't win, really. *Joan was originally going to bid $6500 on her showcase... wouldn't have mattered, she'd have lost either way, though at least what she did bid didn't look so dumb. *The jukebox music played during the credits. |
