| Equations
and Applications of Sine Waves
In this
section, you will learn how to solve simple trigonometric equations,
how to find equations of different sine and cosine curves, how
to apply both of those, and how to use trigonomtetrix functions to
model periodic behavior. This is some interesting stuff. You
also learn about inclination and how all of this can be applied to
electricity (frequency). The last part of this section deals
with modeling periodic function using sine and cosine. For
this section, you have to remember back to the section called Graphs
and Inverses of Functions. You also learn how to translate sine
and cosine functions and what their new equation would be. It
is very similar to the section on Conic Sections and Graphs and Inverses
of Functions. This is mostly a review section, but the key
is being able to adapt what you learned in previous sections and
applying it to trigonometric functions.
