| A beautiful game, a beautiful storyline, and beautiful graphics and gameplay make this game a star. Final Fantasy X has some graphics never seen before in a video game. Way beyond our time, you feel like your watch a movie. All parts of the game are well rounded to give it that "real life" feel. The characters are also well done and each has their own unique and essential fighting style. The new switch system is a great idea (being able to switch members in and out during a battle) and came just at the right time because I have never seen a game where it was so well done that you HAD to use every single character. That's right, if you don't use everyone, your chances aren't very good most of the time. The "turn-based" battle system that it seems all RPGs are going to recently is also here. I can't say I like this idea. Although, the window which tells you the order of the next attackers is also a good addition. The new level up system, the sphere grid, is (in my opinion) a good change to the game series. In X, when you level up, you receive a move on a large grid which contains moves, skills, magics, and stat +s that you can gain as you move along. The system is very original and, in my opinion, something to keep for future games. Also, the ability to use aeons to fight rather than just summoning and then leaving improves the battling a lot. This a great game and a must have for the RPG gamer. Pick it up and play your way through it. It's gonna take you a while, but you'll love every minute of it, I guarentee it. |
