Name: Danielle *Danny* Andrews
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Numb - Linkin Park
History: Unlike most kids who can tell you how their parents met, how they fell in love and how long it took before they were born in this world, Danielle can only respond with a silent pause and a change of subject. Seventeen years, five months and eight days ago, Danielle was left at the door of one of the wealthiest mansions of the big apple. There was no note, no explanation, and no single trace of her progenitors, just six months old Danielle interrupting the silence with her cries in the middle of the night. But if leaving the baby at this door had been an attempt to get the attention of the owners of the house, it failed miserably. Clarice and Jonathan Willington had left town just four hours earlier. The neighbors did hear the cries, however, and one phone call later the police arrived at the place and took the baby with them. Only five moths later, the search for the biological parents had been dropped and the six moths baby was officially adopted by Clarice and Trent Andrews. The couple had met eight years earlier, they were nineteen at the time, and attended one of the many parties held at the University they both went to. They didn't hook up that night, but there was an obvious attraction almost right away. They kept running into each other at campus, and it didn't take long to have the opportunity to get to know each other. To make a long story short, the happy couple fell in love, and married right after graduation. One year later the couple found out they would never be able to have children. Things weren't exactly the same after hearing the news. There were words never spoken, silent accusations and an almost imperceptible yet present new gap between the couple. There was a discussion about adopting a baby and a little girl that was brought home a year later. But perhaps it wasn't only the lack of children. Maybe the couple wasn't as close as they thought they were. Because, eventually, Trent wasn't eager to come home straight from work anymore and Clarice could always find a place to spend time when her husband was absent. And so, Danielle also began to notice subtle signals about Clarice. Empty bottles of bourbon at the house's mini bar, a cup filled with cognac at the family parties... Things that Danielle could always deal with, considering that this was after all, the family she had been born into. Except, when she found out that she had been adopted. It wasn't too long ago, and she is still trying to deal with it.
Personality: Numerous words come to mind when describing Danielle but few come close to describing the core of her personality. Intense, realistic and sincere are some of the most accurate words you could use. Danielle has never been the most popular girl around or the girl with the most perfect scores, but there has always been a constant aspect of her personality noticed by those who have gotten to know her closely. Danielle has spirit. She isn't the kind of girl to step back at the slightest sign of difficulty. She knows life isn't all rainbows and roses, but she can always try to get the best of it. She is intuitive by nature, or maybe by circumstances. She doesn't pay much attention to appearances since she has learned that the most significant of things can be found -in many occasions- under the surface. Her ways of seeing life can often be confused with cynicism, although Danielle doesn't think of herself as a cynic, but merely as an observant who tends to read between the lines and prefer to draw her own conclusions. There is very little that she does that comes out without her heart in it. But don't get the wrong idea, she is not a pushover. In fact, Danielle can be a bit defensive and aggressive sometimes, and no one can accuse her of not knowing how to take a stand. Although there are a few layers yet to be discovered since Danielle can be a friend but even them do not know everything about her. There are a few insecurities in Danielle preventing her from letting anyone become too close.
Extra Curricular Activities: Students Against Drunk Driving, Tutoring, Newspaper (photographer).
Editorial: When it comes to players, people could always point out the obvious detrimental facts involved in following and living by such behavior. There is nothing, of course, that can be praised when someone beds girls for the fun of it and dismiss them without a second thought. But that is only something that you can say. You can hate pollution, inflation, and politicians but they do not disappear. You have to live with them. From Danielle's point of view, if you dislike a player, just avoid them. If you know who they are and still let your self fall for their game then you are either plain dumb or simply a masochist.
Crush: When it comes to crushes, it would be accurate to affirm that, until this day, even Danielle's friends have had a hard find trying to find out where she exactly stands. She doesn't go around talking about it. Sure, she can give you a nod of her head if you happen to talk to her about your latest infatuation but she is not one to go around publicizing any names. Which doesn't mean she is not attracted to anyone. There are some guys who have made her turn her head in more than one occasion. In fact, if you paid enough attention, it probably wouldn't be so hard to come up with two names: Cameron Atler and Alexander James. But the name that would be practically impossible to find out is the one that has found a permanent spot in her psyche and has stayed for the longest time: Jorge Bertolini.

Name: Cameron Atler
Age: Nineteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Higher Ground - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
History: A psychologist would probably have a field day with Cameron Atler, not to mention get a trip to Cancun out of it as well. With a mother who skipped out on him at twelve (she went to pick up a pack of cigarettes and never came back), and the closest thing to a father figure when growing up working at an adult video store, its no wonder the kid isnt anymore screwed up than he already is. Cameron Atler is one of the few kids youll find wholl wear their Queens upbringing proudly. After all, its quite a long ways from the Park Place mansion grandeur he lounges around in lazily these days. Camerons father worked at an army depot during the day and tended bar at a local night club at night to cough up the money needed for food and rent. Cameron would stay with his neighbor: a bear bellied ex-hippy, mentally challenged after years of inhalants and municipal herbs. Cameron endeared a good sixteen years of this until the parents of a friend; the pity-filled good Samaritans that they were, got a birds eye view of the TV-dinner cluttered, mildew drenched degradation he was living in. The Dimeras, bless their humble hearts, offered to give Cameron a place to stay in their cellar turned den, which Cameron just shrugged off with a sure. What the Dimeras forgot to mention was the dens dwelling underneath one of Park Avenues three story gated Mansions, complete with a butler and two cooks. Needless to say, Cameron wasnt exactly complaining. Three years later with a position on staff as the pool boy (he gets paid pretty much to just lounge around and do nothing except fish leaves out with a net), and Cameron is still living off the Dimeras. His father probably still doesnt even notice hes gone, and his mother could be a Donna Summers impersonator for all he cares.
Personality: The one good thing about Cameron that you can always count on is his blunt, open-book nature. Cameron wont lie to you. If you ask him if you look fat in a dress, hell tell you. If your girlfriends cheating on you for the shmuck down the street who can barely spell his own name, hell tell you that too. It takes too much of an effort to lie to someone for one thing, and when it comes to the art of being lazy, Cameron has perfected it. Aside from often being too blunt for his own good and find a conspiracy in just about every little aspect of his life (though its mostly just for show), there are plenty of other reasons why Camerons not someone you want hanging around you. For one, hes not going to lend you a shoulder if you need some place to cry on. Chances are hell tell you to first, drink away your sorrows, then hell tell you to get over it. Hes also a little slow in regards to anything having to do with the romance department. Those guys that give their girlfriends generic shampoo for their first month anniversary? Yeah, thats Cameron.
Extra Curricular Activities: Cameron once tried to create an Anarchist club, but didnt get enough signatures. Needless to say, he's not really into anything "extra curricular".
Editorial: Cameron cant really say anything against them because hed be somewhat of a hypocrite. He likes girls. Hed be lying if he said he wouldnt mind having more than one. Hes just not the type to go out and purposely screw with one of them, partly because hes lazy, and partly because he doesnt see the point. Girls can be really annoying in case you havent noticed.
Crush: Optimistics would probably tell you that deep down in the seemingly most dense and callous of people, lies somewhat of a good heart. Or, you know, at the very least, some sensativity. Unfortunately for optimists, their hopes would be severely shattered if they ever met Cameron. He doesn't secretly have a nice side, just like there are no walls built just waiting for some patient girl to come along and tear down. Cameron's not only completely oblivious to the many dreamy sighs emitted in his presense, but he probably wouldn't care if he did know. That doesn't mean, however, that he'd shun any member of the opposite sex. They're always welcome, because he is after all, a guy. With hormones no less. And a lot of them. So, in case you haven't figured, Cameron doesn't have a crush. He does, however, enjoy annoying the hell out of his best friend's little sister, Cherry Dimera. No one has perfected the art of scowling better.

Name: Brooke Belmont
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: My Skin Natalie Merchant
History: To understand Brooke one has to understand her past, her family, the people she came from. Nobody told Brooke her life could be perfect, they told her it would be perfect at all costs. Some people wonder how parents couldn't love their own children, so many chose to not believe the truth. Brooke isn't one of those people though, for she witnessed it first hand. Her parents were never the best people. Rich, Stubborn, and Selfish they decided to have a children for the sake of being respected by those who have children. Brooke was the only child. Her father and mother both sleep around, they are only together to show the facade of family to the people in their rich society. Hell, Brooke doesn't even know if her father is her real father. Instead of raising her, caring for her, and loving her they threw her into boarding school, and every little thing they could get their hands on. They wanted their daughter to be perfect, they wanted everyone to see how perfect their daughter would grow up to be, Brooke still naive and shy did as she was told. She did everything they wanted to and she tried her hardest to gain her parents approval. However, nothing she did was ever enough. She grew cold inside and out, she changed herself as fast as most people changed their clothes. She was turning into her mother. As Brooke rebelled and changed her attitude as well as her sophistication. She tried doing things the way her mother wanted her to, still it was never enough. Her father didn't really want anything to do with it, he let her mother deal with Brooke while he was off seducing his latest victim. Her mother still criticizes her and tells how she is doing everything all wrong. Brooke trys not to let her get to her, and instead she blocks her out without even realizing she is still dreaming of the day when she will have her mothers approval. Brooke turned into a manipulative, seductive, unsatisfied girl. She always says she always gets what she wants, but in reality will she ever get what she really wants?
Personality: Brooke is not exactly your average girl. She has to play a little bit of both sides, the b*tch and the goody good. Shes learned in her years of experience in order to accomplish her goals she most play different parts. Shes an actress, she knows how to fool people, and she knows how to gain peoples trust. Its all in the attitude. One thing Brooke has never lacked is confidence, or so every one believes. In her world with everyone else she appears to be this confident girl who would never dare doubt herself. Yet when shes alone, she may be lacking in both confidence as well as satisfaction. Brooke never seems to be really satisfied, maybe she got that from her mother. She's calm and usually pretty patient. She believes you can't change someone in one night, just like you can't plant a seed and expect a flower the very next day. Everything takes time, even though shes had times where her targets were just way to simple for her liking. She likes a challenge, yet its hard for her to find one these days since she is so damn good at what she does. Brooke has always been very clever. Her parents started her in school earlier then most of the other students, they wanted to impress people. It worked too, because if they hadn't put her in early, she'd be a junior right now. Shes one of the top students in her school. She seems to excel in everything she does, everything she touches turns to gold. She likes to have a good time, she likes sex, but most of all she loves a challenge. Acting like Mary Sunshine 24 hours a day seven days a week isn't easy, but its something she does.
Extra Curricular Activities: Student Council, Dance Team, Drama, and she writes for the school paper.
Current Tally: Brooke's not a whore, by all means shes a girl who loves to have sex, but shes not one to give it away unless she is really just in the mood plain and simple. Sex isn't really anything to her, its just something constant in her life. Making poor innocent men fall head over heals in love with her is something that comes oh so natural. She isn't one to tally her successes, she believes those who do are quite ridiculous and people she'd rather not associate with, she finds them immature, yet she still is surronded by them. If she'd have to pinpoint her tally it would be somewhere between eight and sixteen or something like that, to tell you the truth she doesn't even have a clue.

Name: Jorge Bertolini
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: --
History: Sofia Bertolini never really listened to what her parents had to say. They seemed to have two favourite topics to talk at her about. School and boys. It seemed to often go along the lines of 'Do you work, don't hang around with that boy from down the street.' Did she listen? Not really. Except she did get bored of that boy from down the street after a few weeks and left him. Unfortunately it took her about a day to find a replacement. Obviously her parents weren't happy. They were less happy when she was found climbing out of the window. It soon became apparent that Sofia was pregnant. And seventeen. Also that the list of men that might be the father was longer than anyone really expected. Mrs Bertolini almost had a heart attack. After more tears than anyone can remember a conclusion was drawn. Sofia didn't want to climb out the window. And that's the story of how Jorge Bertolini came to be. While his mother was capable to look after her son, it was decided that if she didn't go and get herself an education she might be living at home for a very long time. So Jorge was raised by his grandparents for the first few years of his life. When his mother seemed ready he was handed over. And it's no surprise that the seventeen year old Sofia Bertolini isn't that different from the thirty-five year old Sofia Bertolini. But Jorge has got used to the various men that seem to appear at his house. As long as he doesn't have to call any of them dad.
Personality: Jorge dislikes being called nice. It's a label that after years he has done his best to try and remove. But it keeps on coming back. Jorge Bertolini is a nice guy. He's a good friend. He's a smart kid. Jorge Bertolini often wishes he had a little more edge, that he was something else. But every attempt to do this fails. He either hates himself for lying, or tries to undertake a stupid task, that he knew he would never complete, in order to sabotage his own plans. And it's a shame that Jorge feels this way because he's good at being the nice guy. That's the only reason he's managed to get through eighteen years without failing from grace, because no one really likes those excessively nice people. Jorge doesn't even like those excessively nice people. Because that's important to remember. However nice Jorge may be he's not willing to treat everyone the same. Obviously there are certain people that deserve a smile and others who just deserve mud kicked in their face. Only Jorge would never kick mud. he'd just think about it a little. What I'm trying to say is that while he might be willing to do a few meaningless task for a friend, he's not a push-over. You can't just stroll up to him, after years of ignoring him, and expect him to give you the homework answers. There's a difference between nice and stupid. Jorge isn't the latter.
Extra Curricular Activities: National Honors Society, Student Council, History Club.
Editorial: Jorge doesn't really know what to think about anyone who calls themselves a 'player'. He knows that he doesn't like the term. It makes him think of sport, and that just makes him uncomfortable. But even when he tries to condemn it he often finds that he doesn't want to. There's a little part of him that is almost in awe of them. But then is that even a surprise? There aren't really that many eighteen year old boys who would complain about sleeping with beautiful women. The only problem really seems to arise when the game is over. And that's why Jorge doesn't play.

Name: Sidalie Bradford
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice:
What You Are - Drill
History: Brendan Bradford was easily one of his high schools biggest heartthrobs, and the fact that he pretended not to notice made it all that much bigger of a turn on. When Lydia Rosenberg moved to Tampa Bay high school her senior year, Brendan never even registered a blip on her radar. Relentless pursuing changed all this, and it wasnt before long that she became a permanent fixture stumbling in and out of his bed. When the two realized there was a lot more than just the whole friends with benefits package going on, they decided to throw in the towel and try their hand at dating. It worked, for a while. But when Brendan wanted Lydias heart, the independent in her held back, and he broke up with her. On prom night no less, the dirty bastard. She ended up spending the rest of the night with another close friend of hers, and when word leaked out they had slept together later that night, Brendan, Tampa Bays prom king mind you, let his heart grow bitter. The two separated ways after high school, and it wouldnt be another two years till they met up by pure coincidence at the same college. A stubborn and resentful Brendan held himself back from making a new start with Lydia, but in the end, what can I say? Love prevailed, and the two got over themselves long enough to work at building their relationship up again. Its now twenty-two years later, and Brendan, a successful Record Label owner couldnt be anymore in love with his wife. Both still speak fondly of their many beach liaisons under the sunsets and sunrises all across the world. The two are so much in love that one could argue, they occasionally forget their love produced two daughters. Sidalie, and her younger sister by a year, Jules. Whenever Brendans out promoting a new musician or band (which is often), his wife isnt usually too far in tow, assuming she can find time to tear herself away from her own independently run line of work. Sidalies not unaccustomed to arriving home to an empty house, and the relationship she shares with her sister is barely even there. Shes grown used to it though, and has long since stopped complaining.
Personality: At face value, Sidalie Bradford is about as innocent as they come. Having only been kissed once on a dare in eighth grade, its really no surprise that her perception of love has remained relatively unjaded and unaltered for all eighteen years of her life. Every bit the dreaming optimistic, Sidalie wears her heart on her sleeve and trusts openly. Nothing about her is fabricated. Shes always believed that good things come to those who wait, and Sidalie is easily one of the most patient people on the planet. She views the world through rose tinted glasses, truly believing that behind every dark cloud is a silver lining and that there really is good in everybody, its just that you have to search a little deeper in some. Despite, or perhaps even in spite of her chaste and virtuous nature, Sidalies not the goody-goody everybodys quick to assume. Theres a stack of Victorias Secret catalogs that rest just at the side of her bed and a drawer of dark, lacy lingerie shes waiting to wear for just the right occasion. Perhaps the most incriminating evidence is her leather-bound journal, chalk full of detailed fantasies of her one true hearts desire and keeper of her innermost, and not always pure, thoughts.
Extra Curricular Activities: Theater and Honors Choir
Editorial: The idea that there was even one person out there in the world who find pleasure in the betrayal of another person is disturbing to say the least. She still refuses to believe that all hope is lost though. Shes certainly not out to save the whole world, but that doesnt mean one person cant be helped in seeing the error in their ways. Sometimes it just takes the right person to come along.
Crush: One might assume that Sidalie Bradford was far more consumed with her studies and choir to ever concern herself with the very fine specimen of boys surrounding her. While there may be some truth to this, there is also the one exception: Benjamin Reeves. What can she say? Good girls are notorious for falling for the boys they shouldn't, but Sidalie would bet her life that there's more behind the blunt and tough faade he upholds. And if anyone ever discovered the true extent to her feelings (it's all drawn out, detail by detail in a little brown leather clad journal), they'd probably suggest therapy, as this "little crush" is actually quite extreme. No one knows of this, of course, except for Elgin Robertson, whom she's been hanging around with a lot more as of late. Could their be hidden feelings blossoming unbeknownst to even Sidalie? It's doubtful, as even her eyes will not allow her to betray her feelings.

Taken By: Age Six Racer
Name: Charlie Brown
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice:
History: People claim that a name can reveal a great deal about a person, such as their nationality, their personality, but most of all, what kind of family they come from. Some people are fortunate, and are given names that reflect beauty, intelligence and happen to flow nicely. Other people are not so lucky, and end up with names that make others cringe just at the sound of it. But then there are those select few who are in a category of their own - the ones who share their name with eminent television characters. Why? Blame the parents. When Davey Brown and Jill Turner met, society was in the midst of its revolution, and with the commencement of the 70s, people had dropped the customary ways of living and instead, had implemented a new individualist way of life. It was no surprise that these two met doing something that become so influential in that era - listening to music. As the last few chords of Lynard Skynard's, Tuesday's Gone rocked an awestruck audience, Davey and Jill saw each other for the first time, and despite the influence of drugs and alcohol, it was love at first sight. The two of them spent the rest of the night together, preaching strong words of activism, and advocating love, beauty, and peace . Basically it was two hippies doing what they did best. From that night on they were rarely apart, and within three months they were married. Flash forward into the mid eighties. Most people had dropped the drugs and had started to live more conservatively, but as proven before, Davey and Jill were not like most people. Still believing that the 70s would live on, they took a new approach to living, where 'sex, drugs, and rock and roll' had never stopped being the bottom line. This approach would leave Jill pregnant, and nine months later, the Brown's welcomed their first and only child into their world. Jill wanted to name him 'Rain' or something very hippy-ish, like Michael Rainbow. However, Davey, under the influence of the some type of drug, decided to name him Charlie, finding it rather amusing that his son would have the same name as a bald-headed little boy. And so began the life of Charlie Brown. While growing up, his parents preached to him the importance of love and peace, which, needless to say, never quite sat well with him. He was a very spiteful child, who would go out of his way just to piss his parents off. Even now, after officially reaching the age of adulthood, things haven't changed at all. His parents are still the same tree hugging, anti-war activists that they have always been, while Charlie maintains his belief that he was adopted.
Personality: For most people, first impressions are never reliable, and are merely judgmental and inaccurate. Usually you have to get to know the person, and only then can you make a fair assessment of their character. However, with Charlie, 9 times out of 10, what you see is what you get. There is no knight in shining armor hiding underneath his hostile nature, waiting to help the first person in need. Instead, what you get is a typical teen full of angst, oblivious to any good in the world. If you ask his classmates what they think of Charlie, they will either reply with, "Who?" or "Oh yeah, that kid who never goes to class." A true rebel for his time, Charlie rages against society, and rules that have been forced upon him for the past eighteen years. Inheriting his hatred for conformity from his parents, he abides by his own rules, and refuses to be a pawn in life. When in the presence of others, he isn't afraid to speak his mind, even if it means making a few enemies. His peers would argue that he just lazy and lacks effort to be productive, but Charlie is simply the type of guy whose pessimistic outlook on life offsets any possible optimism. Standoffish and impassive, he doesn't like getting close to people, and forming any type of connection with them. That's not to say that he doesn't have friends - he does, but he doesn't exactly share his dreams and desires with them. However, there still remains that 1 out of 10 chance that Charlie will surprise you, and act like a decent guy. Though it's rare, he can be a congenial person, with a relatively sweet nature, depending on who he's with. But don't hold your breath, it's not likely.
Extra Curricular Activities: None. There's some rule that in order to be a part of any clubs or teams, you need to actually attend school on a daily basis. And well, Charlie isn't about to change his ways to spend more time at a place he hates.
Editorial: Charlie tries not to devote too much thought to these so-called players, most of which have become his enemies over the past four years. He finds it slightly ridiculous that people would call themselves players, yet is amused by the fact that most of them will end up divorced and broke by the time they're 25. He really doesn't care what they do, because technically, they wouldn't be players if girls weren't so easy and dim-witted these days.
Crush: At the end of his junior year, Charlie basically lost faith in the entire female population at New York Public School. Every girl he came in contact with either based her reputation on wearing short skirts and no bra, or was a complete idiot who uttered phrases such as, "like totally", "biatch" and "whatever" far too much for his liking. He was starting to see a pattern - the older he got, the more superficial they became. Devoting the slightest bit of attention to any girl seemed pointless, because in the end they all turned out to be the exact same. He's not one to stereotype, nor is he the type of guy to 'judge a book by its cover', but he's reached the point where he won't even pick up the damn book anymore. Up until about a week and a half ago he was confident he was going to remain single his senior year, which needless to say he did not have a problem with. What he didn't expect though was for Bryony Lockwood to enter his life. Well technically she isn't in his life, nor have they ever spoken, but that doesn't matter. Now that he's being forced to make up a Communications credit at the school radio, he has a feeling he'll be seeing a lot more of her. However, don't think that he's fallen head over heels for her, or that he's going to make a move the first chance he gets. She intrigues him, and being the first girl who has done that makes her deserving of special attention.

Name: Blair Byrne
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: --
History: Samuel Byrne didn't know that he was going to marry Ann Engdahl. In fact on their first meeting he had decided that she was snob, and she couldn't remember his name. It didn't seem to matter because their paths didn't cross until five years later. And even then it took Samuel at least five months to confess to Ann that they had met before. But he still married her. At this point they were still young enough to get it into their head that they wanted to travel the world. So did. Unfortunately it seems that foreign condoms aren't all they're cracked up to be and in some Eastern European country Ann became pregnant. Surely they couldn't carry on with their world exploring if Ann was with child? Well they did. So Blair's eldest brother Daniel was born in what can only be described as a hell hole hospital in some country that probably doesn't exist anymore. Because Samuel and Ann were just so intelligent Ann seemed to be become pregnant almost straight after giving birth to Daniel. But she had learnt her lesson and Blair's second brother was born in Sweden. It's much cleaner in Sweden. Blair herself came along pretty soon after that, and Samuel and Ann were left with three small child, all under three years old. Let's settle down, they thought to themselves. So they did. But they were still in Europe. They tired of this quickly and decided that they might even be missing home at this point. So they went home. The children were still no older than eight at this point. Except still they seemed to have itchy feet. So one state quickly turned to another. Until New York was mentioned. It seemed that they liked it. Which was good. So there has been no more moving. Except that Daniel's living in Albania right now.
Personality: It's the clich, of course. There's always this tiny girl who enjoys nothing more than be one of the boys. So much so that most people are quite surprised when at thirteen she begins to develop breasts. Blair was that child. And while you're much less likely to mistake her for a boy nowadays, her attitude hasn't really changed that much. She wears clothes because it's considered in bad taste to walk around naked. She'd rather shoot herself than sit down in front of the O.C. and instead considers a day incomplete if she hasn't seen some kind of sport of the television. Hockey's good. It won't be a surprise for most to discover that a vast majority of Blair's friends are male, and that after seventeen years she has been embraced as being 'one of the boys.' Oddly enough there are personality traits that come with this. Like the fact that she actually find toilet humour funny. So very funny. Along with that is the fact that it seems awfully hard to embarrass Blair. To be blunt, she couldn't really care less. She would definitely never be described as over-sensitive and with that comes it own set of flaws. Because she doesn't have a penis she often find herself in stupid situations almost to prove herself that she can still be part of the gang. She'll pull the stupid pranks. She'll probably come up with the idea for the stupid pranks too. But then no one ever gets hurt, so how much can it matter?
Extra Curricular Activities: Volleyball, Soccer, Track
Editorial: No one is going to embrace what happens in every school that Blair has ever had the pleasure of attending. But it just seems to be the staple of high school life. Of course, they're still idiots. Stupidly attractive idiots, but that's not the point, is it? But then every time she tries to put all the blame of them she ends up hearing a voice in the back of her head, that sounds oddly like her grandmother, telling her 'that it takes two to tango.' And while that may be the first sign of insanity Blair would have to agree with the words of a dead woman. These boys aren't sleeping with themselves, you know.
Crush: Upon asking most people who they like the answer is quite often, 'no one.' One the whole this is a lie, and there's always somebody. Just somebody that you weren't suppose to know about. Blair will always claim that there has never been anyone who she thinks of in a vaguely sexual way and very rarely does anyone believe her. Except at the moment, it's true. Yep, there is no one that makes Blair's heartbeat quicken, there is no one who gaze she follows around the room. This complete lack of attraction let to an interesting month or two, last year where Blair had convinced herself that she must be a lesbian. Until she realised that she didn't really find very many women attractive either. But at the moment, shes happy that there is no one. She's seen high school relationships fall to pieces in front of her, and she doesn't want to be in a similar situation. Maybe they'll never be anything attractive about people when you seen them everyday for far too long.

Name: Estella *Stella* Corbin
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice:
History: Luxury. It's not something the Corbin family desires, it's practically their life. Fiona and Duncan Corbin met during college. The two business majors sat down at dinner one night over pasta and hatched their ingenious idea; Corbin Luxury Services. A company that acts as a personal assistant for the rich and famous. With Fiona's dynamic personality and intense attention to detail, and Duncan's family name and innate business sense, the business skyrocketed within months. The business continued to grow, and now has a total of ten offices world-wide. The tasks performed by the employees are limitless; whether it be baby-sitting a poodle, finding a house in the French Riviera, or picking out outfits for award shows. The Corbin family is not exactly what you might refer to as "normal." Though they are very much power players in New York City, the idea of being the ones in the spotlight never appealed much to Fiona and Duncan, and they've shielded themselves from it since the beginning. Three years after the company was founded, Estella was born. With the overwhelming success of their company, the family of three was decidedly content staying that way, and she was their only child. Being the only daughter of two self-made millionaires, Stella was given only the best since the day she was born. Was she spoiled? Of course; she still is. She's become accustomed to the best, and expects nothing less; a trait that can get a person in trouble now and then. Ask her, and she'll tell you her childhood was nothing special, and she'll say it in a dismissive tone, but to most of us, sitting next to movie stars at the Academy Awards is not an every day occurrence.
Personality: Estella Corbin; ask her classmates what they think of after hearing her name, and you'll get a wide variety of responses. She'd never describe herself as intimidating, but that's exactly what most people feel, yet refuse to admit. Stella is smart. She might play dumb or unaware occasionally to her advantage, but she is very aware of the people around her, and the affect she often has on them. Manipulative is also a word that might be used, but not one she'd admit aloud. While deceit is not a tactic she uses or relies upon, she knows that she can hold power over just about anyone with a carefully crafted statement. She thrives on power, and generally knows how to get it. Her parents and teachers honestly believe she is the nearly perfect, strait-A student she appears to be. Her record is spotless and she intends to keep it that way, staring each obstacle she faces right in the eyes. Revenge is key; it's an eye for an eye with Stella, and she has no qualms about making it public knowledge. While some people are bitchy just for the pure enjoyment of making people squirm, Stella has turned it into an art form, which is mostly tucked away until she finds a need to use it. Until then, she's not quite as cruel as people might make her out to be.
Extra Curricular Activities: Senior Class President, Key Club, Editorial, and Varsity Volleyball.
Editorial: After four years of the same bullsh*t, she can spot them from a mile away. Frankly, she doesn't care either way at this point. She's smart enough to never have gotten hurt by their games, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been a participant. Crush:

Name: Catherine ( Cate ) Delmar
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Queen - Queen
History: For Emilia Delmar, life was not as easy as it should have been, given the lavish surroundings that were at her feet and the affection of friends and family alike. Her father was one of the wealthiest men on the Eastern seaboard and had always dreamt of having a little girl to call his own, yet, Emmy was more of a burden than a dream, and for this, he dreaded her very presence. At the meager age of twenty-one, a mercy marriage was planned to push her out of the household and put her in the charge of another man that would be more caring to her cause. Daniel Winslow, a lawyer seeking out a partnership with her father, was quick to accept the challenge - not realizing that the woman to become his wife was less than interested in being with him for the rest of her life. The night before the nuptials, she cleaned out her bank account and set out on her own, yet to reunite with her family. Emilia found out she was pregnant after making her way through the city, doing what pleased her and when she wanted to. Her twin daughters, Catherine and Audrina, were the result. Undeniably close from having made their way without assistance, life seemed near perfect until two summers ago when the close knit family of three became a distanced duo of mother and daughter, and the gentle girl Cate was turned three-sixty and she has never looked back.
Personality: Strongwilled and determined to match, she seeks out what she wants in life and goes after it with every bit of her being, whether it be achieving perfect grades or finding a date for a party on Friday night. Cate does what she wants, but could hardly be considered a wild child, for everything she does is structured and planned out to a tee. The order in which she keeps her life is deceiving, as her world hasn't been right since losing her twin sister, which causes her to smother her personality underneath the different facets of the world she seemed to have missed out on without Audrina there to throw out the routine she's always latched onto.
Extracurricular Activities: Art Club. Varsity Girls' Basketball, captain.
Editorial: She doesn't reflect upon the events of her own life as it is and goes on to do whatever she feels, regret never coming into play. Therefore, why would what someone else does impact her? Cate is a firm believer in live and let live, though much of her philosophy works simply for being as hardened as she is.
Crush: Before her sister was taken away from her, Audrina always had an eye for suave ladies' man, Hayden O'Connor. She found him to be the most attractive that the city had to offer, but after she was gone, Cate forced herself to look upon him with her twin's viewpoint. Finding the good in him was harder than she thought and has still yet to find any reason why girls seem to love him, though she is quick to keep the pretense up about having quite the infatuation with him. In fact, the only remotely interesting bit about him is his twin sister, Brayden O'Connor, good and bad rolled into one beautiful package. Cate has had a candle lit for the Masterpiece dancer for what feels like years, though she always believed her sexuality was no different from anyone else, and her infatuation with Brayden was just a secret hope to gain her friendship. However, the older she gets - the more obvious her true feelings become.

Name: Cherry Dimera
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: So Beautiful - Pete Murray
History: Cherry, a unique name if you think about it. She is convinced her parents gave it to her when they were drinking too much, but her parents beg to differ. They were drinking a cherry chardonnay when they were thinking of names for the newest member of the family, and decided on Cherry because they thought it would be creative and different, but they didnt realize the excessive mockery that she would receive from having a name that was more fitted for a stripper downtown. Once you get passed the fact her parents are bad at picking names, you realize the Dimeras are very family orientated and loving. Some might even go as far as to call them picture perfect. They are very well off in life, but Cherry didnt know any different until a new member joined their family. Cameron, she was reluctant to accept him in the family to start off, but then her morals kicked in and he grew on her. She still doesnt like the fact she has to live with two men now. Overall, she is happy with her family and life which people find disturbing and abnormal, she is meant to throwing chairs at her family like most normal teenagers.
Personality: Beautiful. Stunning. Extraordinary. Intelligent and witty. Well thats how Cherry likes to describe herself. On the other hand, most people including her brother find her jaded and spoilt, but people cant blame her for being this way. Shes been raised in an extravagant area, with a well off family. Most people mistake Cherry as a bitch. The problem is she isnt, but she can to be blunt when it comes to matters she is passionate about. She is very stubborn and there is no swaying her opinion, when she believes she is right, shell stick to the argument like crazy glue until you agree with her.
Extra Curricular Activities: Dance, Cheer squad, Student Council [Vice President], Drama, Charity Bake Sales and she actually enjoys extra curricular.
Editorial: She would like to use every profane word possible to describe them, but she will remain calm. Basically, she thinks its the biggest load of bull on the planet because inevitably the tables will turn.
Crush: Jealous? Cherry? Never. Well even her best friend even knows thats a lie. There is one guy that she cant get out of her head even though he annoys her with a passion and she insists on bantering with him whenever they talk. She likes to pretend that she is too good for him even though deep down inside she knows its not true. This one guy happens to be Cameron Alter, her brothers best friend, her pool boy,and the guy that lives under her bedroom. Shell occasionally drop a pencil in calculus just to stare at him or she'd go out to the pool and watch him sweep up the leaves while pretending to be concentrating on doing her laps. Even though she sees him everyday and every night, there is something inside of her that is intrigued by him. Back to the jealously part, Cameron is the type of guy that is loved by girls, even if he doesnt realise it, but Cherry sees it, its his dark history and edgy looks. Every time he happens to have a girl over, Cherry's eyes are glued on them. She does it in a subtle manner so no one notices. Shes become an expert in the art of glaring, there is a glare for each thing a girl does when shes around Cameron. A whisper, a giggle, a touch of an arm and even a subtle look can make Cherrys eyes grow smaller and form one of her famous glares. She doesnt make it obvious to Cameron and sometimes she doesn't mean to do it. The one person that can tell is Chandler, even though Cherry denys it everytime Chandler asks.

Name: Isola Espinosa
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Slow Down The Motorhomes
History: Sandra and Homer Winthrop married in 1982 in a tiny little church in Oklahoma. By that time they had already lived together for six years, so it was about time they got to business, as they called it. One year later they had a son, James, who was raised as the perfect child he was. James did well in school, he was athletic and managed to get good grades. Three years later the married couple also had a daughter, Isola. Isola was almost as perfect as James, but didnt really live up to the hopes and dreams of her parents. Sandra, a very harsh and dominant mother, not very loving at all, put her children through enormous pressure to get them to succeed. Homer was a bit more laid-back. Actually, more like a coward. He didnt approve of the way Sandra raised their children, but was too afraid and/or lazy to do something about it. One year and three months ago, the constant pressure from his family finally got to James, who hung himself in the basement. It was Isola who found him, which made her completely turn against her parents, resulting in a divorce from them. Followed by that, she took her grandmothers last name, Espinosa, and moved out of the Winthrop house to her own place. Its tiny, its not even remotely central, but it is good enough for her. The death of her brother also led to Isola more or less giving up school. She used to be at the top of her class, but if the trend continues shell have a hard time even graduating. All shes really taking any interest in as of now, is writing. Isola doesnt plan on ever talking to either of her parents, ever again. She hates them like they were diseases, but she cant help but feeling guilty herself for not helping her brother before it was too late. In a way that might be why shes more or less stopped studying; school and demands was what brought her brother down, and therefore it will not by any chance bring her down as well. Shes doing this for her brother...or thats what she likes to believe.
Personality: And now we fade out fast to the blackout / And we are heading for our Isola / And then we fade out fast to the blackout / We fade as fast as we fall / We fall. Isola is the Italian word for island, and that is exactly how Isola herself likes to put it. Shes the remote location, the paradise or the hell, where the surrounding world doesnt matter. Or to put it another way; shes the last person to trust. When the world around her is failing and disappointing her, she still has her own location, her secret place that is herself. Well wire you up and take your pulse / Far away from any of the pain this dulls. Distant. Just as the island her name describes, Isola is quite distant. Shes an observer, she prefers to sit outside the crowd and listen instead of taking part in conversations herself. Maybe that has something to do with her family, maybe not. Maybe shes like this by nature. Difficult to get around, hard to place in any sort of stereotype folder, but still confident and well-meaning. Shes a chameleon and only wants to fit in a somewhat smooth way. The less attention she gets, the happier she is. Shy wouldnt be the right word to describe her, but silent would probably work nicely. Calm and collected, despite her somewhat (in)famous outbursts of rage which shows unexpectedly at times. Its one of a thousand ways / To see right through you dear. Shes not hostile or in any way a loner, only careful with whom she opens up to. Just like shes equally careful not to step on anyones toes or upsetting people for no reason.
Extra Curricular Activities: None anymore, except occasional guest writing in the newspaper.
Editorial: Hmm, right...players. They live life, and if this is the way they choose to do it, then may so be. Its not like theyre forcing themselves on the girls anyway. The ones getting played by these people are (or should be) fully aware that there are such people as players, and with that in mind...tough luck. There are far worse things happening around the world to worry about misguided fools getting hurt by the creatures of doom...or what was it again? Most girls around this school really have themselves to blame, but obviously some do get hurt without deserving it, which is a shame. Stay away from high school boys is the advice Isola would give you, but most likely that wasnt news to anyone.

Name: Skylar Hayward
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice:
History: Growing up in a small sleepy town in Massachusetts, Kathryn Reid had it made. Her father was a lawyer in town, and her mother ran the only pediatrician's office in the area. By normal standards, they were very well off. Their house was picture perfect. They had Martha Stewart-esque meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas, complete with the photos of every smiling cheerfully and the table set to perfection, with a large golden turkey ready to be carved by Kathryn's father in the middle. It never occurred to them that anything as trivial as a Kathryn's crush on her senior English teacher would bring the Reid family down in flames. However, this is exactly what happened. Kathryn's crush on the young fresh-out of college John Hayward soon had blossomed into something more, like into after school chats, or rather, make-out sessions. It would have all been alright, if Kathryn hadn't gotten pregnant six months before her set graduation. When she told her parents, the Reids were completely devasted. She was immediately packed up and sent away to New York, where she could have and raise the baby without anyone in town discovering the dirty little secret, that would later be named Skylar. John was fired, of course, but his love for Kathryn made him follow to New York a few weeks later. The two eventually got married, but it wasn't a match made in heaven. Six years later, it all ended in divorce. John is still around in Skylar's life, as he is only a ten minute drive away. Kathryn's parents still have yet to truly make ammends with their daughter and granddaughter.
Personality: Most of the time to Skylar, she wishes she could hide forever in the yellow painted room she has at home. It is brighter there, and she feels safe and secure. She despises the people that attend New York Public. It is dark and dirty, and the hallways scream of the lies and manipulation that goes on there. She spends a majority of class time plotting of how she could make each of them suffer, but would never consider going through with it. She is quiet, most might say recluse, because she is the one sitting in the back observing, not making the speeches. In fact, she could easily make a fortune with all the juicy details she knows about the people that attend her school. It is amazing what you can learn from just sitting back and watching. Annoyed by people and things, the other students often times mistake her sarcastic attitude as nothing more than a bitch who just needs to get laid. In reality, she isn't a bitch. In fact, Skylar is more than anything vulnerable, and wants to be accepted for who she is. But, that seems impossible to find in any high school, so she is better off eating alone in the cafeteria than surrounded by idiots that will just never understand her.
Extra Curricular Activities: None.
Editorial: The fact that they find joy in this, just proves her point that all guys attending New York Public are essentially morons. Unlike the swooning underclassmen, Skylar just doesn't get what is so attractive about any of the guys grouped into this catergory. It amazes her they even find girls to have sex with; most of them need haircuts.
Crush: Skylar definitely thinks high school romance is for morons and sappy endings to teen movies. Because these things never turn out well, and the people breaking up daily at New York Public is a prime example of this. She has no intention of ever being caught up in any of that crap. This mainly means Skylar is not looking for a serious relationship, and for the most part doesn't look twice at the guys in school.

Song of Choice: Believe In What You Want -Jimmy Eat World
History: If the story of Peg and Ted has any lesson, its that even nerds can find love. Meeting their freshman year of college these two science majors found the true meaning of chemistry through one another and the most awkward courtship imaginable ensued. When she wasnt in the lab dissecting and he wasnt busy with reacting elements, they could be found with one another. Shed blush as he stuttered, hed smile when she snortedthe relationship found a balance that worked and has worked for the past twenty-seven years. Actually capable of saying that his father is a rocket scientist, excelling in academics was a trait passed on to their two sons but the gene of social defectiveness is fortunately not something that the James boys share with dear old mom and dad. With their father being strict and their mother being paranoid about who they might impregnate, the rules within the James house stifle in a way that leads to a natural path of rebellion which both Xander and his older brother Heath have taken. While Heath has succeeded in getting himself arrested (hes currently serving a two year sentence), Xander has never been quite as unruly. While hes completely likely to climb through windows, he wont break them and while his parents believe in firm regulations, they often find themselves relenting in the case of their youngest son.
Personality: The closest archetype that comes to fitting Xander would probably be that of the reformed bad boy, yet much of his behavior continues to be that of a rebellious teenager. To find a typical high school stereotype to fit Xander is virtually impossible as his good grades and underachieving ways contradict, as does his old reputation and current demeanor. Hes a nice guy, but not necessarily good enough that youd want him to meet your parents. Hes a jerk when hes only trying to be honest and one of the few reliable shoulders that can be cried on at the same time. The sort that cannot be easily hated or effortlessly loved, Xander would be colored gray in a world of black and white. Some things about him are simply a given; his reverence of cars, Pamelas Andersons surgeon and girls in general is obvious. Yet underlying facts of moral integrity and genuine concern are not so blatant. Rather the designated driver than the life of the party, Xander is rarely a sinner yet never a saint.
Extra Curricular Activities: VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)
Editorial: If you cant tell by the fact that he slaps greetings with a good half of their ranks or that his name continues to be fading graffiti next to choice words in many of the girls bathrooms, Xander James used to be a so-called player. His prowess with the ladies may not have altogether disappeared, yet his general demeanor and treatment of them has changed. Rather than breaking hearts, he offers tissues. What caused this in the course of one school year? Xander made the mistake for actually falling for someone and by being subjected to that pain, he discovered a distaste for inflicting such a hurt on others. This isnt to say he doesnt still get laid. He does. He just tries not to hurt anyone in the process.
Crush: There is no telling the rhyme or reason as to why Xander is attracted to certain individuals and utterly repulsed by other girls. With no specific type, an assessment of Xander's former flings could quite possibly make him appear to be a schizophrenic, with his exes ranging from the most uptight rich girls to the very friendly motorcycle mavens. Currently, his few fascinations are of a variety far greater than the colors of the rainbow. Ali Ware's shine-shine attitude is impressive (if not completely unlike his more surly demeanor), Bianca McGowan is just plain good looking, and then there's Hailey Robinson. When it comes to Hailey, he can't figure out what it is that intrigues him. It just is there. Yet, he'd probably always restrain himself when it came to her, because he has an uncanny feeling that he might obliterate her in the end-- and he never hopes to do such a thing again.

Name: Gideon Jones
Age: Nineteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Battery Metallica
History: Like father like son; in some respects Gideon Jones is startling in his likeness to Carver M. Jones, a top ranking pilot in the Air Force. They both have an inability to listen to opinions with which they disagree and are fully capable of leaving issues forever unresolved. In most ways, however, Gideon and his farther are like strangers to one another. The eldest of three children born to Carver and his former wife Lucy, Gideon and his younger brothers (currently ages 14 & 12), have been shipped from coast to coast for the entirety of their lives. The constant upheaval is the only thing they have ever known and the main cause of the disintegration of their parents marriage. Despite the instability of the life he has to offer, Carver was given full custody of the children due to Lucys need to recapture her youth and the simple fact that she didnt want to raise the three boys on her own. The divorce was finalized ten years past, and ever since Gideon has been more of a father figure to his little brothers than Carver has. Do you sense resentment? Can you feel the tension? Every time Carver and Gideon attempt at communicating, it leads to a bitter battle of words. The life of an army brat is always full of woes.
Personality: Head strong, impetuous, rude Gideons first impression is prone to not be a positive one, as his surly demeanor and mocking comments are likely to rub many the wrong way. The curl of his lips into a natural smirk and his naturally unapproachable stance leads to an automatic impression that Gideon is the troublesome sort. This is more or less true, as he has definite resentment towards all figures of authority. Having been the new kid perpetually his entire life, Gideon is accustomed to being shrouded in mystery and remains an enigma to most who have ever encountered him. The sort that doesnt supply information aside from voicing facts no one else wants to hear, Gideon is a far cry from being the Dr. Phil metrosexual and will never be in touch with his feminine side if he can help it. This isnt to say Gideons a bad guy. Hes decent, as his relationship with his younger brothers glaringly proves. Yet the idea of Gideon Jones being a caring guy seems laughable. laughable. If you are among those laughing, its obvious that you arent one of the select few that Gideon has opened up to and actually gives a damn about.
Extra Curricular Activities: Art Club.
Editorial: Gideon is not a man whore himself, so the slutty tendencies of Players arent exactly something he can relate to. They can go ahead and do their own thing, hell keep on doing his and hopefully no issues will ever surface.
Crush: In sixth grade, Gideon was the kid to laugh at those who played MASH. In ninth, he pulled the fire alarm during the WELCOME Dance and presently, he's more likely to shudder at the thought of a girlfriend than mope over the fact that he doesn't have one. If he had to name someone and I mean had to... most likely he'd mention Danielle or Sway. They're hot and he isn't blind. Their personalities don't seem half bad either. Does this sound completely shallow? Probably, but crushes generally are and to divulge further information simply wouldn't be his style.

Name: Saoirse Kellogg
Age: 18
Grade: senior
Song of Choice: I Wanna Be Bad - Willa Ford
History: Saoirse grew up daddy's little princess. The one who was the center of attention. She took ballet lessons as well were in various pagnents where she won several crowns throughout the years.
Eventually that landed her a scholarship to attend a top notch boarding school when she was in the 7th grade in England. Of course her parents let her go and attend. Always popular in school, it was no surprise when she hit puberty, she had boys knocking at her door to take her out. But sometimes that can be a bad thing. One night while on a date with an older high school boy (She was in the 8th grade and he was in the 10th grade) things went a bit further than she liked when they were in his car with two of his buddies riding along. One thing lead to another. They had all been drinking. Thing went too far and they proceeded to rape her all three of them. Taking turns doing god knows what. Things that can't be mentioned here. She reported them to the police, but nothing came about it after she decided to drop the charges. Rumors were spread around school and the town that she was a slut and easy. (Even to this day, nothing much has changed as far as that) She gave up and just dropped the charges. That was a turning point for her. She would never let anybody hurt her like that again. Once she known as the sweet heart school, she turned into the queen witch. Using men as they use women, she has slept with half the school by now probably.
Personality: Queen bitch comes to mind. She isn't one to take lightly. She either likes you and is blunt. Sarcastic...if you bore her, she'll leave you in mid conversation and if you ask where she is going, she'll tell you do the world a favor and kill yourself. Though at times she can be nice, but she sees most of the time there is no use in being nice to anybody. She'll talk to you, but be nice at first, but if you annoy it, she won't be pretty. She cut right into you to the point of making you cry. But keep in mind she can be a manipulative little wench. And oh if you back stab her, pay back is a bitch and she happens to be it. But behind that is a heart little girl. She masks her true feelings to protect herself. Sure she has likes guy in the past, but why let them get close...all they do is hurt you. She'll use them as they will use them. Everybody is a pon in her game...even guys...it is just a matter of time before they screw them over before they get to it first.
Extra Curricular Activities: Partying
Current Tally: 25 last count...guys/girls...hell it doesn't matter. Some girls are just that dumb, they deserved to be played.
Target: Is it so wrong a girl is a player? A lot of people would say it is. So she sleeps with who she wants, when she wants. Hell she'd sleep with teachers, especially Mr. Noland, Mr. St. Louis, and Mr. Bryant.. She isn't afraid to go after she wants, even a hot teacher or three. Though she does think some of the faculty is hot, she'd still sleep with her fellow players such as Haydan O'Conner, Connor Drake, and Casey Floyd in a heart beat because they are nice to look. Also other pieces of arse she loved to get her hands on are Jorge Bertolini, Migel Lopez, and Nate Morris. Hey what can I say? When she has a lot of people on her list? Hello she is a ho bag and is proud of it.

Taken By: Dimaranwen
Name: Claire Larson
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Darkness Disturbed
History: Everyone knows that in any teenage TV show, there is always the depressed, alcoholic adolescent that is just crying for help. Claire Larson always wished for the perfect life. She envisioned her normal parents going to the PTA meetings at school wwhile she watched over her younger brothers and sisters. She imagined her family eating together, going out together, and doing everything together. These were all dreams of Claires, to escape the unpleasant life she really had. She didn't exactly 'have it bad' but she thought constantly that it could be better. Her single mother raised Claire and her two younger brothers in a small apartment in Chicago. Claire never knew what it was like to live a luxurious life. She received the bare minimum, and all Claire could do was be brave for her mother. She couldn't always disguise her feelings, however, and her discontent with her life often showed itself in dangerous ways. Claire was unhappy, to put it lightly. In order to vent the frustration she kept inside her at home, she frequented keggers to drown her sorrow in gallons of alcohol. Her behavior went mostly unnoticed, which provoked Claire to try more dangerous things. She used any drugs she could get her hands on. But eventually, her mother lost her job in Chicago and moved to New York for a fresh start, yet Claire didn't particularly care about the move. She didn't leave anything behind in Chicago except 16 years of her life. What Claire found in New York did little change her attitude. She found the same sort of people that could get her drugs and alcohol in exchange for a different sort of payment. She did little to improve her life, and it seemed like no one could help her. Her brothers were too young to understand, and her mother was always working. Claire finally found a way to be noticed. She attempted suicide, which landed her in rehab and counseling. Claire obtained the attention she coveted, but at a price. Claire is rarely allowed to do anything now, and her dangerous habits have stopped. But shes still known as the suicidal chick.
Personality: At a glance, Claire looks perfectly normal, even charming. But as the saying goes, looks can be deceiving. If someone asked a random student what Claire was like, they would merely say, Shes that depressed chick, right? Few try to look past Claires history, and frankly, she doesnt care. She is often greeted with random jokes about her past, and she tries extremely hard to disregard them. Shes accustomed to this kind of treatment. The kids here in New York are identical to the ones back in Chicago. If theyre in high school, Claire thinks they are a waste of her time. She has a bit of a superiority complex, but no one would know it. Claires preference to be alone is labeled as antisocialism, rather than superciliousness. The few that she has spoken to think shes the devil reincarnated, but perhaps with good reason. Although she fails to communicate with that many people, the list of peers shes verbally abused is quite extensive. Ignoring the constant cracks works some of the time, but everyone has their breaking point. When Claire breaks, she explodes. Consider yourself lucky if you havent been on the receiving end. Her vulgar, sharp retorts have been heard by everyone, even if her replies arent directing at them. Claire has only once been provoked to physical abuse, and the unfortunate, stupid soul who went just a little too far with his jokes ended up in the hospital. He even transferred schools because he was so afraid of her. Claire has obtained a bit of a reputation, so most steer clear of her. And shes happy with that.
Extra Curricular Activities: Debate Team, but not by choice
Editorial: Claire takes little interest in the angst-filled romance that envelopes the student body. She thinks that most of the girls are giddy and stupid, and the guys are just out to get some. They are all the same to her, and she couldnt care less about them.
Crush: If anyone asked Claire who she liked, they would probably found dead the following morning. Claire rarely speaks to anyone, especially of anything related to her love life, or lack thereof. Whenever she hears any girls talking about their latest 'crush,' she just rolls her eyes and mocks them. She would never tell anyone about who she secretly wants to screw, and there are a few, despite Claire's dislike for guys in high school. Lately, Benjamin Reeve has attracted her attention. He's good looking, not to mention extremely blunt. But then there's Keenan McAdams, cute, but definitely manipulative. Surprisingly, Claire wouldn't be too unwilling to reveal her latest attractions, but only to the guys that they involve, ironically enough.

Name: Sinclaire Lawson
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Change - One True Thing
History:Sinclaire can not say that she was born to Justin and Samantha Lawson, because she was not. Truth be told she does not know who she is the spawn of. All she knows is that she was adopted by Danica and Brent Lawson when she was just five years old. When Sinclaire was born, she lived with her parents until she was one year old, and then they apparently could no longer handle the calmess of a one year old daughter so they took her to the police station. She was then taken over to the orphanage where she lived for five years. You would think many people would rather adopt a baby then a toddler, but apparently that was not the case for Sinclaire. Not many people wanted a child that was as quiet, and loud at the same time as Sinclaire was. When she was old enough to form real memories, she started making friends with some of the older kids at the orphanage, but as she made a new friend, a home was found for them and she was forced to say goodbye. Usually not hearing from them again. Not many kids wanted to be reminded of their time in that place. As a way to stop her from crying, one of the adults gave her a notebook and a pencil, and she began to draw. At first just stick figures but as time went on she taught herself how to draw porttits, scenery, she learned to paint, and everything. Drawing has always, and will always be the thing that she does when she needs to get herself out of what ever mood she is in. Finally when she was five years old she found the thing she had been searching for. A home. When she met the Lawson's, all she knew was that these were it. These were the people who would give her everything she ever wanted. And that they did. They took her home, and introduced her to a whole new world, a new life. They showed her a world of decent people, but of course her shy attitude did not go away. She at least does not feel abandoned anymore.
Personality: Sinclaire used to be very social, very outgoing, very open, very happy. When she started school. But then Junior High hit, and then high school and her happy attitude slowly vanished as she learned the truth about people. That being nice is usually just a mask, that most people will do anything to tear you down. Break you apart. Pick at your scab until it is fully exposed again, scare you into running. As each year passed by slowly, Sinclaire found herself breaking away from her peers and going back to her drawing book, losing herself in her art. It seemed to be the only thing she could do that was real anymore. The people around her, the comments, the jokes...it all scared her too much and she built up a wall. A wall that she will not allow to break down. She needs to protect herself, and to do that she needs to remain as quiet as she is...scare people away from her.
Extra Curricular Activities:National Honors Society, Yearbook, Newspaper...
Editorial:If you were to ask her what she thought of a player a few years ago, she would probably shrug and answer with a simple "misunderstood" but now if you were to ask her well...she has a whole laundry list of complaints on them. She thinks that a person who classifies themselves as a player is just a lost soul who feels they need to find comfort with whatever warm body comes their way. Or, she could answer with her honest thoughts. Which is that they are heartless, souless moronic bastards who love the joy they get out of seeing a person cry or break down. They don't know what a soul is, or if they do they must have sold it to Charles Manson because he so clearly to her is not as bad as they are. You see? She is even comparing the players to a serial killer. That is how she feels about them. She thinks a serial killer is a better person then them. Not good.

Name: Bryony Lockwood
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Cant Hold Us Down - Christina Aguileria feat. Lil Kim
History: A product of a modern day family, Bryony can be found living with her fathers family every other weekend but typically resides with her mother, her step father and the three little brats that are her half-siblings (all of whom she loves dearly). Every Thursday, the two families coalesce into one big group of odd balls as they eat Mexican food, which is followed by the group uniting around the piano to sing old standards. The night typically ends with a harmonized version of kumbaya as they have one big group hug. Okay, so the details of such a night are more than slightly embellished if not entirely fabricated, but they do eat together on a regular basis. The story of Bryonys parents is rather typical. They met in college, married post-graduation, had themselves a baby and then gradually fell out of love only to find their supposed soul mate in the arms of others once the divorce had been finalized. Unlike many, Bryony has no pipe dream of her parents getting back together and has never experienced any real issues that resemble the makings of a Cinderella Story when it comes to her stepparents. While it might not be the American dream family shown on television nightly, it is her family and thats better than any ABC Made-For-TV cutout of how a family should be as far as Bryony is concerned.
Personality: Say it loud and say it proud. That could very well be Bryony Lockwoods mantra as she has a reputation of always having an opinion on subjects ranging from Quiznos Commercials (funniest things to be on TV since Who Wants To Marry A Millionare) to the policies of our current president (lets just say, she wont be voting Republican). Her talkative ways are school renowned, yet unlike many opinionated people, Bryony is capable of listening to others as well as speaking her own mind without being inflammatory. Not simply a motor mouth, Bryony is a smart girl who is confident enough to go ahead and do her own thing. Well accessorized and always color coordinated, the blonde hair may bring others to note a Barbie-Doll likeness yet such a resemblance is only skin deep. With Bryony, her opinions are outward and her heart is often worn on her sleeve. Despite her congenial ways and the overwhelming trust that she places in other people, Bryony isnt a nave girl who is effortlessly manipulated. If you are ever fool enough to try and manipulate her Bryony will kill you. Okay, maybe she wont go as far as homicide but shell be sure to make it so you would wish you were dead. Really.
Extra Curricular Activities: NYPH Radio Station (Dj/Host)
Editorial: The whole situation seems fundamentally retarded to Bryony. Sure, some of the players were blessed with good genes, yet the brawn without many brains quickly looses its appeal. As dirty and unhygienic as the skanky ways of her schools confessed Pimps & Playas may be, what truly irks Bryony are the idiot girls that fall for their charms and further inflate such imbecilic egos. The moral of the story: players lack morals and if you are a girl that thinks you can save them or change their ways, youre only giving Bryony further proof that youre an idiot that can and will be taken advantage of, if not by a player then by someone else.
Crush: Oh, honey. Have you never tuned into the school radio channel to catch one of Bryony's numerous rants about the stupidity of ill-fated high school romance? She's not the sort to hint at anything and her blunt statements concerning such subject matter as teenage love make it easy to assume she's not the sort to doodle particular names in cher notebook or dream of her future wedding with the Prom King. Is this to say Bryony holds no secret flame for a student at New York Public High School? Maybe, maybe not. Believe it or not, Bryony actually does keep some things to herself.

Name: Miguel Lopez
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
History: Twenty five years ago Francisco Lopez and his wife Lupe almost died in the desert while they illegally tried to leave Mexico to start a new life in America. They were discovered twice and sent back to Mexico but the third time they had luck. They were suffering extreme dehydration but they were alive in US territory. The couple soon had three children: Jose, Carlos and Miguel. Franciscos dreams of prosperity never became true and the family often had to struggle against their financial problems, but at least the family was together. That is, until Jose impregnated a sixteen years old girl and decided it would be better to leave town than to stay and be forced to get married. A year later, Carlos got involved with the wrong kind of people and didnt return home one night. His body was found five days later floating in a river. There was a public investigation but nothing was ever cleared up. There were rumors about drugs, gambles and money debts. But that's all these were. Rumors. The life of the Lopez changed drastically after the death of Carlos and ended up affecting not only the parents but also Miguel.
Personality: Since Miguel is now the only remaining son of the Lopez, he often has to deal with a lot of pressure. His parents have let him know over and over again that he is the only hope of the family. A role that Miguel would gladly give away to anyone else since he hates restraints and impositions. But he is a smart guy and he has been using that intelligence in school. You can't accusse him of not getting the best grades. He does get them. Whic doesn't mena that he enjoys classes. You can think of him as a Ferry Bueller's kind of guy. He knows how to charm people into doing what he wants with an innocent expression on his face and a boyish grin. And the best part of it? People don't even realize it. Miguel is very subtle. But even though you can have fun with Miguel in a party there there are many, many other aspects of him. A darkest side. And a resentful and unforgiving side. There is a lot more to be found beyond the parties and the thrill seeking guy. You might be able to see it one of these days. If you ever stick around long enough.
Extra Curricular Activities: National Honors Society, Student Council.
Editorial: With so many cliches in school it is different to keep track of all of them. Players are just another one of those. Yes, there are a lot of players around so you can take a look at them when you walk pass them in the halls. But high school is high school. And guys are guys. How they decide to live their lives is their business. And Miguel prefers to keep his mind on his own business.

Name: Charlotte McAdams
Age: Seventeen (soon to turn Eighteen)
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Tomorrow - Lillix
History: Susie Forrester and Brian McAdams met at a party thrown by a mutual friend. Susie arrived with a very disinterested date, and found Brian in the kitchen by the fridge. A conversation began, which soon turned into a debate over which beer was the best. Neither of the two could come to an agreement, and instead drank their respective beers and let the conversation continue. Hours past, and they were still sitting at their friend's kitchen table, talking about life. It was four a.m. when they finally got up to leave, but neither of them wanted to say good-bye yet; so they went to Denny's for an early breakfast. They were married eight months later, and three days after their first wedding anniversary, Charlotte Michelle McAdams was born. Life in their small Louisiana town was perfectly content; Susie worked as a teacher at the local high school and Brian ran a successful construction outfit. Charlotte and her friends ran around the neighborhood without causing worry to their parents. It was an idyllic setting to grow up in, and the McAdams were the ideal family. When Charlotte was eight, her parents had another child, a boy, and they named him Edward. It wasn't but one minute after meeting her new little brother for the first time that she began referring to him affectionately as "my Eddie." Despite their age difference, Charlotte spent a lot of time with her brother, nurturing him as if she were his mother. This continued, as she would parade him with her wherever she went in town. When she and her friends entered junior high though, it suddenly wasn't cool to hang out with a little kid anymore, and Charlotte began ditching Eddie for Friday nights at the movie theater. It wasn't as though she picked on him, but there was a definite division and a sense of annoyance as they both grew older; Charlotte needing Mom's attention to learn how to do her make-up, and Eddie needing the attention so he could learn the alphabet. One Saturday afternoon, Charlotte and a group of friends were planning on meeting at the mall. Just as she began getting ready, Susie came in and told Charlotte to cancel her plans because she needed to help her friend with an emergency and someone needed to watch Eddie. Charlotte, of course, was furious and they held a screaming match before Susie finally ended the argument by leaving Charlotte and Eddie alone. Charlotte, being the stubborn teenager she was, refused to miss her plans, and set Eddie up with a video. She then snuck out the back door and headed to the mall. A few hours later, her friend dropped her off to find several emergency vehicles outside with their lights on. Charlotte got out of the car and immediately heard the screams of her mother as she walked around the side of the house and saw a paramedic pulling Eddie out of the pool. As many times as her parents consoled her and tried to convince her that Eddie's death was not her fault, she knew that it was. Her parents' grief was so overwhelming that everyone decided it was best if Charlotte were to go live in New York with her Aunt Hannah. She's lived there since, and each day tries to forget the tragedy she left behind in Louisiana.
Personality: Charlotte is best described as a surface person. On the surface, she's happy, friendly, outgoing and a little bit adventurous; basically, your normal high school senior. That's exactly what she strives to portray; normalcy. It's what she had before her life changed dramatically, and it's all she wants now. Under the surface, she still struggles to wake up in the morning. Though she sometimes portrays self-confidence, it's purely superficial. Despite the daily grief, Charlotte manages to do fairly well in school and dedicates herself to writing song lyrics and singing whenever she has a willing audience. Charlotte holds in a lot of negative emotions, and feels like she's constantly got something to prove, which is the reason for her need to overachieve. When all you want to do is turn back the clock, your daily life isn't always the easiest, but simply looking at Charlotte, you'd never know that.

Song of Choice: Just Another Pretty Face - Bleeding Through
History: Joshua McClaine and Cynthia Mason met in high school. They were friends, then they were enemies, then they were friends again, and of course enemies..then they were drunk. Of course it was Joshua's last night in town since he was being sent off to Los Angeles with his father the next day. When they woke the moring after, they said farewell, neither one knowing they loved the other. Six years went by and neither one of them had heard a word from the other. Until that fateful night. Joshua was back in New York on business, and he happened to stumble into the hotel Cynthia currently managed. He got into a minor argument with the man at the front desk and demanded he speak to the manager. When Cynthia stepped out of the back room...it was like time froze. And it was just the two of them. They talked, they caught up, and even took another little stroll down memory lane. Then they went to bed. When they woke...things got strange. They slowly formed a relationship, he even proposed to her, two months after their renunion they were married. It was then that Cynthia saw the man he had become. He was controlling, overbearing, he was not abusive physically but mentally. Especially when Kaden was born. Joshua demanded his young son become the football star he himself was. But Kaden would have none of it. He would disobey his fathers every demand, until he was eleven, which was when Cynthia could no longer handle his behavior towards her and her son. She divorced Joshua, and to make sure he stayed away from Kaden, she filed for a restraining order. Almost five years have passed, and Kaden had been visted by his father. Joshua insisted that he try to form a father/son bond. Of course Kaden hated not having a father around, he knew he missed out on a lot. So he agreeded to spend some time with him. Even though Cynthia was not pleased, but Kaden was a teenager, he had to make his own decisions. But she was not prepared for the decision he made. He asked to live with his father. As much as it hurt her to agree to it, she did. She just wanted her son to be happy. Even if it was with Joshua. But as time went on, and Kaden moved in with his father Joshua's demanding behavior resurfaced and he continued to try and push his son to be something he is not. Kaden pretended to join the team, he pretended he was playing football, meanwhile eveyday during pratice he was off somewhere else, usually at a friends...hiding until it was time to go home.
Personality: When Kaden lived with his mother, she taught him how to be his own person. Do what you want to do, and don't let anyone tell him he can not do something he wants to do. But when he moved in with his father, he was convinced his attitude was making him weak, it was a way for people to tear him down...but the truth is it was his two parents who tore him down. Kaden used to be a very outgoing, very friendly, happy, funny, smart...talented..even popular young man. But when he moved in with his father, it was all slowly taken away from him. He tried to please his father, and act how he told him to act, meanwhile memories of his mothers words repeated in his head...until both their words broke him down piece by piece. He found himself finding comfort in the dark closet of his bedroom, he found himself locking the door, and turning on the dark music, with the depressing lyrics...he began to write. His own songs, his own lyrics, and then he picked up a guitar and he would play on end, he sunk into a depression years ago. Now he is quiet, withdrawn, Angry, and clueless as to who he is. Or what will some day become of him.
Extra Curricular Activities: Not A One.
Editorial: Who gives a damn? So some guy is wandering the halls everyday looking for his next piece of meat, so they like to take pleasure out of crushing other peoples hearts, so they clearly enjoy watching people in pain...who gives a damn? Kaden sure as hell does not. The way he sees it, these people do what they want because they know they can get it. He would never do anything to hurt a girl for fun, but if these people take joy out of it then thats their problem. That's their business and as long as they don't come hitting on him...he ignores them all.

Name: Trevor McEachran
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice:
History: David and Ellen McEachran lives in a small apartment building in the Bronx, where they raise chickens on the roof. Their daughter, Tori, was a child prodigy who now attends Harvard on a full scholarship. Trevor showed the same promising qualities as his older sister early on in life. He scored high on aptitude tests and even managed to skip second grade. When junior high comes around, everything suddenly changes. He becomes restless and his grades drop remarkably. His parents chalk it up to puberty, or "just a phase he's going through". Well, his parents were stupid and they were wrong. He's made to repeat the tenth grade because of his lacking grades (and also because he blew up the science lab), which, if you were keeping track, evens out the second grade that he'd skipped. Now, in his senior year, Trevor is still as restless as ever, inadvertently causing trouble wherever he goes.
Personality: Don't be fooled by his sweet, smiling exterior: this boy is a killing machine. Or, at least, has the potential to be. His sense of adventure combined with his restlessness doesn't always produce desirable results. Recall the mock cartoon of Curious George lying face up on the floor with an open bottle of ether next to him. That's going to be Trevor one day, except he'll probably be in pieces instead. When he's not busy blowing things up, Trevor's putting together useless contraptions that some day might do a lot of good, but not today. See: his M&M De-sheller. Specifically designed for the intentions of removing the sugar coated shell. It serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever, but it's one of his proudest inventions. At least, one of the few ones that doesn't actually explode. As a friend, Trevor is honest and loyal, but not always the most considerate. If it's a choice between his experiments and his friends, it'd be the former. Several times, he's asked his friends to test out one of his inventions, with disastrous results.

Name: Bianca McGowan
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Stand Up - Ludacris
History: Bianca is a daddy's girl -- she was born a daddy's girl, and she will remain to be a daddy's girl until there is no more daddy existent. Don't get me wrong, both her parents love her very much. But since it is just her, their love gets multiplied by just a bit. Growing up in New York with a successful lawyer for a father who was born in El Salvador and moved to the US with his family decades ago, and a French-born restaurant owner for a mother who helps the family with her dead father's inheritance, she's pretty much gotten whatever it is she may want or need, and she has no problem knowing that fact. After high school, she plans to attend Columbia, just like all her family before her, and once she's out she wants to pursue a career in journalism, or some time of communications field. With her social skills, she was made for that kind of thing.
Personality: If you could sum up Bianca in a word, you might want to use the word 'damn', just by the looks of her. But then she'd call you a perv and slap you or something for being so shallow but secretly like that fact that she was admired. But honestly, she wasn't that much of a complex character. She's fun-loving, energetic, sarcastic when she needs to be, charismatic and charming when she doesn't try to be, and an all-around nice person to hang out with.
Extra Curricular Activities: Dance Club, NHS, Varsity Diving Team
Current Tally: Three...Bianca's a knock-out, not a slut. She's only slept with the guys who've been her boyfriends, and they have since gone on to a better place...or easier girls, whichever. She likes sex just as much as the next hormonal teenager, but she doesn't go after it like she's not meant for anything else besides it. Oh the world we live in, feeding women these lies...breaks a girl's heart.
Target: When it comes to guys, Bianca doesn't like to pursue, because in some settings that's described as desperate...and really, who wants to be called desperate? There is, however, one person who is a definite exception to this rule, and his name would be Nate Morris. She doesn't know why she's so attracted to him (besides the obvious reasons his good looks provide), because they're not really anything alike. But of course, as the old saying goes, opposites attract. So she's more of a distant admirer. There is also Damon Vartan, who happens to be a very nice guy, and she likes that in someone -- just that uncharacteristic ability to be nice.

Name: Nathaniel ( Nate ) Morris
Age: Nineteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Poison Whiskey - Lynyrd Skynyrd
History: Three children born of the Robinson lineage were the luckiest of all Baton Rouge, if it weren't for the series of tragedies that befell them. Mother of the brood, Norma Robinson, was a debutante making her way up the social ladder, thanks to her marriage to politician Giles Robinson. His son was to follow his footsteps, yet all plans made were forgotten when, in a turn of events, Norma disappeared from the city and never seen again. Elizabeth, the eldest of the children, found herself grasping for her mother's identity after she was so cruelly taken away from a family that loved her, that needed her, that couldn't go on without her. Anden's marriage left a hole in her heart and when Daniel Morris asked for her to become his wife, she was quick to do so and try to escape the dark cloud that followed behind their bloodline. The sun was shining brightly when her first son, Nathaniel, came into the world with fists raised high. Treasured from the start, the trio were close-knit and welcomed one more, a daughter, into their circle. Nathaniel was always considered the nicest in Louisiana, but one late night phone call changed everything. Now, after Hailey's accident, his family has moved into the spacious loft his uncle owns in order to help the girl try to recover from her injuries and for him to have the privilege of the best the city has to offer to his age group.
Personality: Many a girl has fallen for the charms of Nate, whether they realized his potential as a ladies' man or not, but deep down, he could be considered one of the nicer high school males and more than respectful of his peers. Like the kindness his cousin was quick to display, he is equally even tempered and friendly, though never having been quite as outgoing as she is. Some view him as just another athlete, but underneath the talents he was endowed with, he is grateful for all he is capable of and all that he is not capable of. His love of life is contagious, though it seems some are just not meant to catch it.
Extracurricular Activities: Varsity Cross Country. Varsity Track and Field.
Editorial: When he gives his heart to a friend of his, he would be willing to defend them to the very death and has often gotten himself into trouble with the supposed group of "players" for taking up something he believed in. Nathaniel may not be anything like modern man, but he still garners respect from all those around him.
Crush: If you were to look any closer at the landscape of New York Public High School, most would be unsurprised to see that kindness is few and far between when it comes to the students. Birds of a feather tend to flock together and realizing he was grouped with a set of sensitive girls that go to poetry readings, he nixed the thought of picking someone close to his own sort. Despite that, he has enjoyed the company of Miss Blair Byrne since stepping foot in the bustle of New York City, as they tend to run in the same circles - he is just as athletic as she - and associate with the same people. Roads that led him to those on the same wavelength at him were rocky to ride, but with her, he would be happy to chase her from one end of the Earth to the other. However, his supposed infatuation as is elementary with the tactics involved as a love note written between third graders and for this, few realize his feelings, and none say a word.

Name: Rajiv Naresh
Age: Senior
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: --
History: Let's pretend that it's not the clich. That it doesn't seem that every snarling bad boy has either the pathetically 'movie of the week' heart-breaking story, or the strictest of strict upbringings. Rajiv's definitely got the latter. Om Naresh and Chandra Khan were seen as the perfect couple. So much so that their parents may have played a slight part in their meeting/courtship/marriage/life in general. But neither of them really seemed to mind that their families saw the perfect match between the two. While Om was thirteen years older than Chandra, she will still admit today that she never felt that she was pressured into marriage. That she honestly loved Om. And while she may still do, it's true that the years have not been kind to Om, nor have the stresses of raising their two children. Alsana and Rajiv. Both had planned to raise the perfect Muslim family. And to them it seemed that this would a perfectly reasonable wish. Unfortunately it seemed that was not the case. Neither child was willing to sacrifice what they saw as their American life, for one that seemed to remove what they had grown to long. There were rules, set by their parents, and it seemed that none of these were stuck to. Om was getting more wrinkled by the minute and Chandra used to lock herself in the bathroom for long periods of time, blaming herself for what her children had become. Rajiv would probably choose to blame his parents too, even if he's not entirely sure if it is all down to bad parenting. He would never tell them this thought, and so still Om screams and Chandra wails.
Personality: You think that Rajiv cares? Rajiv doesn't care. He doesn't care about much. Obviously quite high of the lists of things he really couldn't give a damn about would be himself. There's no use trying. You can tell him as many times as you want that the cigarettes he smokes are slowly killing him, or that the alcohol he drinks far too much of is killing his brain cells. He'll just shrug. He knows that he'll die on day, he might as well do what he feels like now, instead of dying an old man who spent his whole life terrified of death. And that's exactly the sort of conversation that you'd get from Rajiv. The pseudo-intellectual, that needs to be coupled with a slouch and a snarl. Which it often is. You almost expect him to be found sitting at some dingy coffee-house somewhere, a lit cigarette is one hand, a poetry book in other and a cold mug of coffee in front of him. Luckily Rajiv has never gone as far as that. While he seems to be disturbing intense, or at least enigmatically, he would never describe himself as depressed. Angry, maybe, but he'd never go as far as putting a gun to his head. Or if he did, it would probably just be for effect, he would never consider actually pulling the trigger.
Extra Curricular Activities: Oh yes, Rajiv just scream extra curricular doesn't he?
Editorial: There's no opinion. Rajiv doesn't care. Why should he? It has absolutely no affect on him whatsoever.

Name: Brayden OConnor
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Chinese Burn - Curve
History: OConnor. Its amazing how just one word can strike both fear and nausea into those who have ever been associated with it. Everyone knows the OConnors. That sickingly perfect family with prettier children than that annoying 7th Heaven family, but with less of the dramatic shit youll find on One Tree Hill or The OC. Catharine and Landon OConnor did everything the quote, unquote right way. They met sophomore year in college during a criminal justice course, dated for three years, and waited another year after they got engaged to tie the knot when both were financially secure in their careers. Both even waited to have sex for the first time until their wedding night. Yeah, shocker, I know. It wasnt long before Catharine popped her first one out though. Ten months into the marriage, Jayden, the oldest, was born. For the next four consecutive years, four more followed to complete the large, close knit family that they are today. In retrospect, anyone whos ever encountered an OConnor sibling finds themselves questioning how the hell such conniving, devious, and down-right manipulative little bastards could be produced from two loving and caring parents. They all take turns saying grace at the dinner table and attend church every Sunday. Catharine and Landons marriage has never been trifled with by an outside harlot and neither of the two have ever laid a finger on their children. They could easily be the Ward and June Cleaver of the twenty-first century, yet their children have somewhat of a variation between the Lisbon children and the Osbornes tongues. If Catharine and Landon knew of their childrens less than virtuous activities, the extent to their crass materialism or the size of Braydens superiority complex alone, theyd probably die of heart attack.
Personality: Its having brains to go with the wet dream inspiring looks that makes girls like Brayden O'Connor every other girls public enemy number one. Shes pretty and shes smart, and whats more, she knows it, and knows how to use it to her advantage. Brayden doesnt have to crave the spotlight; it finds her naturally. She radiates confidence and thrives off an audience. Its not enough for Brayden to know she's untouchable; others have to know it too. Dont let that pretty, jaded face of hers mislead you though. Shes earned the reputation for being a venomous calculating ice-princess on the pretence that she goes after what she wants, all the while dancing on the graves of anyone stupid enough to get in her way. Everything about Brayden screams trouble. She lives life on a whim and does as she pleases with little regard for the people around her. And where some people will just take chance opportunities as they come, she thrives off the anguish and destruction of others. Nothing about Brayden is a farce either. She doesnt suffer from neglect and her heart has never suffered betrayal. She has absolutely no reason to be the manipulative, evil little wench that she is. She just is.
Extra Curricular Activities: Master Peace Dance Squad (Co-Captain) and Student Council.
Editorial: Braydens very much aware of the archetype, but holds them all with very little regard. She doesnt look down on them so much because they screw around with various partners, but moreso because they get caught.

Name: Jayden O'Connor
Age: 19
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Celebrity Skin - Hole
History: O'Connor. It's amazing how just one word can strike both fear and nausea into those who have ever been associated with it. Everyone knows the O'Connor's. That sickingly perfect family with prettier children than that annoying 7th Heaven family, but with less of the dramatic **** you'll find on One Tree Hill or The OC. Catharine and Landon O'Connor did everything the quote, unquote right way. They met sophomore year in college during a criminal justice course, dated for three years, and waited another year after they got engaged to tie the knot when both were financially secure in their careers. Both even waited to have sex for the first time until their wedding night. Yeah, shocker, I know. It wasn't long before Catharine popped her first one out though. Ten months into the marriage, Jayden, the oldest, was born. For the next four consecutive years, four more followed to complete the large, close knit family that they are today. In retrospect, anyone who's ever encountered an O'Connor sibling finds themselves questioning how the hell such conniving, devious, and down-right manipulative little bastards could be produced from two loving and caring parents. They all take turns saying grace at the dinner table and attend church every Sunday. Catharine and Landon's marriage has never been trifled with by an outside harlot and neither of the two have ever laid a finger on their children. They could easily be the Ward and June Cleaver of the twenty-first century, yet their children have somewhat of a variation between the Lisbon children and the Osborne's tongues. If Catharine and Landon knew of their children's less than virtuous activities or.the extent to their crass materialism they'd probably die of heart attack.
Personality: Jayden O'Connor. A name that strikes fear and trepidation into the hearts of the student body. The girl with the ultimate contradiction floating above her head. If her disarming glances and hollow smiles don't get you, her quick and bitter tongue will. Jayden doesn't just think she's superior, she knows that she is, and doesn't care if anyone else knows it too. There's nothing soft about Jayden, and she's never attempted to sugarcoat any of the things she does, or justify any of the things she's done. They just are, and so is she. She's never had to validate herself to anyone, which may be part of the reason why she's so scathing by nature. Jayden was born without the need to overcompensate, or hide anything. There are no deep dark secrets buried deep within her psyche, she has no deep inner trauma and she most certainly isn't repressing anything. Jayden is who she is by choice alone. She doesn't bother with fake pleasantries or plastic smiles, she doesn't need them. A natural born entertainer, Jayden has the voice of the angel and the tongue of a snake, and doesn't even pretend to hide her own self-appreciation for the fact. Believe anything you want about Jayden, none of it even remotely touches her pedestal. Jayden has the composure of a monk and the untouchable quality of a nun, not to mention her looks. She has it all, and she wants more. Got a problem with that? Take it up somewhere else, because she could care less. Jayden is the girl from a spotless family, and lives a seemingly untouched life.
Extra Curricular Activities: Choir, dance club.
Editorial:What does Jayden think of the players? She could care less. There is one and only one thing in her life that holds any importance. Her. The players can do what they please, when they please. And if they tried to pull her into their little mess she probably wouldn't care much more. Conflict only serves to make things interesting, and she doesn't mind a good sparring. It's not like any of them could get at her anyway. She has nothing to fear and nothing to hide, and if any of the players want to try her on that, she welcomes them to try.
Crush: "Crush"? Jayden? Are you kidding? Jayden doesn't *crush*. The word isn't in her vocabulary. Does she think members of the opposite sex are attractive? It's an absolute given. Does she ever become, as she would put it 'mildly infatuated' with guys? Absolutely. Crush isn't in her vocabulary. She isn't 7, you know. That being said, even if she did have a crush on anyone, she wouldn't be liable to tel you. Does she have her eye on a few people? Sure, but that's for her to know and for you to find out.

Name: Serendipity Preston
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles
History: Alexandra Preston was a single woman living by herself. She was only twenty years old when she had a car accident. The accident was near an abandoned mill and field. Naturally, she was very annoyed, and had to hike her way across the field to find some help. To the surprise of her and probably you reading this, she heard a sound coming from mill house. When she went inside she found a young girl who was probably only three or four years younger than herself. She was dead of what later proved to be an overdose. In addition to several pounds of drugs she also had a 4 month old baby with her. The identity of the mother was never found, and with help from her parents Alexandra fought to adopt the baby. She named her Serendipity, since the officers had told Alex if she hadn't of had the car accident the child probably would have starved to death. Serendipity grew up in a loving single-parent home. Her adoptive mother had aspired to be a singer for most of her life but gave up to be able to better support her. The Preston women now run a new age store/candle store/book store, which mostly gets tourist or curiousity business but pays the bills.
Personality: When you first see her it would be impossible not to think of another word besides 'hippie'. The music, the freedom, ideals, movies, and such of the 60's and 70's fasinate her. She draws the line at anything drug related due to her birth and such. She drives a VW bus that she has painted funky images and such on. Once every six months she changes the art design on the vechile. Since her adoptive mother had to give up her dream in order to support her, they have a pact that Serendipity will never give up on her dream. She tries her best not get discouraged. She is fairly naive underneath it all, insecure with herself but she tries to play it off with good-natured humor. A friend to the end she would rather someone punch her than stop talking to her.
Extra Curricular Activities: Theatre, newspaper staff, Art club, and SADD/SODA ( Students Against Drunk Driving/ Students Opposed to Drug Abuse)
Editorial: If you were to ask Serendipity about players she would make a face. In her mind the world is a nice place. She honestly believes that deep down all people are basically good. The idea that a guy would do the things that these 'players' supposedly do isn't a complete shock for her. She's heard about it about it, but not often. Would she know them when she saw them? Sure if they had PLAYER tattooed on their foreheads.
Crush: Serendipity has never been a big hit with the boys. When it comes to romance, she's isn't that comfortable. She doesn't really have a low self-esteem, but definately not a high one. She is the type of girl who feels best about the way she looks and herself in general when someone else obviously sees something good in her. This, of course, is where her crush on Harper Pullman has come from. As an observate person she has noticed him noticing her. Now she recalls that she has had a few classes with him previously, and finds it odd that she didn't notice him before. When she first saw him she had a big time crush on Nate Morris. It was more of an untouchable thing. He's not someone she thinks anything will ever happen with, just someone she 'sees'. In her naive way, she is actually believing that maybe her empty hole of a love life will be filled with something due to Harper's attention.

Name: Sylvana *Sway* Reid
Age: 17, almost 18

Song of Choice: Falling Down - Story of the Year
History: Oh, "love." To what great lengths some have gone for thee. Lillian Winchester had it all. The money, the looks, the money, the house, the money, the reputation, the money, the ten-thousand dollar loft overlooking Central Park ... and have I mentioned the money? It seemed that the world was a silver platter, and she had just about anything she could have ever wanted at just the tip of her fingers. Unfortunately, outside of a Rolls Royce and stocks of Microsoft, money doesnt buy everything. On the brink of getting forced together with the son of a family friend, not to mention a prospective business partner, Lillian turned her back on her respected posh life and ran off with a city college student to Washington D.C. When Robert Reid and Lillian Winchester were married, they married in front of a Justice of the Peace. The two went on to rent a small apartment, and though it was obvious that adjusting to this new life was hard on Lillian, they did their best to manage with the little they had. Flash forward seventeen years later into the marriage, now with a small house of their own, and two daughters: Sylvana, then fifteen, and Tatiana, a year and a half younger, who had no clue how good they had it in life. Their parents were not another statistic, but instead, still happily married. Food was always on the table and clean clothes always on their back. It would seem that this is the point where everything goes wrong, and youre right. It did. Lillian was the innocent victim of a drive-by shooting and Robert was now faced with a rather scary reality. He alone could not provide for his children. Thats where the Winchesters came back into play. Up until the day he and the two girls showed up outside their door, they didnt even know they had grandchildren. Of course, what would you do if your estranged daughters children showed up at your doorstep, distraught from having lost their mother? Turn them away? Not unless you were a heartless bastard. And, contrary to popular belief, not all rich people are. So the Winchesters took Sway and Tatiana in. And now Sway and Tanna (the nickname her sister affectionately bestowed onto her that no one else dare even speak in her presence) pretty much can get any and everything they want.
Personality: Trying to pin just one word onto Sway is nearly impossible. She's like an onion, so many layers, and once you think you get through one, you still got 400 million more to get through. Growing up, Sway was... different than most children. She didn't like the things that most little girls her age loved. Even her parents said she was 4 years old going on 40. That was the age when she started dance. Her dedication to dance eventually lead her to gymnastics, which then took her to Figure Skating. The only other subject that she was as invested in as ice skating, was school. Sway is incredibly smart, an honor roll student her entire high school career, hoping it will lead her to an academic scholarship at a prestigious university. On the surface you would see Sway as a very introverted, dedicated, and intelligent young woman. Underneath lies a very complex girl that only a few are lucky enough to truly know. She's opinionated, loud, boisterous, snarky, adventurous, outgoing, and some might even say a bit wild, much like her mother. And even with that there's still more to what Sway is all about. Since her mother's death, Sway had to permanently take her role as the grown up and she gave up dance, skating, and all her careless behavior behind. It'd be easy to cast her off as the quiet and reclusive chick in the back of the room, but if you took the chance to really get to know her, you'd find so much more.
Extra Curricular Activities: Formerly on the Dance Squad and Figure Skating Team. Quit both upon her mother's death.
Editorial: Sway doesn't really give a sh*t either way. The players are just a bunch of morons who wouldn't know the difference between a girl and a hole in the wall. And the girls that actually fall for them are just as stupid for putting themselves in that position. Either way, Sway is going to try and stay far away from both parties.
Crush: While Sway really isn't one to crush... or even date for that matter... she doesn't have any problem looking. As she's been taking on her role as the 'responsible' one, boys are hardly on her list of priorities. Still, that hasn't stopped her from letting her eyes wander. And as of late, her gaze has been falling on: Gideon Jones, Charlie Brown, Hayden O'Connor, Cedric Pembrooke, Trevor McEachran, Miguel Lopez, and Taylor Jennings. One for each day of the week, she says. She even has one fantasy which include all 7 men, a lot of chocolate syrup, and well... you can continue guessing from there. But that's all it really is to Sway... fantasies.

Name: Katrina *Kit* Spradley
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: --
History: What defines success? If the answer is that of material gains, the Spradley family has been extremely victorious in life. If you, on the other hand, feel that love is all you need to flourish in life, the Spradleys are another sad tale of lascivious individuals whole lack moral high ground and live within the realm of conspicuous consumption, caring only for themselves and never for one another. Maliah Lincolnformerly Mrs. Spradleyis a high society whore, hell bent on marrying every geezer who will turn over his fortune to her when on his deathbed (ala Anna Nicole Smith). She was once married to someone her age, albeit unhappily, the man being the music industry mogul that is Jackson Spradley. A relationship largely resulting from lust, it resulted in four children, and a nastily bitter divorce. Some people simply should not procreate; Jackson and Maliah are two of them. What was the end result of their decision to have children? Four certifiably damaged children who can easily contribute all their problems to a lack of parental attention and affection.
Personality: Katrina was born with that little bit of sparkle that other might lack, and it gave her the upper hand. Something that she didn't miss. While she managed to refrain from swanning into school with a home-made badge that read 'My father is Jackson Spradley,' she has never been particularly enigmatic about the fact, nor is she willing to be the weak link in the Spradley family. While many will be happy with being a face in crowd, that never seemed to be the case with Katrina. She was never the loud, wacky one, nor the overly cruel one. She just had a face and a name that people were almost prepped to recognize. But Katrina's not a saint, and it quickly became obvious that there might need to be a little work involved in being Katrina Spradley. And then it's all about the social hierarchy of high school life. Those people you avoid, those people you need to speak to. While others might gloat about the fact they believe they're doing their own thing, Katrina finds herself doing what is expected of her simple to make it appear like she's steaming ahead. Because that's one skill that Katrina has honed after years of practice. Be everyone at once, make people think that's there more to you than they'll ever be. Make it seem like you're the one in charge, when really everything is a carefully planned attack of what you know people will want you to be. So there's the Katrina that you see. She's the smiling one. She knows all the right people. She has friends in high places. And she's just cool. And then there's the other Katrina, a mess of suppressed actions and feelings.
Extra Curricular Activities: Newspaper, Ebony Club, Cheerleading Squad, Spanish Club.
Editorial: They're just guys, right? Katrina knows quite a few of them. She's probably slept with quite a few of them. But she never considers herself to be one of the 'played'. Whenever questioned about it, she'll claim that she knew what they were doing all along. How would it be possibly not to? It's not as if these guys don't have any sort of reputation. Of course inside she might be screaming at herself, either because she knew that the drunken fling would end in tears, or shock horror, because there might actually have been feeling there. But she'd never tell anyone that was how she felt. What are you, insane?

What was the end result of their decision to have children? Four certifiably damaged children who can easily contribute all their problems to a lack of parental attention and affection.
Personality: Superficial. Bitch. Stuck-up. The list of negative adjectives can go on and on when wanting to describe Kyla Spradley. Her bad attitude is backed up by the large group of girls that hang on her every word and never question her judgement. If you want to be in with the popular people Kyla hangs around with, you wouldn't want to piss her off, otherwise your time at New York Public will be miserable. The major concerns in her life are the new line of clothing coming out at her favorite store, the next pair of shoes she wants, and making endless appointments at the salon for hair, nails, feet, and face. She never has to worry about dates on Friday nights, because she always has her eye on some new athletic hunk. But, Kyla has never had a serious boyfriend, as she thinks she is better than every guy she goes out with. Her life is storybook perfect, from the nice car to the most popular guy. However, people aren't actually friends with Kyla Spradley. She is a bitch, and would hang out any of them to dry if she thought it would increase her popularity status. The biggest item on her list of things to do is being voted prom queen. Her constant smile and uppity attitude is all a facade, but few people see her as anything else.
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Cheerleader.
Editorial: Despite always having had a certain soft spot for the bad boys, she surely can't say she doesn't find their little games of manipulation a little disgusting. However, why is it that all these guys have to be the most good-looking ones at New York Public? It is hard to even care they aren't going to call the next day, when their face is so distracting. They would be perfect in her prom picture
Crush: For Friday nights, Kyla has the pick of the litter of guys to take her to movies, and she doesn't lower herself to take anyone who isn't a varsity letterman. She does have a reputation, afterall. She would be the laughing stock of her group, which she happens to be the leader of, if anyone found out who she would really rather be going out with, because Damon Vartan isn't exactly quarterback of the football team material. Kyla would rather just stare at him in English class, than ever bother going to talk to him.

Name: Grace Starr
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: This Love - Maroon 5
History: Anne Manning was twenty years old when she became involved with thirty years old Mick Starr, a pairing in which to this day, no member of both families has been able to understand. Mick was the leading singer of a famous rock band. Anne was the only daughter of one of the wealthiest couples in New York. Her father, Gregory Manning was the owner of a major stock company and one of the most respected men in the city. Mick had been notorious for his wild and unpredictable nature. His numerous affairs and fights with the media were the material of several tabloids for a few years. Anne, on the other hand, was serene and conservative, with a beauty that some people compared to that of Grace Kelly. It was easy for Anne to be the subject of the interest of many members of the opposite sex. Everyone was surprised the day she announced she was marrying Mick and her family didn't digest the news well. The media was fascinated by it but most people thought it was just a temporary infatuation. No one thought it would last. It did. For many years. Anne moved to LA with Mick and a year after their first child was born. Grace was the third kid of the couple. Growing up, she was provided with the best that life could offer. The best schools, the best clothes, and the best presents. But Grace never seemed to fit in any of the boarding schools she attended. After being expelled from the last one her parents decided there would be no more fancy schools for Grace. And at the same time, they announce their separation. Anne moved back to New York and Grace was sent to public High School. The divorce was clean. No scandals, no bitterness. The official press release stated "irreconcilable differences." Once free from attachments, Mick started to enjoy his new freedom. He can be seen in the company of young women all the time. As for Anne, she got married again fifteen months ago. Grace's stepfather is a well known prosecuting attorney. She still sees her father but only a few times a year. Yet, she still manages to hear of him. How could she not? He is on TV all the time. Just buy a magazine or turn on your TV. You will most likely end up seeing one of Mick's new videos on MTV.
Personality: Grace is the type of girl with multiple personalities. One minute she can be a sweetheart, complete generosity and compassionate tendencies, willing to give you a hand if you need it. The next she can be a complete bitch - with sardonic and sarcastic ways. You can have a mature discussion with her or you can wish to knock her silly due to her bluntness. Her attitude varies and her mood swings are constant, but she is far from being a loner. There is nothing more important to Grace than her friends, and there is nothing she wouldn't do for them, even if she had to walk through fire with her bare feet. If you're on her good side there's no need to worry, but if you are planning on irritating her you should consider it twice, since Grace has been known for having low crap tolerance. If you push her buttons she will have only one purpose in life: to cause as much mayhem and chaos as she can in order to make life a living hell for you. Overall, when you are around Grace, you never know for sure how she is going to react. But there is one thing for sure: what you see is what you get.
Extra Curricular Activities: Yearbook Staff.
Editorial: Morons. Airheads. Stupid little f*ckers. That's what she would say if she had to think of them. But Grace has never been too attached to the opposite sex in the first place, so she doesn't hold her breath. There are too many airheads walking around school to be paying attention to all of them. If you dislike someone, do not go around whining about it. Do something for God's sake, or please, show some intelligence and drop the issue.

Name: Gavin Stilts
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Untold - Pete Francis
History: Gavin grew up in a semi-normal household. His parents are both very caring and devoted, its just they have so many to take care of. They have eight children and Gavin is the second oldest. Jamie, his sister has already moved out. Because the Stilts had so many children Gavin was responsible for them quite often. He loves his brothers and sisters and all, its just hard to take care of them so much. His parents seem to rely on him too much. When they met they both decided they wanted eight children together, granted they would have had another, but his mother had a miscarriage once. Growing up in a big family taught him a lot, it taught him things most people dont learn until they are parents themselves. He always believed his parents were very much in love..until last year. His father had an affair with a young women. Gavins mother has no idea about it. Greg, Gavins father, went on many business trips. He went to Boston one night and Gavin had something very important he had to tell him. It involved football of course. When he got to the hotel he knocked on his fathers door, Gavin thought he was alone. When Gavin came in the room, his father and him talked. The other woman was hiding in the bathroom. Everything was going to be alright, until he heard the girl laughing. Gavin was telling Greg a funny story and she just started cracking up in the bathroom. Finally she came out, and Greg tried to tell Gavin she was just using his bathroom. But Gavin wasnt stupid, he still isnt. When the women left Gavin told his father to forget about the whole football thing, he didnt need his help anymore. Gavin never told his mother, but ever since Gavin and Greg havent gotten along at all. They fight constantly, and because of that Gavin doesnt even like to be home. However, he has to be sometimes, for his siblings sake at least.
Personality: Gavin is very down to earth and easy to get along with. Most of the time anyways. He use to be involved with a ton of sports and he also use to be very outgoing. Ever since last year he has been a lot more mellow, and laid-back. He still gets along with many of his classmates even the ones who can be not so pleasant. Hes smart he just doesnt really try at all, he could do better but for some reason he just cant seem to care anymore. It use to be all about football with him, now its all about music with him. He bought a guitar and taught himself how to play. He plays his own music, and writes his own lyrics. Thats what he wants to do with his life, he figures you dont need to go to a four year college to write music. Even though hes still involved with sports, and he hangs out with jocks sometimes its not really who he is anymore. Seeing your father with another woman who isnt your mother does something to you, it changes you. It changed Gavin. Gavin is a firm believer in doing things yourself. Hes had jobs of working with hard labor, and he has had jobs at a local music store. Both ways he believes at least hes doing something for himself, away from his family. He hates people who are so helpless and cant do anything for themselves. Most of the snobby people at his school are like that, and he really cant stand that about them. One of his favorite mottos You have two legs, get it yourself.
Extra Curricular Activities: Football.
Editorial: Gavin just trys not to pay attention to them. Its kind of hard not to notice them since they are all over the school, practically half of the school body are players. He doesnt really care about what they do, its their business. Yea, he doesnt think its right to hurt others like that, but its their life not his, and he sure the hell isnt going to tell them how to live it. Unless of course they start messing with someone he cares about, then it has just became his business.

Name: Simone Tirado
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: There's Gotta Be More To Life - Stacie Orrico
History: When Melissa Freeman and Andre Tirado got together most people assumed that theyd be over by the end of the weekif they were lucky. Melissa and Andre were pretty luckyseeing as how theyre still together and happily married. However, their lives now did not come without a hard road. When Melissa and Andre first met she was a high school sophomore and he was a college senior. Melissas parents were furious with her for having a relationship with someone so much older than she. And by the end of junior year, when her older brother alerted her parents that she and Andre were having sex she was booted out of the house without a second thought. Time and time again, Melissa wondered whether the grief her relationship caused her was worth it but in true fairy-tale fashion it took just one look at Andre for her to know that it was. Once she was finished with high school, she and Andre moved to New York from New Jersey. Melissas parents refused to keep contact with her for five years. A family friend gave them the Tirados number and they made the first step towards reconciliation with their daughter. It was around that time Melissa found out she was pregnant with Simone. By that time, Melissa and Andre were well-off Andre making a successful living on Wall Street and Melissa had come to terms to not having her parents in her life. When they made the effort to get to know Melissa again, both Melissa and Andre were hesitant to return the efforts. Melissa refused to let her parents in again so that they could simply turn their back on her or even worse her daughter. But the Freemans were persistant and kept trying to win back their daughters affections. By the time Simone was born, Melissa had become accustomed to her parents nagging her about how her life had been for five years and her resentment to them had subsided. Both Melissa and Andre believed that Simone deserved to be raised in a loving environment and that meant being civil to her parents. Neither of the Freemans held any sort of resentment for their granddaughter and that fact helped Melissa go from being civil to being friendly. While even now twentysome odd years later Melissa still harbors resentment towards her folks, she can honestly say that she knows that she can trust them with her daughters life. Simone was raised in the lifestyle that every only child wants --- spoiled and extremely loved. She was the type of daughter that every mother wanted, every father loved to show pictures of and every grandparent doted on.
Personality: Simone doesnt exactly have a neon sign hanging over her in the crowd, a fact that shes actually proud of. Though that dimpled smile has attracted second glances. There are enough people vying for Miss Popular/Prom Queen; why should she waste her time competing? With what appears to be a perfect lifestyle, Simones personality seems hard to believe. Simone appears to be the type of girl you see in movies and imagine dont exist because they are just so obnoxious, conceited and ignorant. Rest assured that they dont exist because Simone isnt that obnoxious, conceited or ignorant. As a member of the real world she knows that she has to try to get what she wants, which is where her annoying persistence comes in handy. She messes up just like everyone else though shell never admit it her knack for always being late and forgetting things is proof of this. But every time Simone falls, she dusts herself off and blackmails anyone who caught it on tape. Once you get past the layers of make-up and designer clothing, you realize shes your run-of-the-mill moody teenage girl. Shes also extremely annoying for the simple fact that she can never touch a book and still ace the test on it. One of those naturally pretty girls that everyone hates, she can wake up which she does constantly, and still look amazing.
Extra Curricular Activities: Simone is involved in just about every extracurricular activity you could think of. At least the ones worth mentioningcheerleading, el presidente of the Spanish club and occasionally she writes up the lunch menus for the school paper.
Editorial: Idiots? In a word. Guys? That too. Simone learned at some point in freshmen year to stop advocating for the protection of the hearts of her fellow teenage girls and to just let these so-called 'players' play. At some point they'll probably get tired of playing as it is, complaining about it won't help to speed up the process. Besides the waste of breath necessary to condemn them isn't even worth it after four years.
Crush: Unlike most girls who can be found either secretly scribbling some boy's last name paired with their first or professing how so not into another boy they are Simone doesn't mind being called out on her 'crush.' Though that does mean you have to assume that she is 'crushing' on some member of the New York Public student body and we all know what they saw about those who assume. Simone holds herself to high 'diva-like' standards and part of such diva standards include that the men she 'crushes' over must be sex gods in the making. Which is why she'll pair her first name to any of these boy's last name, Damon Vartan, Deacon Spradley and Cameron Atler. These boys for Simone are what make New York Public worth attending.

Song of Choice: Dream On - Aerosmith
History: When an eighteen-year-old Sheila Vartan discovered she was pregnant, she didnt need a fortune teller to predict a complicated and troubling future for her. The father in question was never told, and Sheila had moved from her small suburban home in Dedham, Massachusetts to move with a friend into a small loft in New York City before signs of the baby could show and expose her secret. Six months later, Sheila gave birth to a healthy baby boy. It wasnt long before Sheilas past mistakes were repeated, and thanks to an extra excess of Coors and a broken condom, she found herself pregnant again, this time with Chandlar, a year-and-a-half after her brother. Having two kids before the age of twenty-one isnt recommended for a number of reasons, and while some people find a way to make it work, Sheila fell victim to her trashy archetype. Chandlar and her big brother grew up in a run down Brooklyn flat overlooking the Long Island sound. Neither were too unaccustomed to living off hamburgers in back alley dumpsters or falling asleep at night to the screams of their mother and whatever one-minute-boyfriend she was sporting at the time. Through the years, the stress and seclusion drove Sheila to excessive drinking, and it wasnt before long that her testy temper amplified with each liquor content she consumed. Her brother took the brunt of the assaults that grew more frequent with Sheilas drunken rages, stepping forward whenever she got anywhere near Chandlar. Child services eventually grew suspicious when a ninth grade teacher of her brother's spotted small bruises on his arms. Chandlar's brother kept his mouth shut though, not wanting to be separated from his sister. Liberation came at the end of her brother's junior year when a fight came dangerously close to putting Chandlar in the hospital. Gene Davis, a domestic abuse attorney sympathetic to the Vartans case helped award not only her brother's emancipation, but custody over Chandlar after he could prove he could hold a steady paying job and keep up with school. Chandlar now lives with her brother in a small Brooklyn apartment, holds down a part-time job to help with rent, and tries to lead as normal as a life as possible. Needless to say, its just her and her brother against the world now.
Personality: Quiet. Just one word, yet still, arguably a word so universal that it can inspire many different adjectives or stereotypes associated with it. Not every quiet girl is shy though, just like not all quiet girls are hostile recluses who openly hate the world. Chandlar doesnt keep her mouth shut because shes afraid shell say something stupid. She doesnt suffer from a low self esteem and she doesnt secretly seek the approval of others. Chandlar is just, simply, quiet. Just because Chandlars quiet, doesnt mean shes a complete clueless moron though. Chandlar thrives on observation, and while very few know her name, let alone her life story, she could easily name two-thirds of her classmates, along with their music preferences, physical attributes, and pet peeves in less than a heartbeat. Chandlars developed an acquired knack for walking the shadowed contours of the hallways unnoticed, and shes learned that you can learn a lot more about a person when you catch them in their most vulnerable and unguarded state as opposed to bombarding them with questions. And anyone whoever took the time to get to know her might discover a few surprising attributes of her own. Such as her neurotic obsession for Pez candy dispensers and her love of classic rock (no ones a bigger Aerosmith fan than Chandler, and shell always resolve that music has never been the same since April 8th, 1994). And, finally, she may not have it in her to ever tell anyone to fvck off, but shes not stupid nor is she a pushover. Thats another thing about quiet girls. Some even have spines.
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Soccer (Goalie) and After School Tutoring.
Editorial: Judge not lest ye be judged yourself. Chandlars not sure where she heard that probably a Metallica song, but its something shes always lived by. She cant say anything about anyone associated with the stereotype without pointing out the fact that most girls who get involved walk in completely aware of what the end result might be. Its only when someone goes out of their way to manipulate another person that she finds it hard to turn her head. Its one thing when both parties are fully aware of whats going on. Its another when one party is strung along blindly, and to put it simply: its one of the most screwed up things any one person could do.
Crush: Its a well known fact that most good girls end up falling for the guys they know they very well shouldnt. Growing up, Chandlar always had a child hood crush on both Jacob Dimera and Gideon Jones. Jacob, the brother of her best friend, just always happened to be around, and half the incentive to visit the Dimera household lied in Jacob alone. Gideon, perhaps, was a more shallow crush on Chandlars part, as its obvious the boy was blessed with good genes. Through the years though, Chandlars grown out of her high school bad boy crush stage, and now looks to a one Miguel Lopez. Is he any better than the previous two mentioned guys? She cant say for sure. But he seems far less likely to mutter obscene obscenities in the middle of class or blow up at something frivolous at the drop of a hat; an attribute not typical to most boys in this day and age.

Name: Damon Vartan
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: Walk This Way Aerosmith
History: When an eighteen-year-old Sheila Vartan discovered she was pregnant, she didn't need a fortune teller to predict a complicated and troubling future for her. The father in question was never told, and Sheila had moved from her small suburban home in Dedham, Massachusetts to move with a friend into a small loft in New York City before signs of the baby could show and expose her secret. Six months later, Sheila gave birth to Damon. It wasn't long before Sheila's past mistakes were repeated, and thanks to an extra excess of Coors and a broken condom, she found herself pregnant again, this time with Chandlar, a year-and-a-half after her brother. Having two kids before the age of twenty-one isn't recommended for a number of reasons, and while some people find a way to make it work, Sheila fell victim to her trashy archetype. Chandlar and Damon grew up in a run down Brooklyn flat overlooking the Long Island sound. Neither were too unaccustomed to living off hamburgers in back alley dumpsters or falling asleep at night to the screams of their mother and whatever one-minute-boyfriend she was sporting at the time. Through the years, the stress and seclusion drove Sheila to excessive drinking, and it wasn't before long that her testy temper amplified with each liquor content she consumed. Damon took the brunt of the assaults that grew more frequent with Sheila's drunken rages, stepping forward whenever she got anywhere near Chandlar. Child services eventually grew suspicious when a ninth grade teacher of Damon's spotted small bruises on his arms. He kept his mouth shut though, not wanting to be separated from his sister. Liberation came at the end of her brother's junior year when a fight came dangerously close to putting Chandlar in the hospital. Gene Davis, a domestic abuse attorney sympathetic to the Vartans' case helped award not only her brother's emancipation, but custody over Chandlar after he could prove he could hold a steady paying job and keep up with school. Damon now lives with his sister in a small Brooklyn apartment. Damon works two jobs; one as a waiter in an upscale restaurant, and the other as a Starbucks barista, which is how he manages to stay awake during class. Needless to say, it's just Damon and Chandlar against the world now.
Personality: Most of the time, Damon is that guy everyone knows of and knows a little about, but ultimately doesn't know very well. He's the epitome of that seemingly nice guy who sits behind you in English, who you occasionally talk to and see around campus, but when asked about him as a person or his background, you struggle to remember his last name. It's Vartan, but it's exactly the way he likes it. His life has not been easy, but you'll never hear him whine about it because there's nothing he hates more. Around the few people he considers to be friends, he'll let his guard down and show a more humorous, goofy side. Though he considers Chandlar to be his best friend, he tries not to act so crazy and immature around her anymore, keeping it under wraps so he can still take care of her. He's smart enough to know she would probably do a better job as his guardian, and tries his hardest to make sure he's doing right by her. He takes a lighter approach when it comes to the rest of the world; you do wrong by him or Chandlar, you're going to be wronged yourself.
Extra Curricular Activities: He used to play basketball, but junior year was his last year.
Editorial: Many of his acquaintances would label themselves players. He hasn't quite fallen into the game they all play, but doesn't do anything to stop it either. The only point when he'd get involved is if any of them tried to mess with Chandlar.

Taken By: Otep
Name: Meadow Warner
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Song of Choice: It Runs In The Blood - Most Precious Blood
History: Meadow was born into a family with a long history of mental disorders. Too many to really list but her mother is bi-polar, her father is a schizophrenic. Meadow was born seemingly normal though. She does not appear to have any real problems, at least none like her parents. Her grandparents also appear to have a lot of mental problems. No one really understood how a child who was born into a family as deluted as hers came out as normal as she did. Well that was when she was younger. When Meadow turned ten years old she started to become very paranoid, and very anxious a lot. She also began to act out as well...her teacher suggested she see a therepist, who in turn put her on a lot of drugs to keep her under control. No one really could understand what was wrong with her. The doctor said it could be a result of so many different mental disorders mixed into one, but the drugs did seem to keep her calm and under control. When she takes them. She has a very short tenson span as well, and some people even like to call her crazy, or insane. Just because she does what she wants. When Meadow was sixteen she walked into her house one day, and heard the sound of the bathtub running. She figured her mom was in the shower. She walked in and saw her mother attempting to jump out the window of the ten story apartment building. She stopped her but her mother was sent away to a hospital to get help. Meadow has not seen her or heard from her since. Now she lives alone with her father, who seems to be getting worse by the days and Meadow is doing everything in her power to keep him from being taken away from her as well. Thanks to the drugs she is on, she seems to be able to hold on to her reality grip a little bit better.
Personality: Well when you come from a family as really messed up as hers it is kind of hard to be open-minded, friendly, outgoing, loving, or lovable or really any of that good stuff. Meadow is someone who perfers to be left alone. She hates when people approch her, she does not approch anyone, she likes to be left alone. She is scared people will think she is a psycho, which in some ways she just as well might be, she knows people talk about her but she doesn''t care. She has more important things in her life to worry about. Meadow is not someone who's bad side you want to get on. She will not hesitate to tear you apart if you anger her. And yes...she has mood swings.
Extra Curricular Activities: Like she has time?
Editorial: Player? Is she really supposed to give a damn about some human who takes pleasure in others pain? Hell maybe if her life were normal she would be able to but really...who cares?
