Robotech: Battlecry Review
Well when I first got this game I expected a lot more from the Robotech saga. First of all the missions are really hard (I had trouble beating a couple of missions without cheats). OK, now that I have said that lets get down with the basics of the game. Battlecry along with a couple of other PS2 games uses cartoon graphics instead of CDC (Computer Designed Characters). But I guess since the game is based on the Anime series it goes well. One of my favorite parts of the game is the weight of the case (I'm serious). Well its not exactly the weight its what makes up most of the weight, a special 1st episode DVD. Well now on with the game.

Graphics- The graphics in this game are good. When you blow up one of the Zentradi battleships the explode with a very Anime like explosion. But the battleship almost completely disingrates when it blows up. When your switching into the different modes it is very smooth and you actually see it fold. And when you strafe either left or right you see the booster light up and the legs move to the sides.  Good details.

Game Play- The game play in this game is very smooth. Well I think this should be a little easier since its rated E for Everyone. So I figure that kids will have a lot of difficulty finishing this game without cheats.  The controlls, flow together nicely.

Cheats- Well I personally like the cheats like when your guns are cool, faster and your missiles replenish quicker and one of my favorites invincibility. Well I couldn't beat one mission with out this one. Although the option to enter the cheats

Well all that I really need to say is that This game would have been easier and better if it were made fr macross plus!

This game is worth a rental, it can be very difficult for younger audiences.
