Name: Claudia Cabrelli
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice:
History: When she was ten, Claudia Cabrelli put her father's nine millimeter to her right temple and pulled the trigger. The doctors were mystified. By all accounts, the Cabrellis were a happy and well-adjusted family. Grandpa Cabrelli had the idealized immigrant fairy tale: he came to the country without a penny and made a fortune through various endeavors. By the time his only son, Nico Cabrelli, inherited the empire, Cabrelli Industries was one of the top three producers of cooking oils, yeast and cornmeal. Nico married Patricia Stockwell and produced five children: Cristiano, Zara, Claudia, Ernesto, and Ignazio. Psychological evaluations of the other four children found them to be in sound physical and mental health. Their parents were not abusive - in fact, they were as attentive and loving as could be. After a thorough examination, the psychiatrists were left baffled as to why anyone - especially a little ten year old girl - would attempt suicide in such a nurturing environment. Claudia herself never gave any reason. She lived, obviously, and was wheeled home two weeks later with a metal plate in her head. Since then, she's been stabbed (twelve stitches to the neck), sliced (thirty-six to the wrists, combined), hung, drowned, burned (well, partially. It was quickly put out), and run over by a truck (somehow, she only managed to break her left ankle). Every event is taken care of in secrecy through the Cabrelli's money and power. Still carrying their traditional distrust of doctors and psychologists, the Cabrellis refuse to have Claudia committed. They pump her full of medication and allow her to roam around, watching her like hawks.
Personality: Not surprisingly, Claudia's favorite topic of conversation is death, that is, for the few who's able to talk to her. It's not that Claudia's unfriendly, it's just that most people are scared to death of her. It's no wonder, because Claudia tends to talk to people who aren't there. Whether that's a product of her heavy medications, is unknown. Sometimes, she barks to them. Yes, communicating through animal noises is perfectly normal for Claudia Cabrelli. Even when she's not howling at her imaginary friends, she's still a bit of a kook to talk to. Claudia will happily discuss every grotesque detail of her death, yours, your mother's and your parakeet's. "Morbid" doesn't even begin to describe her. And like every good crazy person, Claudia's got a short temper and a violent streak. At all times, she carries in her backpack: a Bowie knife, a wrench and a stake. But no pepper spray. Pepper spray's for wusses.
Extra Curricular Activities: Unless there's a Death Club, none.
Editorial: Don't these people have anything else better to do? Like, setting a house on fire or something? Amateurs. If these bastards are going to end up in hell for, well, being bastards, they might as well have some real fun.

Name: Aurelia Callaghan
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Perfect - Simple Plan
History: For Juilet Larsen, life was never easy. See, her family had arranged her marriage since she was the age of five. Even though, Juliet fought as hard as she could to get out of it, nothing could convince her parents to change otherwise. Soon, the big day had arrived and Juliet married Samuel Callaghan. They both despise each other at first and as time passed, both found they had a lot in common. At the age of twenty-three, Juliet had their first son, Chris and a few years down the track, Jon, Katia and the youngest daughter, Aurelia. All the boys in the family were named by Aurelia's father, who wanted simple common names, while the girls are named by their mother, who wanted something very unique and unusual. Chris is now twenty-five and got married a couple of years ago. His wife and him now have a two month son, Ryder and is running his father's firm, learning as much as he can. Jon is twenty-one and recently out of college. He wants to explore more on his love for music and wants a career out of that. Katia, who's nineteen is at the University of California studying for her love on journalism. She wants to hopefully get into the business after she finishes school. Lastly, Aurelia, the youngest and baby of the group, well let's just say her parents' moved along with her to New York to get the best education they could provide for her and yet, even without the knowledge from Aurelia, they wanted to keep an eye on her and make her stay out of trouble.
Personality: Words can't really sum up the personality of Aurelia Callaghan. One minute, she can be someone you would despise and the next she can be your friend. Some think it's because Aurelia has problems, but it is far from that. Aurelia will argue with you saying it's everyday thing for teenagers or tell you to shove it. Sure, Aurelia might sound like a b*tch, but she is just a big cynic. Catch on her on a good day, she will the most to spend with you, but a bad day, well that's something you wouldn't want to do.
Extra Curricular Activities: Art Club, Varsity Girl's Volleyball and Student Council.
Editorial: She thinks of these so called 'players' as something she wouldn't want to deal with. Why would people even do this to another human being? Transmitting diseases to one person to another, seems just so wrong to Aurelia. It's so just so disgusting how this one person you could love could do this to you and you could live with this forever. Not to mention all the heartaches and heartbreaks, the poor person has to go through.
Crush: Crush? The joys of crushing on a classmate. Really, did you think this was even possible for Aurelia? It probably is, but the thought of someone finding out who she likes is going to extremely slim. Usually, this kind of crushing is kept close to Aurelia's heart and for the whole public to know, is something a girl wouldn't want. Firstly, there is Connor Drake. She has liked him since the beginning of the school year, but knows of his "player" status. Could she really trust this guy? Probably not, but the way his personality is constructed draws Aurelia to him. Oh, then there is Damon Vartan. Something about him always has draws her to him. Maybe because his good looking or the way he manages himself, Aurelia will never know.

Name: Orion DeGarmo
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Longview - Green Day
History: Orion was born into a somewhat middle class family. The third of five children, Orion was never really the center of attention. The typical middle child, he felt almost left out. His family tried to spread the love among their children equally, but it just wasn't happening for Orion. At least that is how he felt growing up. At school, he acted at for attention at a young age. Trouble maker at school during his childhood, by the time he hit middle school...his parents wanted to set him straight. So they sent him off to boot camp. When he returned home, he was a changed person. More mellow was more like it. He was also put in therpy for a couple years after that. By the time he hit high school, he was out of therpy. Mellow as they come. He never got into trouble much. He managed to have average grades. Becoming somewhat popular, he is the same ol' same ol' guy up to this day.
Personality: He rolls with the punches. Calm, cool, laid back as anybody could be. He is the type everybody likes to hang out with and drink a couple with. Maybe a bit on the lazy side compared to most. Why be in a rush when you can have fun?
Extra Curricular Activities: art club...skate boarding...roller blading
Editorial: Whatever dude...it is all good if they want to go sticking whatever they can get their hands on. Some are even fun to party with...some have the best stuff money can buy. But just leave him alone when it comes to his fun time. Don't kill his buzz. If they want to be big ol' man hoes and get every STDs in the face of the earth, then by all means keep playing that game.
Target: He isn't much for having crushes. Though if he'd have to say one person he has always been attracted to that would have to be Charlotte McAdams. She probably isn't his type or more so him, but hey she is still pretty look at.

Name: Carys Diaz
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Bitch - Meredith Brooks
History: Stephanie Murphy graduated college at the usual age of twenty-two, and the first thing she did was rally up a group of girlfriends to take to the Bahamas. As soon as they arrived, the islands were tortured by a hurricane, and Stephanie reluctantly sat in her bedroom, glaring out the window. Enter the cleaning boy, Diego Diaz, fresh from Cuba and new to his summer job. A small attraction began just from his clumsy entrance, as he tripped over his soap bucket while fumbling with the keys. They spent the next fourteen days with Stephanie helping Diego improve his English, and her friends watched her striking find with awe. Young Ms. Murphy, never one to let something go so easily, bought Diego a ticket back to Pennsylvania and they spent almost too much time together, eventually marrying and having their first child, Ruben. Two years later, Carys was brought into the world shortly after the family moved to New York. Diego and Stephanie ended their baby-making after Daniela was born. The two daughters were born with flowing blonde hair and shiny blue eyes, while Ruben has brown hair, blue eyes, and his fathers natural bronze tan. The Diaz studio
Personality: Carys state of mind is often on and off, sometimes causing her to feel that she can talk to whoever she wants in whichever way. And that is what gets passed around school: the assumption that shes a bitch. Shes not bitchy. Just honest to some. She doesnt think about what she says before she speaks, and it usually leads her to bad situations and confrontation, something Carys has never liked. The prototype of determined, Carys always strives to get what she wants. If not gotten, she either works harder to get it or drops it like a bad habit. All evil assumptions of her aside, she attempts to be nice to everyone, but who can honestly always be nice? There are bad days. The one quality that she likes about herself is that shes generous, and is always willing to help someone with something. She doesnt know why she has that abnormal mentality, but its there. Shes just a pushover when it comes to saying no.
Extra Curricular Activities: Choir & Varsity Cheerleading
Editorial: Carys couldnt pick them out of lineup. She doesnt pay enough attention to who is seen strolling down the hall, leaving a girl crumpled in tears by her locker. She thinks its horrible to use girls for sex, fun, and revenge and hopes that karma eventually comes back and gets at their asses.
Crush: Being oblivious to who the players of high school are, Carys still wouldn't lose her longtime crush on Richard Johnson if she discovered his ways. She can remember back in the days of church, staring at the back of his head wondering just who he was. She's never forgotten his name or face. She rarely sees him though, as they are a grade apart. She does get to see one boy almost every day: Riley Walters. Carys only recently let his subtle good looks entrance her.

Name: Soleil Dupont
Age: Fifteen, going on Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: We Are The Champions - Queen
History: People often wonder what the hell Soleils parents were thinking when they decided to have a kid. But thats just it, they werent. No one can exactly chalk this up to a careless night of partying though or a game of seduction that went seriously wrong. Allison Grangers and Henry Dupont werent out pissing off (drunk not angry, people) and they werent heavily sedated or drugged up. They simply thought that having sex would be fun, so, hey, they did it. And unfortunately, they suffered the consequences. They suffered the consequences at twenty and twenty-two, but they still suffered them no less. When Allison realized she was pregnant, it wasnt long before a few really suck worthy decisions had to be made on her part. A junior at a state university (the name isnt important), she had to quit and get herself a job, because hey, she was with child, child would need food, and she had some pretty weird cravings herself. Henry carried on with work, but it was decided early on that the two would not marry. They werent in love, and they couldnt foresee themselves falling in love, so really, what would have been the point? None. Youre right. Congrats. Soleil, Allisons only daughter, grew up in a relatively normal environment, or as normal as one could get with a single parent. But the girl herself somehow ended up straying along the line. Many people will attribute this to not having a strong father figure in her life. Henry sends a check once a month, and arrives on birthdays and Christmas, but thats pretty much about it. This is obvious in the early drawings of family every kid makes in the first grade; Soleils consisting of her in dark clothes, her mom with long hair, and her a big sign saying Somewhere pointing off the page that supposedly represented her father. From there, she pretty much continued to develop this way. Now Soleil impulsively picks things off the floor, makes little EEP! noises at entirely random moments, and sandpapers lockers. You know, normal kid stuff.
Personality: It would be so easy to label Soleil the reclusively sinister Kleptomaniac head case. In fact, the very few who know her (and this is pretty much reserved to just counselors and other head cases just like her) do think of her that way. What can I say? Its really not too far off from the truth. Soleil pretty much just keeps to herself, glaring at anyone who dare approach her. She also steals things compulsively, though theyre so completely random and insignificant that hardly anyone ever notices; an eraser here, a screw there, your credit card Shes also somewhat of a compulsive liar, except youd probably never guess it, because one, shed never actually talk to you, and two, you probably dont even realize she exists in the first place. Despite her arcane and aberrant ways, theres something almost methodical in her madness. Almost as if she knows something that the rest of the world has since become blind to. Then again, she could just be crazy. The latter is probably more like it.
Extra Curricular Activities: Hah.
Editorial: Its a chore just to remember the names of her teachers. You think she could actually be bothered with knowing what the hell a player was in the first place, let alone who they are? Psh.
Crush: I could write something here, but itd only become redundant. Look above.

Name: Berlin Holmes
Age: Seventeen
Grade: 11th/Junior
Song Of Choice: I'm No Angel - Dido
History: Berlin Holmes is the seventeen-year-old secret of New York Senator, Donovan Pierce. The result of his mid-life crises and Emily Holmes longing to feel loveBerlin is the only remnant of their three-month affair. While he quietly slips a check into a nearby mailbox every month, Donovan offers nothing other than financial support. She was raised entirely by Emily, a subtle free spirit and utter feminist who edits for Washingtons number one newspaper. There is no wonder as to why Berlin is growing up to be nothing like the conservative, Republican absentee father who will never acknowledge her existence to anyone, particularly his suspicious wife and the vulture-like press.
Personality: An inquisitive mind, Berlin drove Emily to the brink of insanity with the prying question why? in reference to just about anything. While having since abandoned the need to tug the hem of her mothers shirt in hopes of getting a complete explanation of the universe, Berlin still questions everything. This analytical behavior leads her highly susceptible to headaches and with logical reason to disregard any rule that doesnt have understandable justification. While Berlin was never deemed a trouble child, she is far from docile or complaisant and can become livid when forced to do something simply because an adult (or other superior) said so. While she likes to logically break down aspects of life and traits of individuals, anyone who tries to do the same with Berlin Holmes will fail miserably. An enigma hidden behind dark sunglasses, Berlin Holmes remains a mystery despite her direct statements, blunt nature and seemingly open persona. Just in case you were wondering, Berlin is like her father in one way she too can keep a secret.
Extra Curricular Activities: None.
Editorial: There may be a way to rationalize the whorish behaviour of her peers, but Berlin isn't going to bother to do such a thing. Their 'Wham, Bam Thank You Ma'am' mentality makes her think that they have nothing more substantial than a good lay to offer, thus making her not bother to give them a second look (for the most part anyway). Afterall, their incredibly sex drive seems to be, mainly, overcompensation for sub-par personalities. What Berlin truly cannot understand is why girls subject themselves to a relationship that may primarily only have STDs to offer.
Crush: When it comes to Berlin, infatuations have proven time and again to be fleeting. While a boy may succeed in catching her attention one week, the next it's very likely that she has altogether forgotten of his existence. Her short attention span does have one exception: namely Cedric Pembrooke. While it's highly unlikely that Berlin will ever be lowered to the state of stopping to gawk in appreciation, when he is around she has a tendency to take notice. While the accent may lure others in, it's the blatant fact that Cedric seems too good to be true that truly intrigues Berlin. She loves a good mystery, and the simple fact that Cedric seems to be more than meets the eye (both in good ways and bad) is something Berlin finds fascinating--but that's one of her little secrets.

Name: Laken Knowles
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice:
History: Refer to Parker
Personality: Laken is really like no other girl youd ever crossed paths with. Of course she participates in extra curricular activities such at cheerleading only to masquerade the fact that she isnt as innocent as she seems. Most think of her as your typical girly girl, never having a hair out of place and it was always dead straight no matter the weather. Well, there is a musician screaming inside of her. Her Ramones shirt is hidden under her designer clothes and her guitar is neatly tucked under her bed and if anyone were to walk into her room she would scream like no other drama queen. Shes very quiet in front of most girls, and temperamental in front of the boys yet they are still attracted to her and she knows its because of her exterior. She has learnt from her older brother to deal with men a certain way. Like he uses females, she likes to use men.
Extra Curricular Activities: Cheerleadering, Soccer, and Student Council
Current Tally: 10. 5 college boys, 4 seniors from a private school and 1 junior. When it comes to whom she screws, she likes to take her time picking. Actually making it a game and not just going for anyone. She usually likes to target a group of friends. Then she can get around easier and in the end they dont know who is telling the truth so they dont gossip.

Name: Audrey Lawson
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice:Elsewhere - Sarah McLachlan
History: Audrey's mother Shannon became pregnant at the shy age of sixteen years old. Shannon told Audrey's father that she was pregnant, he bailed. He couldn't handle it, he had so many dreams so he left. He left her with a child all by himself. Shannon worked very hard to make sure Audrey wouldn't end up like her. When she was eighteen she moved out of her parents house with Audrey. They moved to New York so Shannon could try and accomplish her dream of becoming an actress. Things didn't work otu that way though, instead they got a really cheap apartment. Audrey has been raising her mother practically her entire life, her mother would work at the diner late and Audrey would take care of her when she came home. Shannon only wants the best for her daughter. Audrey is in many activities and she is definetly at the top of her class. Shes hoping to get scholarships to the schools she wants to go to, because she knows they can't afford it. Audrey and Shannon recently have moved into a nicer home, its definetly not like most the peoples at her school, however, its better. Audrey continues taking care of her mother, she hides her pain of not being able to be like a normal teenager.
Personality: Audrey has always been a very sweet girl. As well as responsible and reliable. She's been taking care of her mother since she was four. Shes still taking care of her. Sometimes she resents the fact that she can't go out and have fun like everyone else. She has a job and responsibilities that most people don't have. It's getting better now, Audrey has been hanging out with a lot more people lately. She's very intelligent, and she tutours at her school all the time. She really likes tutouring people. Shes very tired and overworked, she just needs to relax and have a good time. Shes very independent and she knows how to take care of herself. Shes self-conscious and shes also kind of lonely. She isn't a wimp, shes knows how to take care of herself yet she is quite innocent. She can also be very naive at times, she can't help it theres times when she only wants to see the good in people. She's not stupid though, she knows some people just can't seem to change..
Extra Curricular Activities: Choir, Art, Drama, and Tutouring.
Editorial: Audrey knows of them, thats it. She doesn't really know any of them personally, she just knows of the reputations. She doesn't really pay attention to them though, she has too many other obligations she has to worry about. Yet sometimes a few of them will catach her eye, and sometimes she just wonders what it would be like to be them. To be rich and have not a care in the world. To be free from responsibility and worry.

Name: Coral *CC* Cortez-Lyones
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Stupid Girl - Garbage
History: Adriana Cortez. The very name would be liable to bring a man to his knees, a proverbial puddle on the floor. This Brazilian model came from nothing and turned herself into something. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Adriana's mother could do nothing with her life but housekeeping, finding herself, because of her own good looks, keeping house with some of the most rich Brazilian benefactors of her time. Before long, word had gotten out of the beautiful young girl who was willing to do anything for a dollar, and she was turned from a maid to a veritable Marilyn Monroe of Brazil. Her life was good. She was young(barely 17 at the time), doing well with her life, and had nothing on her mind but dancing, singing, and a few little sweet nothings here and there to keep her little life afloat. Her life changed when she met Walter Lyones, a man coming from old money and in Rio for vacation. Two days later she was married to the man with the money, and only 2 weeks later she was pregnant with Coral. 9 months later Coral was born, an almost exact replica of her mother, and the pride and joy of Walter. She grew up with a mother that didn't know how to take care of her and a father didn't have the time to look at her much. Coral was alone most of the time, her mother flying to Milan, Paris, L.A, and occasionally coming back to the big apple for photo shoots. She was an 18 model, and she wasn't going to let her daughter come in the way of that. Coral had a life full of everything she could ever need, but the only thing that she ever wanted was validation from her parents that they might actually care, instead of being the veritable trophy daughter she became.
Personality: People say that past behavior and previous history can predict the rest of someone's life and personality. Coral is no exception to the rule. Promiscuous, full of money, and starved for attention, Coral walks the streets like she owns them, and she very well could. As Two-Faced as they come, Coral knows that there are two very different sides to every person, and her first one is the one that everyone sees. When she's alone she's far more reclusive than most people would ever know, not wanting to bring on the attention that she craves every other second of the day, she acts out while she'sgone and stays sheltered while she's home. If her parents paid any attention to her they would probably find her a complete enigma. She's not even fully sure she understands herself. But she can find absolutely no outlet for the things that she doesn't understand, and eventually just tries to filter all her emotions through the only thing she got form her mother, her looks. She goes through guys faster than you can count on two hands, and while she might have earned the reputation of being easy, she doesn't care anymore. As long as she's got a distraction and a little bit of money to buy back anything she mightlose in pride. Louis Vitton, Ralph Lauren, and Giorgio Armani have become her best friends, and 5th Avenue her second home. On some days she'll spend as much as her credit card will allow, and she never wears the same thing twice. Vain? Not really. But she fears that the attention she demands will leave her if she ever shows the slightest sign of weakness. Therefore, she makes up what she doesn't have in integrity with her overall presence. Charismatic, and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, she constantly finds herselfpushing the limits for appropriate school dress and almost weekly has the 'decency' talk with the vice principal. Questionable Behavior is her middle name, and she doesn't remotely care as long as it keeps her deep rooted restlessness off the radar.
Extra Curricular Activities: ....... Does shopping count?
Editorial: What does Coral think of the players? She figures they must be even more messed up than her if they not only have to sleep with a lot of people but have to make them feel horrible after. So, I guess they make her feel pretty good about her situation.
Crush: Being somewhat bordering on 'boy-crazy', Coral's stopped keeping track of all the guys that she's been attracted to, officially. Her diary holds every single fantasy you could possibly imagine about the boys at her school, but she keeps that far out of arms length from people. Sure, if she really wants someone, she'll leave a page or so here and there for them to read and indulge in themselves, but most of her private thoughts stay that way, private. The list as it stands now? Well. There is her almost schoolgirlish crush on Scott Noland, which she hasn't worked terribly hard at masking. Then there's Gideon Jones, and Cedric Pembrooke, who are both, in one word, cute. The top on her list, though? Riley Walters.

Name: Erin McKinely
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice:
History: Rita McKinely died while giving birth to Erin, due to complications. She and her husband, Willard, had been married for three and a half years, when they decided to give parenthood a try. They were extremely excited when Rita announced she was pregnant. After Rita's death, Willard was devasted. There were many dark moments during that time that still haunt him and he doesn't dare think about. But when he woke up one day hung over and realized it was his daughter's second birthday, something snapped inside of him, and he realized he needed to get on with his life and do everything he could to take care of his only child. After a few years, Willard was working a better job, and he was able to give Erin a good life in New York. Today, Erin is truly a daddy's girl. Though Willard never remarried, he finds Erin the most important thing in his life and is very protective of his little girl.
Personality: Erin McKinely is your typical girl next-door. She is beautiful, sweet, and truly cares about others feelings. She is the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back if you had nothing else to wear. She hates to see people suffering, and goes out of her way to help everyone around her. Erin is the one setting up the Student Council bake sales, and usually ends up with clean-up detail since she never has the heart to say no. She is always seen around New York Public with a huge smile on her face. She doesn't like to waste her time by having a bad day. Maybe, one of her biggest downfalls is trying to please everyone, because she would hate for anyone not to like her. She never does things for herself, and sometimes, all the extra work she does for everyone else leaves her completely stressed out at the end of the day. At this rate, she will surely end up with a nervous breakdown, but people hardly see anything past Erin's good attitude.
Extra Curricular Activities: Student Council, Peer Mentor.
Editorial: It pains her deeply to imagine there are males at her school that purposely hurt girls, just for the fun of it. While she hates to see anyone get hurt, she feels more sorry for the guys involved since obviously they have severe emotional problems to do this in the first place.
Crush: It would seem that a girl like Erin McKinely would have guys stopping by her house every Friday night for a date. However, when it comes to matters of the heart, she is reluctant to just go out with any boy who asks. You might call it picky, but Erin just likes to avoid getting her heart broken, like it seems every other girl in school is going through. This isn't to say that she doesn't keep her eye out for Mr. Right at all times. For the moment, she can't seem to get Jacob Dimera out of her head. She finds his ability to be so spontaneous fascinating, especially since she can't do anything if it isn't all ready planned in her planner.

Name: Kornelia *Nell* Morrison
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Stop Me June (Little Ego) - Kent
History: The year was 1975 when Tamara Harris met Jimmy Morrison in college in Miami, Florida. Or met, it wasnt exactly a secret that the sweet little girl that was Tamara had had her eyes set on Jimmy for quite some time already, it was just he who was blunt enough not to realise it. However, they finally got together and married in Las Vegas three years later. Imagine that. Despite the rush and their doubting friends the couple stuck together at all times, through thick and thin. After being married for seven years they had a son, Leo. When Leo was two years old the next child came along. This time a daughter, Kornelia. The two siblings grew up as best friends, even though they were as different as night and day. Or perhaps even more. The wealthy little family soon moved to New York, where Jimmy began working as a veterinarian, while Tamara stayed home to raise the kids. Three years ago Jimmy met a woman named Molly during a surgery (a guinea-pig that had swallowed a poisonous mushroom of some sort and some bloke with too much money for his own good insisted on them trying to heal the poor little thing instead of putting it down. They failed by the way). Molly and Jimmy hit it off right away, and five months later he was on a plan back to Miami, with Molly by his side. The bastard. With that said, Tamara didnt feel the need to grieve or sue him or yell at random people or anything like that. Instead, she went to the bar and found herself another man. Yes, that went fast, but taking it slow has never been this familys melody. The new man, Michael, moved in with the threesome just a few weeks later, and well...thats how things are present time. Tamara in the kitchen, Michael (a very successful lawyer by the way) providing for his newly won family and Leo and Kornelia struggling to survive high school. How these two children handled the quick change of fathers? Well, they didnt like it much, go figure, but they still keep in touch with their real father occasionally. Or no, Leo talks to him on the phone now and then, while Kornelia still finds him repulsive after what he did to his family and hasnt talked to him since he left.
Personality: Angry red-haired rebel? Yes, but not only. Kornelia is actually (believe it or not) insecure and quiet. Shes the owner of a very low self-esteem, and therefore the very harsh-looking surface. But despite those not-so-charming qualities she also has the ability to make people feel confident around her. Perhaps, as she likes to call it, they surrounding environment with its people is sucking the confidence out of her and using it for itself. Hmm, yes...or maybe not, but thats her theory. Another thing about her, good or bad is yet to be decided, is that she is, in all times, herself. She would never try to blend in with the crowd to disappear or pretend to be someone else, not even in the strangest and most embarrassing situation. This bit about her has a tendency of causing complications though, as she is also very stubborn and determined. She doesnt say much, but when she does its worth taking seriously. Not necessarily because of the content of the words coming from her mouth (she tends to ramble when she gets nervous, which is quite often really), but for the fact that she doesnt just talk to anyone out of the blue. Most likely its either for 1) she finds you interesting and respects what youre saying, or 2) she hates you and your opinions. With minor exceptions made, obviously.
Extra Curricular Activities: Art Club and Newspaper.
Editorial: Players are a bunch of guys who have sunken to the same deep levels as her father has, meaning they can all just back off and leave her alone. Although there is still one of these so-called players she accepts: her brother. Not for what hes doing, she hates that bit about him and wishes he would somehow come to his senses and give up that unpleasant lifestyle of his, but for his whole being. So far he is the only person in their messed up little family that has yet to let her down.
Crush: None really, as she isnt all that interested in checking out the so called guys (read: morons) that attend this school. Not only because an increasing majority of them are players, but also for the simple reason that she just choose to look at them as friends (or morons) instead. However, like with so many other things in life, there will always be exceptions. One of these exceptions spell Charlie Brown. Why? Because his real...or what do you say again? To put it this way; hes no player, and hes not fake. Maybe not the nicest person you could come across, but still always himself, which is an important quality. Another exception (though perhaps not quite as big) is Taylor Jennings, although hed be far more interesting if he wasnt a player. Same with Atticus Stafford.

Name: Cayden OConnor
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Bad Reputation - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
History: Family values; the OConnor family is often mentioned in regards to the theory that the family continues to be functional, an irony that their peers and they themselves are fully aware of yet their parents remain oblivious towards. Despite the fundamental good looks and moral righteousness they were raised to possess, the OConnor siblings are the epitome of destructive behavior as they maliciously destroy their peers and still manage to fit in church every Sunday. While frequently people blame the parents for the ways in which their children resulted, Catharine and Landon OConnor are genuinely good people who have been deceived, along with many others, by the ruse that the OConnor kids so regularly pull. The story of Catharine and Landon seems straight out of a Hallmark movie; they met in college and carried on a three-year courtship while both maintained their virginity until the Honeymoon. Ten months following their union, Jayden OConnor was born followed by three other kids. Many would expect the children of such inherently virtuous people to be good role models; but theyre as good of an example as Kathryn Merteuil was for Cecile Caldwell. While the marriage of Catharine and Landon has proven to be a great success, their offspring is less than admirable. Of course, their parents are oblivious to the abhorrent behavior of their children which is well hidden behind plastic smiles and faux ethics.
Personality: In her book Anne of Green Gables L.M. Montgomery asks the question It's so easy to be wicked without knowing it, isn't it? The case of Cayden OConnor proves that even being aware of such a fact about ones self does not stop such iniquity from being painless. The least likely of the bunch to be spotted dancing drunkenly on dining room tables at the kegger of the week, Cayden may have a more subdued personality yet her own depravity is seen when you watch the keen manipulation with which she destroys egos and annihilates her supposed friends. Not nearly as sexually blatant as her sisters can be, Cayden is much more selective with the opposite sex and has gained a reputation as being a tease. She prefers to call herself a reminder of what many cant have, but such a detail is trivial. With few exceptions, she considers herself to be out of everyones league. If you face the facts, they back her up; ranked number one in the junior class, shes not stupid as her mastery of almost everyone and every situation has proved time and time again. While shes less outspoken, Cayden is no less noticeable than her siblings and she is rightfully feared along with her brothers and sisters. That foreboding statement of watch out for the quiet ones is particularly valid in the case of Cayden OConnorin the vein of Brutus, shell most definitely be willing to stab the back of her peers whenever she makes such an opportunity appear.
Extra Curricular Activities: Varsity Lacrosse (Co-Captain), French Club, National Honor Society
Editorial: The term Childs Play comes to mind whenever the actions of a player is mentioned. While they may have screwed enough to be certifiable carpenters, Cayden is not the least bit impressed. Sure, she does find some of them to be attractive on a level but if she ever felt the urge to go there it is guaranteed that she would be the one who took advantage in the end.
Crush: Crush? Cayden? That hasn't happened since seventh grade and it ended badly for the foolish boy that decided he wasn't going to ask Cayden to the end of the year dance. While Cayden always gets her way in the end, she isn't likely to pursue anyone who she could see herself becoming emotionally attached to. Her blatant flirtation with the likes of Grayson Frampton? That doesn't mean a thing. The constant rolling of her eyes and drawn out sighs whenever Cameron Atler is in her presence have far more meaning.

Name: Indiana Protg
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Colour Blind- Counting Crows
History: Indiana doesnt really have a bounding history like some kids these days. She is the youngest child out of four born to Joe and Carolina Protg. They were married straight after college after their parents introduced them to each other. As they say one thing leads to another. All the girls in the family are named after states and her brothers are named after car manufactures. Virginia is thirty and is happily married with a child a boy called Washington. She wanted to carry the tradition. God knows why. Holden is twenty- six and has a degree in advertising and is working in New- York. Ford is twenty- two, he is currently at the University of Phoenix working on his Bachelor of Business. Indiana found herself in New York when she realised that her town was too small for her to get along with anyone. After many phone calls from Carolina to Holden. Indiana moved in with her brother and is ecstatic about being there.
Personality: It is very hard to pin point a couple of words that describe Indianas personality. I guess thats normal when teenagers reach a certain age. Its a time where they rebel against society and they want to be independent and different. On many occasions Indiana was labelled as the rebel of the town back home, but to them a rebel is being outside of the house past twelve and indulging in a couple of bottles of beer, but Indiana knows when to party and when to do some work. She is very work-orientated. If she goes out on a Saturday night she knows to come back and work all of Sunday and will not go to bed until she has finished her homework. She is very opinionated and a couple of people mistake her as being temperamental. Shes your average teenage girl, with a couple of twists.
Extra Curricular Activities: Honors Choir, Student Council and Art Club
Editorial: She has really never experienced the environment of being around players that take their game very seriously. Her brother has warned her of the boys in New York and now she is intrigued to find out more, but she believes it is pathetic if a guy finds pressure in breaking a girls heart.

Name: Tatiana Reid
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Deanne The Arsonist - Atreyu
History: Lillian Winchester had everything. At least thats what close matriarchs of the family would say whenever their dear friend was asked about her estranged daughter. The details all vary, and are really quite skewed: she was unhappy with her boring, methodical life; the expectations of high society life were stifling, she got knocked up by the pool boy; everyone had an opinion, and Lillian was across state borders before she could give any of it much thought in the end. Its really quite simple though. Lillian fell in love. Unfortunately, his blue collar working family didnt have the financial backing Lillians parents would have been looking for, for their precious daughter, and quite frankly, he wouldnt have been good enough for her. So they left. And they lived happily ever after if you can consider seventeen years happily ever after, that is. Now with two kids, a small three bedroom house, and an annoying parquet that never knew when to shut up, the Reids were complete. And we all know that in the real world, happiness never lasts. Lillian was the innocent victim of a drive-by shooting, and the moment her heart beat flattened, everything changed. Robert was now the single father of two teenage girls, and Tatiana, the younger of the two, learned at fourteen that we arent invincible, and there are events that can both shape and screw up our lives. From there, days seem to bleed into weeks and specific moments become hazed. Two weeks after Lillian passed away, the three found themselves in the Upper East Side of New York, outside a house of grandeur not even the Better Homes and Gardens magazine could have done justice for. The house belonged to Merriam and Charles Winchester and at the news of their daughters deaths, what other choice did they have but to take their two estranged grand children in, and the man they still believe took their daughter away? Well, theres always a choice, but they already lost one daughter. Sway and Tanna (affectionate nickname only her older sister can get away with calling her) were to be their salvation.
Personality: Cynical, hostile, and bored with the world and those who compose it; despite this generalization, few people know what to make of Tatiana. Shes got a sharp whit and a quick tongue that could put the most sardonically tempestuous person in their place, yet she doesnt always use it. And with a venomous scowl to go along with that quick whit which can be turned on and off at the snap of a finger, shes quickly earned the reputation of being somewhat scary. Yet theres the other side of her that comes out when shes mocking the stupidity of high school politics absently with her sister. Or when shell drop everything shes doing to run outside and dance because its raining and no one else is around. Its hard to tell where one side of Tatiana ends and another begins because theyre all constantly bleeding into one another, and none of them fit any one generalized archetype. Her preferences are her own, and shes remained uninfluenced by outside politics or propaganda. Tatiana doesnt watch The OC because she thinks its a stupid show; she just doesnt watch TV period, because she thinks its a waste of time. And she doesnt listen to music because its blowing up the top 40s airwaves, just like she wont avoid it for that same reason. She does what she wants to when she wants to, and on her own accord. Whether other people agree with her is not her concern. Living life by her standards and her rules are all that matters in the end.
Extra Curricular Activities: Yearbook Staff Editor, Newspaper Photographer and occasional guest writer.
Editorial: Tatiana could say she hates them. Tatiana could say they were the demon spawn of Simon Cowell and deserved to be castrated at the balls. She could say she pitied the girls who got tangled in their web, or she could say they deserved every bit of humiliation they endured. She could even say she pitied the boys themselves for being the pathetic, emotionally challenged losers that they are. Tatiana could say a lot of things, but she w
on't, because that would imply she actually cared. Which, obviously, she doesnt.
Crush: Its common knowledge that cynically witty girls dont crush. No, you see, theyre too stuck on themselves, with poles shoved far too high up their back ends, to ever lower themselves to a level where theres a potential chance for them to get hurt. Except, obviously, thats not true, or at least one can only hope that no ones that one dimensional. No, Tatianas not above crushing. One could even assume that the many late dark room rendezvous with a one James Gibbard presented the perfect opportunity to undergo a secret liaison. Sorry kids, but there arent any hidden elementary tactics lying behind the often biting banter. Their genuine dislike for each other is not a mask for anything resembling an unspoken attraction. That doesnt mean shes not above using those tactics for someone else though. And she does, all the time. But you see, its called a crush for a reason, and thats because youre not supposed to know about it. So guess what? You don't get to.

Name: Hailey Robinson
Age: Sixteen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Somewhat Damaged - Nine Inch Nails
History: Three children born of the Robinson lineage were the luckiest of all Baton Rouge, if it weren't for the series of tragedies that befell them. Mother of the brood, Norma Robinson, was a debutante making her way up the social ladder, thanks to her marriage to politician Giles Robinson. His son was to follow his footsteps, yet all plans made were forgotten when, in a turn of events, Norma disappeared from the city and never found again. The family was distraught and it seemed the only person that could satiate Anden's fears was their maid, Alliane Fowler, whom he was glad to take into marriage. Disaster was at their heels as they fled for New York City, where they both managed to hold down reasonable jobs, and welcomed their only daughter into the world on Christmas Eve. They laughed heartily for having tempted fate and producing a perfect child - Hailey never had it in her to be rude and few have ever disliked her, though the accident that changed her life was never viewed as an accident. On the eve of her fourteenth birthday, the streets were empty as she headed out to practice some of her softball pitches. A drunk driver, the sound of which she did not regard, swerved into the lane she was standing in and hit her from behind, severely bruising her spinal cord. She now sits in a wheelchair and regrets all she did wrong to be suffering as she is.
Personality: She was always known for her cheery disposition and optimistic outlook on life, yet where change would be expected to occur, she still looks upon the world with rose-colored lenses and thinks no wrong. Though Hailey spent many months angry and embittered, much of her former gentle ways have returned to her, though directly effected by the events that she can hardly speak of, and now spends the days in which her voice was the loudest silent. Her heart is overwhelmed by the joy she feels just to live, but her emotions usually get the best of her though she attempts to hide her depression from everyone else around her.
Extracurricular Activities: Students Against Drunk Driving.
Editorial: Being cautious is not over-reacting to a situation, particularly in the life of one of the most knowledgeable. Hailey has hated the awkward stares that follow her everywhere she goes. The last thing she wants out of life is to be grouped with such tasteless subject matter when she barely seems normal as it is.
Crush: Two years ago, the world was at her feet; she was in a serious relationship with a senior student, loving all high school had to offer, and moving onto the Varsity Softball team - a feat for any ninth grader. She was left at her weakest just after her accident for having been left by the same boyfriend she loved so dearly, finding little joy in living, and most of all, losing the one chance she had at making something for herself in the world. Her outlook on life has changed entirely, and though having turned away offers of dates - feeling that they were made out of pity, she has not stopped looking for someone to accept her as she is. Xander James has undergone a change of his own, though nowhere near as drastic as hers, but she still finds him appealing all the same. Though her eyes betray her, her intelligence never has - it would be hard for someone of the high school age to look past what surrounds her to who she is on the inside.

Name: Gibson Waits
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: Simple Things Belle & Sebastian
History: Lana Peterson was raised in a model home. You know, one of those homes that could best be described as perfect. Her mother was a secretary, her father a judge. Money was never an issue, nor was their social life and contacts. Lana however, was never really satisfied with what she had back home, but was constantly looking for adventures of any kind. That was how she met Dennis Waits, an elite cyclist and musician. They fell in love instantly, and just a couple of months later Lana was pregnant. A mistake from their side, but it would soon turn out to be the best thing that had ever happened to the two of them. The little boy was born at a hospital in Vancouver, Canada, where he also spent his first ten years. Being a musician, Dennis originally wanted his son to be named after the in his eyes greatest guitarist ever, Jimi Hendrix. Preferably Hendrix, but when Lana refused (It sounds ridiculous!) he propped for Jimi instead. This name was no better though, since Lana wanted him to be called something along the lines of Jasper or Adam. After many hours of persuasion, Lana finally agreed, reluctantly might I add, to name their son Gibson. Not followed by Les Paul though, despite Dennis wanting to use that as a middle name for the kid. No, Gibson Jasper Waits was the name he finally got and with that they were all satisfied. The family soon moved to New York City, partly because Dennis felt it was time to continue his music career on a more frequent basis, and partly because they Lana once again longed for a new adventure. They found a tiny but cosy apartment where they have lived ever since. Gibson grew up and decided to follow in his fathers footprints. That is, becoming a musician, despite both his parents strongly advising him to go into law or medicine instead, to secure his future. Dont repeat our mistakes is what they say, but somehow they both seem quite satisfied with their lives, even though money isnt always something they can rely on.
Personality: A recurring interview question celebrities get goes along the lines of three words to describe yourself? Gibsons answer to that one would be; odd, individual and pleasant. Yes, those three words sum him up quite nicely actually. But guess what? There is more to him than meets they eye (no, really?). At a first glance he probably strikes you as the typical music geek, nerd or goofball. However, if you just take enough time to look beneath all that, youll also see a...monster. No, of course not. Gibson is relatively talkative, open-minded and secure, but he can also be quite the hypocrite (which hes clearly inherited from his parents by the way). He has a tendency of saying things he doesnt really mean, or perhaps even worse; keeping quiet when something should be said. This quality of his can quite easily hurt peoples feelings, which is something he in no way intends for to happen. That being said, hes probably one of the more dull and normal guys in New York City, which he desperately tries to shove off by acting like a rockstar. Jamming, getting trashed, trying drugs, being a general pain and living life the way he wants to live it. Dont let yourself get intimidated by him though, hes truly a nice guy when it comes down to serious matters and hed die before deliberately hurting anyone he cares for.
Extra Curricular Activities: It begins and ends with Drama Club.
Editorial: Players? Well, its all up to them if they want to hurt chicks or not, but really, whos dumb enough to let herself get hurt by one of them? Its quite obvious whos a player and whos not, at least in Gibsons eyes, and if the girl cant see that, then thats her problem. Unfair? Maybe, but if you join the game, then play the game. This opinion on the players might come from the fact that their lifestyle has always been very distant to him. He has yet not been affected by it in any way, but as soon as one of his friends gets hurt hell be out there aiming for their faces in a second.
Crush: Gibson is one big flirt. Not a player, but sometimes you get the impression that hed like to be one. His eyes travel from one girl to another, and the thing that separates him from the players is that he doesnt peruse anything. He leaves it at a comfortable distance and is quite satisfied that way. He has his guitar, which is good enough for him. Now, there is still one girl that has caught his attention for a good while longer than most others; Celia Waterman-Lee. Gibson knows that the chance of anything happening between them (apart from a lot of kicking and screaming) is about 0,1%...maybe even less, but well, in his dreams theyd be married by now.

Name: Celia Waterman-Lee
Age: Seventeen
Grade: Junior
Song of Choice: --
History: Of the many things that Celia is there is only one thing that she has never been proud of. And that's the fact that in some moment of insanity Joshua Waterman and Selma Lee decided that it would be impossible for Selma to take Joshua's name and therefore stuck a hyphen between the two. And then so kindly handed this down to their daughter. It may be apparent at this point that neither of Celia's parents ever felt that they needed to be too harsh on their daughter. In short, they let her get away with far too much an they seemed to have some problem with parenting. They saw it as an evil and wanted their own child to grow up naturally. It will be no surprise to find that Joshua and Selma met at a New-Age class. They clicked instantly and still talk about their love at first sight, forcing their daughter to roll her eyes. But while Celia enjoys nothing more than complaining about her parents, it's almost certain that she would have been unable to cope in an environment where her parents didn't mind when she decided that she would stop washing her hair. In fact they supposed their daughter's choice, telling her that too many animals were harmed in making products like that.
Personality: Do I even have to bother telling you want Celia's like, or can you just take one glance at her and guess? And please don't try. She'll only hate you for it. Oddly enough you won't find Celia sitting in the back of classrooms, carving her name into the table. Mainly because Celia's slightly more intelligent than that. Obviously if you're looking to deface school property, it always helps that you don't tell everyone who you are. And it's the fact that Celia thinks like this that has always slightly affected how much you she able to live up to what people expect of her. She'll rebel, but they'll always be something that will stop her. She'll tell you want she thinks but never to an extent where feelings get hurt. To put it down to one thing, she has morals. They flash and tell her to stop. But she still carve things into the tables, she'll just not sign her artwork. Maybe people would label Celia a contradiction, and she'd have no problem with it. It's never that interesting to always be what people expect. And then just when people think that they've got you more figured out more than you have yourself, you act. And that's probably Celia. It looks spontaneous and crazy from the outside but she's got it all figured out. And it's not that everything that she does is for effect. Just the few odd moments. Come on, why else would you put a hole in your eyebrow?
Extra Curricular Activities: Art club.
Editorial: Celia's suppose to have an opinion on these boys right? Oddly enough she doesn't really want to waste her time judging what other people do with their lives. Let them sleep with whom they want. It never really affects her. And in her eyes things might seem a little wrong if all of a sudden something that had become such a vital part of high school life just went. How would she be able to cope without the whining of the girl behind her because she cant go on anymore? Hang on? How is that a good thing again?
Crush: Surely if your Celia you're above such things as school girl crushes? If your Celia you wish you were above such things, but unfortunately it seems that her hormones are just as active as everyone else's. She just won't let you know, until you decided that she'll live her whole life as that strange girl in the corner. And who is it that has managed to bring out the school girl crush? Possibly it's less of the singular. More of the plural. But then what else can you expect? Just because you find someone slightly attractive, that does not mean that you plan on spending the rest of your life with them. So to Celia, it seemed perfectly sensible to 'develop' something for more that one person. But who exactly are these people then? Xander James, Gavin Stilts and Jean-Luc DeCuir are these people. Granted she doubts that any of them even know she exists, but she doesn't really mind at the moment. Of course there will be come incident that leads her to actually do something about it, but it hasn't happened yet. Isn't that lucky?
