HOW TO PRODUCE SOUND

Initially it feels like a tough job to try to get any sound from the flute. It really takes a lot of determination and desire, and nothing more!

LOOK AT THE IMAGE BELOW:

Place the rim of mouth piece just half a centimeter below the lips and gently rest you lips on the rim of the flute. Give a smilie, and blow straight in to the hole gently. Have you ever practice spitting watermelon seeds, with gentle pooh blow...Do the same here, Imagine you are spitting watermelon seeds . Curve your lips gently in to a tiny O and imagine blowing a gentle pooh, until you hear a sound thats pleasent enough for you to play. Remember , there is no standard sound, an artist needs to create various types of sounds to play his song, just blow in such a way to create the sound you need to play your song. There is no THE SOUND.
