Medal of Honor: Frontline Review
Head back behind the deep trenches of Europe as you play the one and only Lt. Jimmy Patterson in Medal of Honor Frontline. In this series of the smash-hit Medal of Honor series, Lt. Patterson returns to war and must break into the German frontline to rob the Germans of the HO-IX flying bird of destruction, an experimental Nazi weapon so powerful, it could turn the tide of World War II.

The graphics and the sound are probably the best qualities of this game. The graphics are known, and are proven, to be the best ever for a First Person Shooter. Also the soldiers have very detailed faces and expressions. The vivid landscape in the game will make you coming back for much more. From the green hills of Holland to the dark alleyways in France, the graphics are fabulous. The backgrounds are full of action, planes flying over, people running away from soldiers, and drive by shootings. Everything is three dimensional and completely accessible. Ranging from houses, vehicles, and stationary machine guns. These graphics will make you think of the movie Saving Private Ryan.

Now, turn up the volume and bust out the surround sound, because this game supports Dolby Digital Surround Sound. This is what adds to the excitement, bullets flying around, over your head, and bombs exploding, feet away. Soldiers have their own voice, (which by the way are very motional) and the opposing force speaks German. Also, the weapons have their own specific sounds. The sounds in this game are flawless.

Game play, one word, WOW. This game stands out from the rest of the series. Here you dont sneak around the Nazis and hope they dont see you, you run into the trenches and do hand to hand combat. The Nazis dont just stand there, when you walk into a room, they flip the desk over, get down behind it and attack! When bombs are dropped and your gun is being shot, your Dual Shock 2 does its job. It rumbles until it cant rumble anymore.

The replay value is up in the sky. If you are a FPS or World War II fan and would be interested in playing it over and over, buy it. But many of you hard-core gamers could rent it and beat it in less than 9 hours. My opinion is to rent this game. My final opinion is to buy this game, it is worth it and it will keep you busy, days on end.
