NEWS FLASH!!!
Melody wins BEST JUNIOR PUPPY IN SWEEPSTAKES at the 2004 BTCA National Specialty!!! She also won 2nd Place in a HUGE Bred-by bitches class at Nationals!!! All this at the age of 12 months!!!
Melody earned her first point toward her AKC Championship with WB/BOS on March 7th, 2004, at the tender age of 7 months! The judge was Ms. Marjorie Underwood and Mel was shown in Bred-by.
She earned two more points from Bred-by on May 16, 2004, under Dr. Lee Anthony Reasin, again with WB/BOS!
Melody was WB for a *5 point major* from the Bred-by class on July 31, 2004, under Mrs. Nancy Fingerhut!
On September 26, 2004, Melody was Best of Winners under Mr. Alfred J. Ferruggiaro for a *4 point major* from the Bred-by class!
On October 28, 2004, Melody was Best of Winners under Mrs. Helen Lee James for 1 point from the BBE class!
Mel earned another point on October 29, 2004 by going BOW under judge Mrs. Keke Kahn from the BBE class!
Melody finished her AKC Championship with a 2 point win under judge Mr. John P. Wade on October 31, 2004!!
On June 5, 2004, she was shown in two UKC shows, under judges Ms. Linda Reece & Ms. Pam Moore where she was Best of Breed in both shows and won two Terrier Group Thirds! Then on April 10, 2005 Melody was show in two UKC shows, under judges James & Austina Heinz where she also was Best of Breed in both shows and won two Terrier Group Thirds! That completed her UKC Championship!
Melody is an expert "critter gitter", already having dispatched a meadow vole and a chipmunk in our yard!! She's showing great promise in earthdog as well!
