The top and bottom of the ship were vacuum-formed styrene and glued together. Parts were cut and removed from the bottom to add the landing gear base. This project was an introduction to "kit-bashing." Parts were used from existing science-ficton model kits. Real wire was used to add dimention and realism. The Jawas were from Galoob's Micro Machine people sets.
