| COMMENTS *Still to this day, and back then, the producers were still calling the best contestants last sometimes, in today's case, Shirley and Tammy, notably better than the first 7 called. At least today, they both made it up on stage! *Shirley and Tammy were fun contestants, and an almost flawless (save for Squeeze Play) pricing game lineup made this show fun to watch! *Tammy was attending Texas Christian University, Rod's university! Cool! *Zachary didn't seem to understand Race Game too well. When you have 2 right the first time, and 1 right the second time, it would be a good idea to fix that error before making more changes. *For that matter, for an athletic-looking guy, Zachary was kind of slow playing the game, and ignored Bob when he said time was up (and he would've won 1 prize had he not ignored Bob too!). *Minor blooper: The 2 in Race Game flashed for a moment before Zachary pulled down the lever when he had 2 right. *Here's something you don't see everyday: the audience was yelling at Kimberly to go HIGHER when she stopped at $1440! She still won, though the audience didn't think she had gone high enough! *In less than 4 years, that honey has gone from $2.09 to $2.94, perhaps being the grocery product hit hardest by inflation... no wonder Tammy was leary to risk losing $1000 for it! *Today's playing of 3 Strikes is likely why some people hate the game... *Today's playing of 3 Strikes was the second to last playing to use all 3 strikes, instead of just 1 strike. *Bob said he thought Katrina's $1016 bid was the first to ever get on stage, then said he thought it was the first $1016 bid ever. I don't know whether he's right or wrong, but at least he said he thought it was a first, rather than saying it was a first. *Did the Nipper and Chipper stuffed dogs come with the satellite dish? From Rod's description, it sounded like they did, though I couldn't be sure. *Kimberly said her grandmother was a contestant on the show... probably didn't play Magic Number though. *Funny that both showcases offered a cappucino machine... a cappucino machine was one of the second showcase's small kitchen appliances, though it didn't look as impressive as the first showcase's cappucino machine. *Yes, Grand Game was played sixth. However, back in Season 26, it was not uncommon for Grand Game to be played sixth... though it was the only cash game to frequent that slot. *Ginny... what are we going to do with you? TWICE you tried to bid what another person already bid in the show! |
