Last week was a blow off week for sure but the gfwa OMEGA still provided a FREE show to all of its fans in Japan. The Butcher came back to action to face the worlds most famous jobber Jose Jose. The sad thing is that Jose Jose has NEVER won a match in his entire careerwell that is until he put one over on The Butcher. The Butcher was obviously not thrilled to be pinned by a naked Mexican jobber that never won a match. Then again, the win was not official seeing as it was not really an official show. But enough about last week, lets talk about the week before so we can continue this story. Two weeks ago The Butcher received a note and a picture of his brother. The note told him to go where it all began and that is where we will find The Butcher nowright were it all began.
-|- We find The Butcher in Harlem, New York in a taxi cab. He is looking out the window with a stern look on his face and rubbing the stubble on his chin because he hasnt had the chance to shave today. He looks out at the New York skyline, looking for those two famous buildings that arent there anymore. It all seems to be a dream to him. He takes his mind off the tragedy and watches passing trees, cars, and kids that should be in school but decided that smoking weed was far more educational. He looks at the mirror in the front seat, noticing that the taxi cab driver is Arab and watching his every move. The Butcher is not a bigot though and the thought that the taxi driver might be a terrorist never crosses his mind. Hes too deep in his thoughts of what might lie in the road ahead in his life. -|-
I have to go where it all began. I have to go back home. I have a strange feeling about this though. It doesnt seem safe. Nothing seems safe.
-|- The thought that he has another match this week against Payne and Poke in a Supreme Death Match pops into his head, piercing his collected thoughts. -|-
I dont have time for a match. Wrestling is not important right now. Damn you, Max Danger, you will pay for this. I doubt Ill even show up for the match. I have no reason to. My only family is gone now and all Max Danger can do is think about punishing me for helping his company. He wants to put me in this Supreme Death Match hoping that it will show me the wayshow me that being extreme and hardcore is not good at all. I will show Max, though. Extreme and hardcore are the new ways the game is played.
-|- Finally, the taxi comes to a stop. The Butcher pays the taxi driver $49.55 for the ride and then he gets out. The taxi drives off as The Butcher stands where it all started. In front of him lies his home and where he last saw his parents. Usually, the place is trashed on the exterior and interior but The Butcher put some money into the place and cleaned it up thinking it would make all the pain go away. But it didnt. It is unusually cold for this time of year and The Butcher can see his breath as he exhales. He opens the freshly painted gate and walks in. He begins to walk towards the entrance when something shinny catches his eye. He looks down at the moist dirt and picks it up. He looks at it for a moment and you can see that it is a penny. -|-
Brand new. It must be good luck.
-|- He flips it, catches it and places it in his jacket pocket and moves forward. As he takes his hand out of the jacket pocket, a set of keys comes with it. He searches through a few and finds the right key. He places it in the door and turns as the others jiggle in the cold air. He gets a chill and a terrible thought. This is the door to his future. He stands at the door, about to open it, getting visions of death crossing his mind. He knows that if he opens the door nothing will ever be the same again. He takes the risk anyway and opens the door. A release of a sweet smell comes rushing out of the door. He breathes it in deep and closes his eyes knowing that smell. -|-
It smells like Nikki.
-|- He reaches into the dark for the light switch, hoping he doesnt find anything he doesnt want to. He turns on the light and illuminates the living room. He then steps in to check everything out. -|-
Nothing has changed.
-|- Then he notices something. There is a piece of paper set on the TV Guide. He quickly walks over to it and grabs it. The note seems to be written in blood and it is still fresh as some of it runs down the paper. He keeps the paper flat, making sure no more runs down. He is both confused and angered that someone has been in his home but he digresses and read what he can of the note. -|-
Retrace that night. What the?
-|- He understands the roots of the game but doesnt know who the Dungeon Master is yet and hopes to find out soon and kill that person. He walks into the kitchen, turns on the light, and looks at the phone hanging on the wall. A ghostly image of his father appears as The Butcher recalls the night his parents disappeared. The phone is ringing and his father answers it. Then The Butcher walks back into the living room to go upstairs. His mother is putting him and his brother to bed. He walks up the stairs and then makes a right turn to walk into the room where his brother and him slept. He turns on the light. Everything is the same as it was back on that day. The Butcher has kept it this way as a shrine of some sort. -|-
The Butcher: Who is doing this to me?
-|- The Butcher turns off the light and walks down the stairs to the living room. Before he reaches the bottom of the stairs he stops. He notices that he is not alone. There is someones shadow moving down in the living room. The Butcher slides against the wall and slowly makes his way down the stairs making sure they dont creak. He gets to the end of the wall and looks around it carefully. He cannot believe who is there. Its Mr. Warlock. He then quickly runs down the remaining stairs to see his long time friend. -|-
The Butcher: What are you doing here? Mr. Warlock: I come to visit. The Butcher: How did you know I would be here? Mr. Warlock: It was I that sent you the message to come here.
-|- The Butcher gets a surprised look over his face. He cannot believe what he is hearing but deep down inside he knew that Mr. Warlock was the one that gave the gfwa OMEGA crew man the envelope which contained the picture of his brother. The Butcher then gets a serious look on his face. He knows something isnt right. He stands about a foot away from his idol and mentor. Mr. Warlock stands there with a semi-evil grin on his face. -|-
The Butcher: Where is my brother?! Mr. Warlock: Oh, hes in good hands.
-|- The Butcher is losing patience and grabs Mr. Warlock with both hands and brings him close to his face. He can smell the wine Mr. Warlock had for lunch in his breath. -|-
The Butcher: Where is he?!
-|- Mr. Warlock just smiles. The Butcher then lets him go because he cant hit his friend. -|-
The Butcher: Are you the one doing this to me? Making me remember my past? Are you? Mr. Warlock: Yes. The Butcher: Why? Mr. Warlock: Because I need you to be strong. The Butcher: Why do you need me to be strong? Whats going on? Mr. Warlock: The future.
-|- Before The Butcher can ask another question the door flies open and in walks the large and small masked men that attacked him back in the beginning of August. The Butcher quickly punches the smaller man but then gets put in a choke hold by the bigger man. The Butcher tries to fight the large man but he gets poked in the arm by a needle. Mr. Warlock stands over him with malevolence in his face, injecting a fluid into The Butchers arm. Once the fluid is all gone and in The Butchers veins, Mr. Warlock pulls out the syringe and commands the large man to let him go. The Butcher tries to get out the door quickly but starts to feel like hes going to pass out. -|-
Mustgetto Nikki
-|- He then passes out as Mr. Warlock looks on. He pulls out a cigar, lights it, and then smokes it as he lets out a sinister laugh. -|-
