This is a relatively short section, only two parts.  You will learn how to create an absolute value graph in 1 variable and a polynomial inequality in 1 variable.  While this may sound difficult, it is quite easy once you get the hang of it.  In this section, all your graphs have one variable (x).  Therefore, you graph it on a number line.  Your understanding of this section and the previous section, Polynomial Equations,  is crucial for your understanding of the next section, Inequalities in 2 Variables.
