| Crazy Little Thing Called Viola-Love Viola Love is a wonderful thing. It's actually many things. When Chris is AWOL and Ebony moves back and sits with Sam and I, there is viola-love. When Abby and Jen join us in playing the viola part, that is viola-love (especially since our parts mostly suck...but maybe that's because we mostly suck). When we accidentally talk through an entire song instead of playing, that is viola love. So you see, it's a very lovely and versatile thing, our viola love. Orchy, as my beloved Sam (beloved in a completely non-sexual, viola-love kind of way) calls it, just got LOCKERS!! And they rock, they really do. So the violas actually have several lockers, but Sam and I decorated ours in the Javey-love and it's bitchin' to no end. There will be a piccy soon, as soon as I remember to take my camera to school with me. hehe...that means it could be awhile. Sam even made a sign and it's lovely, but you can see it when I put the piccy up. Sadly, for the musical, the viola love will be split up. Sam and Ebony and Chris are all probably going to be in the show in some way, and there is no viola part for sad little Lauren to play. So Lauren is going to join the cellos (if I can remember how to play one of those things) and probably bug the hell out of Mike, just because I love him SO MUCH. But, after the musical, we will all be reunited and there will be much rejoicing. And probably a party of some sort. Well...I think that is probably all there is to say right now about Viola Love, but if there's anything new, I'll be sure to post it, because I know how entranced (or disturbed, perhaps, is a better word...but Viola Love is fabbity fab fab fab, I tell you!) by this..... I was going to add "Morningstar" by AFI as background music, but because of certain technical difficulties (i.e. me being a) a moron and, b) too cheap to buy more space), I can't...sadness...it has a viola in it too... Other neet-o songs with violas include: "Letting the Cables Sleep" by Bush "Love Ridden", "I Know", and "Get Gone" by Fiona Apple "Halloween" and "The Stone" by Dave Matthews Band and I'm pretty sure "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day has a viola in it....but I could be wrong...and then I would be sad... |
