Born in Rocky Mount (Franklin County), Virginia and raised in Roanoke, Virginia to a newly wedded couple (can you say shotgun wedding). I left home at the tender age of 18 and moved to Drums, PA to attend Keystone Job Corps Center. I obtained my high school diploma and Accounting Clerk Certification. Then, I decided to join the US Army, in 1987. My MOS in the military was radio & satellite communications operator, but I did a variety of different jobs in the service. I was in the service during Desert Storm, Somalia and then etsed(exit the service) in 1995. I decided to move to Dallas, Texas after getting out of the army. I remained in Dallas for 3 years and then moved back home to the east coast to be near my family. After being here for 2-1/2 years I applied for the Vocational Rehab program to attend college. My long term goal is to ultimately obtain my Bacherlors of Fine Arts, with Graphic Design concentration, after obtaining my Liberal Art Degree at Thomas Nelson Community College.
