| COMMENTS *Another great show today, and again, fun contestants helped, particularly Mary. And it was also nice to see that many of the contestants today actually knew what they were doing--a rare day of mostly smart contestants! *A lot of birthdays today. Aristeo's mother's birthday, Ruby's 75th birthday, and Mary's birthday. *Bob made an error in Grocery Game. He said they used to have to get from $10.00-$12.00 back when products were cheaper. That would be cruel if they'd really narrowed the range by a dollar, but he was thinking of Bullseye, currently, not Grocery Game. Grocery Game used to have a $6.75-$7.00 range... only 25 cent range! That $1.00 range nowadays doesn't look so bad now... *Boy, was that playing of 2 for the Price of 1 ever cheap today! Only $2487 worth of prizes. *Grocery Game was played nicely today, though it wasn't very difficult... none of the products was over $3.00. *Poor Irene, bitten by rare bad luck in Dice Game, twice! And someone you really wanted to win, too, fun and excitable. Shame she didn't get in the showcase. *The 3 cheapest prizes in Credit Card today were the 3 prizes on the bottom row. *Mary was an absolutely wonderful contestant, who said she knew how to play Pathfinder, and proved herself! Quite fitting that a fun, smart contestant goes through a perfect playing of Pathfinder! And her reaction to winning the car is just classic! *The Buick Regal in Pathfinder used the cue normally reserved for trucks or vans. Weird... *The camping equipment used the rarely-heard-on-TPiR Family Feud cue! Yay! *Another classic moment--Aristeo passing a car showcase, and winding up with an amphibious vehicle showcase! Kinda' hard to feel sorry for him... he kinda' deserved it. *It's too bad Melissa didn't get up on stage... she looked like she'd have been a lot of fun... also would've made 3 fun contestant #9s in a row getting up on stage! *We had a full credit roll today! |
