I enjoyed the privileges of lowered expectations in High School due to the state's emphasis on the graduation rate.  Therefore, I enjoyed some of the most simple years of my education to my graduation in 1995.

I went to college at Brigham Young University, a top-100 school set in the thin air of Provo, UT, and majored in Management-Information Systems with a minor in English.  I took the five-year program and graduated in 2001.

Soon after graduation, Kelley, an old girlfriend, moved back into the area.  After other obstacles were out of the way (I was dating someone else when she moved back), our relationship was rekindled, and we were married the following year.

A little more than a year after marriage, we discovered that Kelley was pregnant.  A few months later, I found out that my job was moving out of the country.  Because of these new  developments, we decided to move closer to Kelley's parents, so we relocated to Vincennes.  Our son, Chris, was born on September 16, 2004.
