| A very highly anticipated game, and huge fans of the first game will love it. Only problem being: the second character. Not to beat down on people that love him or something, but Raiden is really just a pansy and a freak. The guys a total wuss. Snake is MUCH cooler. The game overall is GREAT though. The weapons and enemies have been greatly improved. The AI is stunningly accurate to real life. The machines are still stupid as hell, but I mean, what can you expect? I've heard this bit of "gossip" about a new version (or something) of this game. Supposed to be called Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. Supposedly, you will be able to play as Snake the whole game. Which, of course, will be cool. Still, this is a great game. I was on the verge of calling it a "buy it" title, but slipped it down at the last second. So, don't be thrown off my the blue rating, MOST DEFINITELY rent it, if you don't buy it. |
