This rendering was from my college class, Product Design and Rendering. My Instructor thought that Since my last name was LeMieux, and I played hockey that this was the ideal project for me... Redesign a goalies helmet. It was one of the most fun project I took on. After about a hundred ideation sketches, I came up with the design. I call it The Gryphon. It is named after the mythological creatures that protected treasures. The new design features more air vents to make the helmet cooler, and lighter.
