| COMMENTS *What an appropriate name for Joy... she sure did bring lots of joy to this show! Really, one of the greatest contestants ever! She sure made this episode great! *What to say about Joy? She was just such a perfect contestant in every way! She was extremely excited to be there, she knew how the show basically runs, she knew Pathfinder, she got so excited just for each digit she got right, and went crazy after winning the car... what more could you ask for? *Joy actually brought up Johnny Olsen! *Joy gave Bob's "Have your pets spayed or neutered" line at the end of the show! *For those counting, this makes 2 consecutive perfect Pathfinder wins! *4 quickie games were played today... while it's commonplace nowadays, it was VERY rare before Season 28! *Pick a Number was played for the second consecutive week today. Yes, it wasn't played QUITE so rarely back then! *Once again, a contestant tried to take the lid off the Fortune Hunter box too early. Once again, a contestant asked Bob to lift it off, and he wouldn't. Oh well, at least Stephen won, and Bob didn't yell today. *Besides Joy, Angel and Stephen were pretty fun contestants too. *What a concept--call the fun contestants early in the show, and call the boring ones later! Considering the other 6 contestants were rather bland... they'd finally done it today! *I just wanted to strangle Pamela throughout the show... she just kept seeping cluelessness throughout, from her $3750 IUFB bid, to her lousy playing of Now or Then, to her ultra-conservative showcase bid. *The "Honey Do" List of Famous People showcase made NO sense! While it was obviously Valentine's Day themed, the entire showcase was very sloppily put together. What did it have to do with famous people? What did it even have to do with Valentine's day, other than Janice dressed as cupid? Just about the worst holiday-themed showcase ever. *For those Secret "X" haters--with it not being played today, Secret "X" has been absent for 3 consecutive weeks! Horray! It'll be back next week, though, so don't celebrate too hard. *Full credit roll today! |
