Taken By: The Fifth Element
Name: Damon Bryant
Age: Thirty-Seven
Courses: Homeroom; American/English Lit; World History
Song of Choice: Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin
History: There's not really a whole lot of drama to Damon's existence. He was born in Santa Monica to Marcus and Noreen Bryant in...well...37 years ago; he grew up there, had lots of love and good times, then he moved to NYC to go to Columbia on an academic scholarship, where he graduated from and received his masters in History, Literature and Philosophy. He has pretty much lived in NY most of his adult life and has enjoyed every second of it. He was basically made for the night life. Only 8 years out of college did he decide he wanted to try out his wings in the teaching field. Relating to the students in a different way than being the guy who'd possibly dated a lot of their single mothers was a good change for him, and it stuck. He stayed.
Personality: Damon's pretty laid-back, doesn't make a fuss about sh*t that isn't ultimately worth anything, which most sh*t isn't. He tells it like it is, he doesn't f*ck around, and if you're looking for someone who will let you wallow in your sorrows and appease your ego, don't come to him. Even though he is a bit stoic, he has a soft side that makes him quite balanced and fun to be around. He can make you laugh without being funny (intentionally), and he's always got an ear waiting should you want to talk into it. My kind of guy...
Extra Curricular Activities: Rock climbing, painting, working out, and eating...and collecting materials for making home-made bombs...oh wait...;
Current Tally: He should've been keeping track? Bah well. We'll say in the early teens. He had a very "memorable" childhood, and being the resident pretty boy of his neighborhood, there wasn't a whole lot of no's being thrown his way, no matter what the question was. He is, of course, a one-woman man...he's only with one woman at a time. He would like to eventually marry and settle down, but I did use the word eventually for a reason. He's not a player though -- he knows how to treat a lady; they just don't always know how to treat him, hence, the 'never settling down' bit. I know what you're thinking..."Well why the hell hasn't he come to visit ME yet???"
Target: Well, teaching for Damon had become therapeutic; he did it because he loved how it felt to impart knowledge to teenagers who didn't necessarily have that knowledge in the first place...plus, being in control catered to his somewhat gargantuan ego. So, that had been established then -- he taught because he loved the kids, in his own way...Okay then, now let's get down to why he really loved to teach: Victoria Wilkinson. Two words that fired off in his memory dates yet to be experienced, cups of coffee yet to be drank together in the teacher's lounge -- when it came to her, he wasn't afraid or embarrassed to admit to obsession, however mild or admirable. Of course, he enjoyed provoking her, and the witty banter they engaged in that showed its cynical face quite on the regular was a thrill in and of itself. But, he being a guy, he wants more. So, in addition to the banter and the flirting, he plans to make more-than-obvious attempts to gain her affection, hoping that she'll reject him -- because then there's something to chase after.

Name: Scott Noland
Age: Twenty-Three
Occupation/Course: Teacher's Assistant/English Lit.
Song of Choice: Got You Where I Want You - The Flys
History: Marcus and Bethany Noland were both born in Dearborn, MI some odd years ago. They grew up together being close friends through out elementary, high school and college, never dreaming that one day they'd get married and have three kids together...but they did. First came Joanna, now 34, then came Andrew, now 31, and Scott was the baby, the "unexpected one". Growing up, Scott's older siblings would always look out for him, wanting to do anything for him that they could instead of being embarrassed to have a little brother tagging along with them all the time. Once his brother and sister grew up and moved on with their own lives, Scott was pretty much left at home with his parents and the neighborhood kids at school. He did well most of his career, with the exception of a few suspensions here and there for pranks pulled by he and his "buddies". He graduated from high school with the rest of his class with an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.8, which helped in getting him into NYU, where he wanted to study to become a chemical engineer. Well, that dream died, and Scott found that science was boring now that he was faced with it being his life's calling. So, he switched gears completely and went the humanities route, focusing more on English and History-based subjects. Eventually he got his Bachelors in the Arts, then he stayed a few more years after having graduated early to receive his masters in English and Communication. Teaching had always been a sublevel inclination of his, so he figured he'd test his wings in that field...he wasn't cut out to be full-time, but he had no problem being under someone who did most of the work while he was left with handing out assignments and monitoring class exams. And so a TA he remains.
Personality: Scott's a wholesome, grounded, intelligent fellow. He has a rebellious streak that he had since tried to leave behind after his early years of high school, but it still comes out every now and then. He can be charming when he needs to be, authoritative and commandeering even if he doesn't. He's never lacking for confidence or self-awareness, but he knows his limits, which tends to keep his head from inflating too big. He also has a thriving reserve of wit and sarcasm that he loves to make use of on the regular.
Extra Curricular Activities: Playing pool, swimming, weight lifting
Current Tally: Ten or so -- keeping track was never huge in his world. He's kind of a "straight edge", so he doesn't make a big deal out of philandering about, sowing one's wild oats.

Name: Dylan StLuis.
Age: Thirty-Five
Grade: Literature Teacher.
Song of Choice: One Last Cry - Brian McKnight
History: Dylan had his life planned out beautifully. A hopeless romantic from the start of his high-school years, he meet Mary Donvale in Biology class and they remained a couple till the end of high school. They went their separate ways to after graduation, to different college. Both distraught by the separation, they lived most of their freshman year in exile it wasnt until the summer they both came home for thanksgiving that their relationship blossomed again. Mary put in a transfer to Dylans university and they both majored in the Arts. Both extremely happy Saturdays were usually occupied by picnics and the exchange of sonnets to each other and things went perfect for the four long and beautiful years at college. It was not until Valentines Day 1990 that Dylan asked Mary to marry him as they flew up in a hot air balloon. The overly joyed Mary said yes with no doubt in her mind that this was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. It wasnt until a hiccup in the marriage that everything went terribly wrong. When doctors realised that Dylan was enable to have children. Mary grew bitter, and soon the divorce papers where filed and she was to marry a rich lawyer from the city. As clich as the situation might sound, Dylan had to live a life of meaningless dates, because no one would ever compare to his fair Mary. He decided to do an extra post graduate degree in education and become a teacher and pass on his experience of love through the words of literature.
Personality: Hopeless romantic. Those are the two words that clearly describe Dylans personality. Or as the students like to call him Mr. StLuis. All the females in the class adore him. Their mouths agape, and their fingers are twist their hair as they listen to him read Shakespeare in his strong British accent. While this is going on, many of the males on the other hand dont understand the beauty escaping Mr StLuis mouth and choose to call him a fag or gay. Dylan is a very simple man, he finds satisfaction in teaching as it fills the void of being lonely without Mary. After work he comes home, cooks himself a simple dinner with a glass of a read wine and sits down in his small apartment with his pet dog Ruffus and completes the marking for the evening then makes his way to bed. His life is very rotational.
Editorial: He thinks the boys will stop once they fall in love. It is simple, every man is conquered by a loving woman.

Name: Gareth Tegan
Age: Forty
Grade: Teacher
History: Starting out in life Gareth was born to a 15 year old girl in the country side of Wales. Back then, times were different. Her parents didn't approve of the fact of her having a baby out of wedlock with a boy barely 18. The age alone made them unhappy...they forced a marriage on the two kids without much like from both parties. The father just graduated from high school when Gareth was born...his mother had to drop out of school to raise the baby they had. The family struggled to make end meet after that, but the babies one after one after one came till by the time Gareth was 18, he had eight younger siblings. That was then when he decided to leave the nest so speak. College came next in the states. He managed to pay for school working three jobs to cover tution. Four years later, he graduated with a degree in secondary education. At the age of 23 he got married. By the age of 35, he was divorced with three kids. Typical story...for the last five years he has been teaching History at New York Public High School.
Personality: Gareth is what you call a smart ass, even as a teacher. He has an aura of being wise beyond his years. Looking out for himself sometimes. At times, he come off bitter...others friendly as they come. It just depends on his mood. He is a teacher, but that doesn't mean he is perfect. Not by any means. He has his pit falls. He likes to have a drink or two. He enjoys a good curse word or two outside school walls. Sometimes he can even come off as looking out for number one. And he always goes with the winner.
Extra Curricular Activities: He is the advisor for the history club. Drinking. Listening to blue music. Sword collecting
Editorial: Life is too short. Sure, he was a young lad he had a bit of his fun times. But times are different. Diseases are more wide spread than ever. He just hopes those boys use some form of protection. And he bloody well knows when his daughters are teenagers, they better turn their heads the other way or he has a sword with their name on it especially for them. He knows how to use it big time to switch them from male to female in a heart beat.
Crush: Um, okay. He doesn't have crushes. He has attractions, but he isn't an idiot. Attraction is just that. Attraction. Look or more so glance, but never touch. Jail isn't what he wants to end up spending his golden years in.

Name: Victoria Wilkinson
Age: Thirty-Two
Courses: Biology and Chemistry
Song of Choice: Lies - Evanescence
History: Some say that people never change, but Victoria has changed for the better over the years. As a young child, she was basically a mimic, imitating everyones actions, and leaving her with no personality or sense of self. No one really thought anything was wrong Victoria. She was only a child. She knew what people liked, and she wanted to be admired. As a teenager, Victoria was the cheerleader stereotype: popular, but without two thoughts to string together. At least that's what her peers thought. Victoria didn't want to act smart, mostly because she believed that intelligence and popularity simply didn't go together. On the outside, Victoria pretended to be dumb and shallow, but her grades didn't reflect that. Of course, she always lied about them to her 'friends.' She kept this masquerade going until senior year. It took a boy to make her realized that her facade had, in fact, accomplished nothing. She coveted acceptance, and she got it, but from the wrong sort of people. She liked a guy that wasnt exactly on the high rung of the social ladder. But he was smart and funny, and Victoria admired that. She was torn between maintaining an image and this great guy. He made her see how superficial she was. Victoria managed to make her way in the world with a handle on who she was. She looks back on her past and criticizes her stupid and nave behavior. She doesnt want other students to make that mistake, so she became a teacher.
Personality: Until college, Victoria led a double life. At home, she spoke intelligently and with charm, but at school, she acted stupid and as crude as the rest of her peers. During her senior year, she showed her true personality. From then on, Victoria has always been genuine and honest, with herself and with others. Sometimes, shes a little too honest. She comes off as someone who has a personal vendetta against lies, and she tries to eliminate them completely, which isnt possible. She sometime scares people when she gets too passionate about the subject. When she isnt talking about honesty, Victoria is friendly, but she can be a little indifferent to people, which makes her hard to get to know. Shes become more cautious over the years and is wary of new people. She is practically a human lie detector. She's usually very clever and can be merciless when it comes to students' work. She has high expectations for everyone, including herself. She may appear uptight during school hours, but she lives a more loose nightlife. Victoria definitely surprises people in that way.
Extra Curricular Activities: Dancing, Tennis, Shopping, Singing
Editorial: Victoria is sure of these players existence, since shes encountered plenty of them. Living twenty eight years gains a little experience in the men department. Of course, she knows that they are still out there, even at her age. She finds the torrid love affairs in high school extremely amusing.
