I don't want to miss the grand opening of Funtown! Plus Jen is gonna be waiting for us!" screamed Cortney from the car. Her mom was talking on the phone, supposedly it was "business." Cortney started to beep the horn. Her mom finally came out, after about 10 continuous beeps. "Ok, now where are we going?" her mom said with a sigh. "You know! The newest amusement park, FUNTOWN! Hello?! It is the grand opening! Earth to mom!" "Sorry hunny, I spaced for a second." Her mom started the car, and they took off to the park. ~*~ At the Park ~*~ Cortney got out of the car after a 20 minute ride, which seemed like an eternity, and looked around from where she was standing. Funtown was HUGE! It looked so awesome! She couldn't wait for Jen to get there! It was gonna be so fun! After two minutes of waiting, Jen showed up. "Hey girl! What's up?" Jen asked as she was getting out of the car. "Nothing much." Said Cortney. "Man this place looks awesome!" "Ya I know! This is gonna be so fun!" "Cortney?" said her mom. "Yea mom?" Cortney questioned back. "I will pick you two up at 10:00 pm, right here and don't be late, because we will still have to bring Jen home." "Alright, I promise not to be late." "Ok sweetie." said her mom as she was pulling away. |
