| Obsession: Describe the person to the right of you in one word. Anna: Ook! Ook! Faye:Ok...one word? Hmm...Anna...entertaining! (laughs) Anna [to Anais]: Ok...I have to describe you in one word...hmm...WEIRD! (laughs) no...you're not weird Anais: (laughs) I was like, "WHAT?!"...one word? That's it? Anna: Crazy...wild... Anais: Ok, you need to pick one! (laughs) Anna: Ok, weird, crazy, wild! Noo...ok...crazy! In a funny way, of course. Ok, now you've gotta describe Faye. Anais: Hmm...sweet! What stores do you girls usually shop at? Anais: Fred Siegel Anna: Frankie B...and like, the whole Melrose Place... Faye: Yeah, the whole Melrose You always wear the nicest clothes! All: Thank you! Anais: And SOMETIMES, 5th Avenue. Faye: Yeah, ok. Anna: If you have the...(makes money sign) All: (laughs) What's the craziest thing that a fan ever did for you...did you find it flattering...or a little scary? Anais: I guess it's when fans give us really, really nice gifts...like once, I got this necklace with an "A" on it, and it was like, "Woah." It was SO pretty, and I don't know if I can really accept that kind of thing or not...I'm as thankful to them as they are to me...so I didn't know what to do, I was like thank you! Anna: Especially if you get a sweater for 50 bucks or something...it's very weird (laughs)...it's strange. Anais: Actually, the fans have ordered Djungelvral Screams, that's our favorite candy from Sweden, and they ordered it from Sweden to give to us at autograph signings, and that's really sweet. What's the first thing you guys do when you have a little time off? Anais: Sleep! All: (laughs) Faye: Yeah, sleep! Anais: It depends if we're in America, or if we're in Europe. If we're here, we sleep, that's it. Faye: And call our friends. Anais: Yeah, and if we're in Sweden, we'll hang out with our friends. |
| What kind of music did you girls grow up listening to? Anais: I grew up with a lot of Mariah Carey...Whitney Houston...Michael Jackson...I'm a huge fan of Michael Jackson Obsession [Jackie]: Me too! Anais: Give me 5! Obsession [Jackie]: Yeah, Michelle always makes fun of me 'cause of that. Anais: Don't! Don't! He's SUCH a legend! Anna: I definitely think like, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston were definitely really inspiring... Faye: Yeah, I think Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston were inspiring for all of us. What are the best and worst parts about being a performer? Anais: The best thing is that we get to perform in front of fans...express ourselves in music, and we know that some of the things we say go through and get into people's minds...and that's just a beautiful feeling just to know that we have that...and recording, doing what we love...but the bad thing is that we never get to sleep! All: (laughs) Faye: Early mornings! Anna: Yeah, like 4:00 in the morning...it's horrible, so horrible! (laughs) Anais: And I guess...hmm...not being able to see our friends and families as much as we want to. What got you into singing and performing? Did your families do it? Anna: I think I always wanted to sing and dance. I started dancing when I was 3 years old...dancing...you know, like singing and dancing in front of the mirror (laughs). So singing has always been one of my dreams, you know, perform in the school thing or whatever, so I've always wanted to. Anais: I never really wanted to perform, like, I hate it, but my family pushed me into it. (everyone looks at Anais) Anais: (laughs) I'M KIDDING! You were all like, "WHAT?!"...no, but really, I've been singing my whole life, I'm really inspired by my sister and my mother, and we actually started in the same dance school. How do you do when it comes to school work? Between touring, recording, and everything else, do your grades suffer at all? All: (point to laptop sitting on the table) Anna: Every single day...it's HORRIBLE! But, it's good for you! Faye: Yeah, and a really sad thing, we had a tutor, but she went to Vietnam. So, our tutors are like our parents when we're on the road. But, she's on vacation. How long do you do school every day? Anais: About 3 hours a day. Obsession [Jackie]: I wish we had 3 hours! We have 6. Anais: Yeah, but like in school, it's different. You have like all those lunch breaks and everything...but we have to work like, real intensively for 3 hours. How does it feel to be invited back to one of WBLI's biggest concerts? Anais: It's SO cool! It's really good, because all the staff at BLI, they're so cool. Like Just Joe, he's so funny! (laughs) I like, know their names! (laughs). Also, there's alot of cool artists here, like Lisa Marie Presley, LL Cool J...and what's his name? Nick... Obsession [Michelle]: Nick Lachey? Anais: Yeah, Nick Lachey. He's here. So, it's gonna be fun. |
