My sister has five children, ages 3 - 11. Because her children are young, she babysits in her home to make a living. Unfortunately, this time of year is always extremely rough on her financially. She's lost one full-time child she babysat and the others are in and out more this time of year than usual, which decreases her income dramatically.
She homeschools her children because of a known incident involving the vice principal of one of the schools in her area and my daughter. She can't afford to move, but is unwilling to put her children at risk by placing them in this immoral school district. My sister's whole life has been devoted to her children and their care. She has just hit a place financially where she can't continue to survive without help.
My sister is extremely frugal and does without a lot so that she can provide a home for her children to live in and food for them to eat. She's never been one to waste anything, but her total income is less than $900 per month and that just isn't enough to support her family of six.
It is my greatest desire to be able to help her out financially, but I, myself, am not doing well in that area right now. Preparing this website and putting it out there to ask others to help is really all I can do.
My sister is about to loose her house (a tiny, 56' X 16', 3-bedroom mobile home). On top of this, she is now looking at the very real possibility of having her electricity and phone turned off. Please help me help her not to loose her home during these winter months.
