The Japanese Jalopies continue to lose matches but gain fans by the numbers with each loss. Now it all comes down the bout they were looking forJapanese Jalopies versus The Manhattan Project for the GHC Tag Team Titles. How did this come about? How in the world did a failure tag team get a shot at the prestigious gold? Well, they interfered in the thrashing of Bradley Duncan, thats how. But why? We find El Tigre and Mysterious X at an undisclosed graveyard in the United States. It is dark and gloomy with a chance of a shower late this afternoon. The Japanese Jalopies are both wearing similar trench coats, only showing their masks. They are both standing over a 6 foot deep hole, ready for a casket to be lowered into. Oddly, a headstone rests there while a body does not. Usually a headstone is placed after the body is laid to rest, but this is not the case here. Someone is either going to be buried very soon or someone was dug up. We try to look at the headstone but El Tigre and Mysterious X are blocking any good angle to see it. Mysterious X: Welcome, to the final resting place of many wrestling careers. We all come here within time. Bodies get old. Lives are taken. Wrestling careers just run their course. Whatever the case maybe, we will all end up here sooner or later. Just down the path we saw Hulk Hogans grave. His career is done but he doesnt seem to know it yet. A few headstones away youll find Hayabusas. Just to the right youll also find GFWA legends like Phobia, Awesome Adam King, and Seattle Sound. It always happens to the greats. Now here weve got an open grave, waiting for someones career to enter. Could it be The Butcher? I respect the man for he doesnt seem to ever quit the sport. Im afraid hell be asked to leave or a sudden death will come to him before he officially exits the squared circle. Maybe this is Max Dangers grave? I doubt it. A broken neck cant even hold that egomaniac down. El Tigre: This grave has great significance in the gfwa OMEGAs history. A legend from the past was either dug up or else one of the great wrestlers from gO will lay here at the end of WAR. Its either going to be us or The Manhattan Project. If we win, The Manhattan Project will be done. If they win, the Japanese Jalopies are done. Simple as that. No WAR occurs and ends without someone or something dying. There are always casualties. El Tigre kicks some dirt into the empty hole.Mysterious X: Whenever a career is ended an ideology goes with it. Seattle Sounds Feel the Sound! ideology went away as they were enshrined into GFWA mortality. Phobias ideology of never going to lose went out the window when The Butcher scored the upset pin. A Tendency 2 Start Fires ideologies of Dont Quit and Find the Fire Inside was extinguished when the GFWA merged with bWo. El Tigre: Our ideology is gone now. We hated Americans and their style of wrestling. With each loss we gained more and more respect towards America and now that weve landed on American soil, our hatred has been changed. We do not hate all Americans anymore. We do not hate the American style of wrestling as much. The only Americans we hate are Bronx and Brooklyn. The only style of wrestling we hate is The Manhattan Projects way of wrestling. We realized our errors and hatred for the wrong things. Weve changed for the better. El Tigre makes his way towards the back of the headstone, leaving Mysterious X to block whos it really is.Mysterious X: Bronx and Brooklyn, we joined the gfwa OMEGA for this moment. We joined to end your reign as GHC Tag Team Champions. Do you hear that, El Tigre? El Tigre: The laughter? Mysterious X: Yes, the laughter. I bet it is Bronx and Brooklyn laughing at the challenge set before them. They are laughing at the fact that the Japanese Jalopies are their opponents for WAR. They are laughing at the fact that we have yet to win a single match. We arent laughing though. The joke is over. The circus has made its last stop. We screwed around in all of those matches before because we could careless about NVC and Time for Plan B. We wanted the self-proclaimed greatest tag team of all time. We wanted to prove them wrong and now we get the chance. If we fail in our mission at WAR, the Japanese Jalopies shall cease to exist. No one will ever hear from us again and our names will be forgotten in GFWA lore. But we will NOT fail for everything is on the line! El Tigre: Someones career will end and will be buried with the many wrestling greats at the end of WAR. The Manhattan Project brought the end of World War II but come Sunday, the war will just be beginning! El Tigre knocks the headstone over and into the hole, making sure no one knows whos final resting place this will be. Soon after, El Tigre and Mysterious X exit the scene, humble and focused. They seem to be the exact opposite of what weve witness for so many weeks. Now they seem in sync and concentrated on the task at hand. We shall soon learn if they can live up to their expectations or fall just like so many teams have before them.
